27/10/2024: The Schlern-Hex is a must if you are in South Tyrol, beautiful old inn and invites you to linger, eat very well, service was great, we felt very comfortable 🙏I can warmly recommend it ☺️but you have to make a reservation as it is always very fully booked

02/07/2024: Very good, authentic Tyrolean food with a top price-performance ratio (cheap for South Tyrol). Extremely nice, friendly service!
25/06/2024: Sehr freundlicher Empfang und gute Beratung. Das Essen war sehr gut, toll garniert mit Blüten aus dem eigenen Garten (essbar, hmmmmmm ;-)
Der Salat war frisch und knackig. (Salat, Obst und Kräuter aus eigenem Anbau!).
Und als Nachtisch gab es selbst hergestellten Schnaps. (Enzian, Zirbel, ...),
unbedingt probieren!
Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gepfegt und nicht "verstaubt" !!! Wir wären gerne nochmal gekommen, aber der Urlaub war zu kurz.
Aber beim nächsten mal werden wir wieder im Steinbock essen!

19/09/2024: Fantastic atmosphere and beautiful view of the town from the outside terrace. Must book otherwise at peak times will need to wait at the bar for a table. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Dumplings with onions and speck not to British tastes.

Ottimi i canederli e lo stinco.
Peccato non avere provato i dolci......ma eravamo veramente pieni....

08/09/2024: Das beste Essen was ich in Kastelruth und Umgebung genießen durfte.
Linguine mit Meeresfrüchten waren überwältigend. Das Schnitzel meiner Frau klasse. Die Preise unschlagbar und dazu eine äußerst sympathische und freundliche Bedienung.

29/08/2023: Ich habe auf der Puflatsch-Wanderung diese Hütte als Ziel erkoren. Die Lage ist super, man kann wunderbar sitzen und das Essen war richtig lecker, die Holunderblütenschorle war eine der Besten, die ich in Südtirol getrunken habe. Alles in allem eine schöne Einkehr und absolut zu empfehlen. Preise moderat.
17/08/2023: While making the Bulaccia trek high, in Compatch, there is this place on the way. A nice station to have a meal in the mountains.
There is a planty of space (out and inside) a couple of sweet animals and nice food.
This year my choice was potatoes with fried eggs and speck, and a sweet and nice looking piece of raspberry cake with tea.
A nice place to have a meal while walking in that amazing area.
