01/06/2026: Our stay at Tarantola was truly unforgettable. The setting was picturesque, the team was so kind and helpful (despite our limited Italian), the location was perfect to explore the Northern coast, and the food was hands down the best we’ve had in Sicily. We will probably be talking about those dinners for the rest of our lives! The menu was different, creative, and impeccable every night of our three night stay (and an incredible value). We can’t recommend highly enough!

24/05/2026: Perfect Sunday at the Tarantola farmhouse. ​We stayed at this farmhouse nestled in the Alcamo countryside today and were speechless! ​The food is delicious and incredibly plentiful: the appetizers were endless, with so many courses, and the caponata was truly amazing, out of this world! The first and second courses were equally excellent. ​The location is enchanting: all the greenery surrounding the property is meticulously cared for, and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. The staff is fantastic, incredibly kind and welcoming. Excellent price.

10/11/2025: High-quality restaurant: we ate wonderfully! The first course, busiati pasta with swordfish and eggplant, was truly delicious; the second course, fish caponata, was simply superb. Attentive and efficient service, a refined atmosphere with attention to detail. Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times. It's very beautiful, with its antique, tasteful decor. I've had the opportunity to try both pizzas and restaurant-style dishes. The menu includes traditional meat and fish dishes... Good value.

09/05/2026: We live thanks to food, we nourish ourselves for pure survival, but we often go to certain places to ensure that this ancestral gesture transforms into an experience to remember, where food is not only fuel for the body but also a means of pure joy for the palate and the mind. At this place, food is a serious matter...from the pizzas to the restaurant, everything is meticulously prepared and refined. Are you celiac? No problem, from the pizzas to the restaurant, you too can enjoy the pleasures of the table. Tonight in particular, I came in for a pizza, but I immediately changed my mind when, along with the menu, a mini selection of three types of burgers arrived at my table...the Sicilian, the classic, and a hot version focused on spiciness. After a brief consultation with the owner, I decide on the Sicilian, with typical local ingredients. What arrives is not a sandwich but a masterpiece...180 grams of perfectly seasoned meat, sun-dried tomatoes stuffed with breadcrumbs like grandma used to make, primo sale cheese, mayonnaise, and lettuce for something that leaves an impression. Plus, they serve rustically fried potatoes with their skins on, something I really appreciate but don't always find in restaurants. I don't want to forget one very important thing that, in my opinion, makes the difference between a good place and an ordinary one...the staff is unique, attentive, courteous, and polite... What can I say...more than recommending it, I'd say this experience is worth a try without hesitation.

07/12/2025: La Bisaccia in Alcamo, a place surrounded by greenery just a few kilometers from Palermo. A warm and welcoming place. If you want to be treated with a red carpet, I recommend this place. The owner and the assistant maître d' will treat you like royalty. From appetizers to dessert, everything is amazing: the dishes are delicate and made with high-quality, authentic ingredients. The owner even offered us more wine. Excellent value. Photos and videos tell the whole story.

28/10/2025: A very pleasant place. With a warm atmosphere and excellent service. The caponata, gnocchi, and pasta with ragu are excellent. I recommend it and would gladly return.

06/09/2025: Excellent food The service was good, even though the shutters were half open, they still served me. The space is a bit small due to the crowd.
