05/02/2026: We ate here three times during our week-long vacation. All the dishes were excellent (tagliata, pasta with venison ragout, spare ribs, etc.).
The service was very attentive and friendly. We especially appreciated the chef's flexibility regarding specially prepared vegan dishes. The "ravioli with celery and mushroom filling" was also a big hit with the non-vegans.
05/02/2026: Delicious food. Finger-licking ribs, delicious lasagna, authentic Italian style, and excellent pizza. The house wine was excellent. Great service, great atmosphere. Luckily, they don't charge extra. I highly recommend it, and we're going again today.

18/10/2025: The food is very good and the table is served very quickly. I highly recommend it. We can only congratulate the hosts on the two conditions that were in charge of us; they were simply top-notch. We'll be back next year.

08/12/2025: We found it by chance, as all the restaurants in the center of Castelrotto were closed.
It was around 1:30 PM, and when we called, they told us the kitchen was open until around 2 PM.
As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us kindly, which wasn't exactly expected given the hour.
We ate very well, both the dumplings in broth and the excellent venison goulash.
The restaurant is five minutes from the center (you need to take the car), but definitely recommended for a quiet stay and good food.

31/07/2025: E’ la prima volta che passiamo le vacanze in questa zona. Dopo una piacevole passeggiata ci siamo trovati nei pressi di questo ristorante. E’ stata una gradevole sorpresa, abbiamo pranzato molto bene, piatti molto abbondanti e curati. Consigliato
26/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante per puro caso a pranzo e sono rimasta entusiasta!! Non avevamo prenotato e in 5 minuti, nonostante la confusione di persone che aspettava, ci hanno fatto accomodare. Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. È tutto veramente molto buono, anzi ottimo!! Non perdetevi lo stinco, gli spatzle e uova/patate/speck: favolosi!! I piatti sono molto generosi!! Consigliatissimo!!

01/03/2026: A random and very positive experience. Unobtrusive, tiny, family restaurant. The interior is outdated, a bit Tyrolean in style, but I liked it. It was so homely, like somewhere at grandma's.
The menu was basic, fewer items, the better the food preparation. 🥓🌶️🍳👍🏻
The lady serving was very nice and helpful, happy to advise on choosing a dish. The food was excellently prepared, with respect for the ingredients. It was a very pleasant surprise. 👍🏻
We will be happy to come back here. 🙂

22/01/2025: Sono molti anni che veniamo sull’Alpe, avevamo sentito parlare bene di questo rifugio e quest’anno che finalmente siamo riusciti a pranzarci non possiamo che confermare il passaparola positivo in merito. Qui troverete autentica gentilezza, gusto, qualità, ampia scelta del menu’, ottima presentazione delle portate e una bella atmosfera. Al momento per noi è la migliore esperienza culinaria sull’Alpe. Speriamo di potervi tornare in futuro.

25/08/2024: Ottima cucina con i piatti classici della zona, provato polenta, uova, speck e patate, pasta, strudel.. tutto ottimo. Le giovani ragazze che servono sono attente e cortesi.
23/08/2024: La baita è in prossimità dell’impianto di risalita a monte.
La baita ha tavoli all’aperto ma anche al coperto.
I piatti offerti sono quelli comunemente proposti in tutte le baite della zona.
La qualità è accettabile ma il prezzo è alto se rapportato ad altre baite della zona.
Penso che facciano pagare la posizione anche se sia in estate come in inverno non mancano le alternative ad una distanza ragionevole.
Non penso valga la pena di ritornarci.
