04/01/2026: We had great pasta for lunch, the salsiccia in the ragu was very tasty.
08/12/2025: Frozen porcini mushrooms passed off as fresh (very serious) and paid as if they were.
One dish was missing the side dish that was included in the price, and they offered to replace it with French fries. Unfortunately, they later charged the full price for the dish, including the French fries (equally serious).
Some dishes were completely missing from the order and added later, with no apology, no discount on the final bill.
Yes, some dishes were local and fresh; the rest is inexcusable.
No, period.

17/10/2025: A beautiful, peaceful place, surrounded by well-kept greenery. If you're looking to relax, this is the right place. The pool is large, beautiful, and spotlessly clean.
The only flaw is the accommodation.
We never found anything in the kitchen except two cups, even though there were three of us. The dinnerware rental cost €8 per day.
Not even a glass or a piece of cutlery other than two teaspoons were provided. It's a shame, because otherwise it would have been a perfect stay.
14/10/2025: Pleasant stay, surrounded by olive trees and silence, shame about the rubbish along most of the Sicilian roads, which leads me to look at other destinations with great regret.

Small portions, everything gourmet, but good
Very good service; although very young, they were attentive and efficient.
17/11/2025: We had lunch à la carte. The atmosphere was small but well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and courteous, but the menu was a bit limited in its selection of dishes, with plenty of aesthetics but little substance.
The prices? In line with local restaurants.

16/11/2025: Our experience at this nearly Michelin-starred restaurant unfortunately fell far short of expectations. The tagliolini with mushrooms was the main disappointment: completely flavorless, without aroma or character, a dish that left no impression on the palate.
To make matters worse, the service was decidedly poor: little attention to customer service, long wait times, and service that didn't even begin to reflect the restaurant's aspirations.
For a restaurant that strives for excellence, we expected much more. This experience, however, was truly disappointing.
07/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant with incredibly friendly owners. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars for the service. It's probably already common knowledge that Andrea's dishes are a culinary delight… and the prices are absolutely reasonable for this quality (starter: porcini carpaccio, followed by tagliolini al tartufo di Palazzolo con uovo poche, dessert: ricotta with strawberry sauce). The wine recommendation was, as always, excellent. It's well worth the trip, especially since Palazzolo Acreide is simply beautiful…
Update November 2025: Nothing has changed. Simply superb!

01/01/2026: Lovely and authentic Sicilian restaurant with no frills. Frencesco, the owner and chef, is a super friendly character. Great experience!
17/11/2025: We visited this charming trattoria on Sunday, right in the historic center, at the foot of the magnificent Basilica of San Sebastiano. We were welcomed directly by the chef and owner of the trattoria. He was friendly and courteous, and even humorous in his approach. The food was fresh, local, from the fresh pasta to the meat, and the portions were generous.
The service was kind and professional; in short, we were treated very well. The prices were average, the food excellent, and the service impeccable. We will definitely be back! Recommended.

15/11/2025: Saddened. I've been visiting Corsino for several years, but something has changed. As always, I order an arancini for lunch. At the counter, I asked if the arancini were warm. I like them that way, and last time, they were a bit cold. So I explained to the person at the counter, who rudely replied that it was a diner and my question was inappropriate. Well, once again, the arancini were cold and unappetizing. I don't know if I'll want to go back. More because of the un-Sicilian gentleman at the counter's lack of warmth than because of the lack of warmth in the arancini...

23/11/2025: We had a family gathering for lunch, and a local relative decided to choose this restaurant. Very good, with generous portions. The ricotta is homemade, so you can taste it's truly artisanal. Highly recommended.

25/09/2025: I absolutely had to try it during my crazy bike ride to Castel Guelfo. It's a lovely gelateria, spacious with plenty of seating both inside and out. There's also a big TV screen. There's even a small park with rides next to the place, a truly great location. The sad face of the gelateria owner, however, touched me; it was a moment when no one else was there. I was honestly very disappointed because I found it to be a very good place, despite the limited gelato selection. The cremino and mascarpone flavors are good. Prices are average.

10/11/2025: Delicious food, I even managed to eat it gluten-free. I'm in a small town in Sicily, so I don't expect the staff to speak English. Authentic Sicilian food, where the locals eat. For me and my husband, it was a real hit. People who expect elegance and service using BBC English should think twice and go to the capital, not the outskirts. Anyone who wants to experience local flavors and atmosphere is in the best place. I recommend it ❤️
