26/07/2026: Finding a place where you can eat excellently is fantastic, but finding a place where the hospitality and courtesy are unparalleled really makes all the difference. At Sicilia Nostra in Carlentini, we were greeted with extraordinary kindness. What I appreciated most of all was the treatment given to my dog: the waiters were wonderful, very accommodating, and even tried to play with him to make him feel comfortable. Even though we always leave prepared, the staff had the thoughtfulness and kindness to immediately bring us a bowl of water, then asking if we needed more. A rare gesture of thoughtfulness that demonstrates great professionalism and sensitivity.
Moving on to the food: the pizza was excellent, without a doubt among the best I've eaten in the last year! Perfect dough and quality ingredients. It was truly a wonderful discovery and will definitely become a regular spot for us. We'll be back very soon! Highly recommended!
26/07/2026: Four of us had dinner, ordering two fried fish dishes and four fish-based first courses. The food was good, but for the price, I expected more. The fried dish, consisting of a bed of lettuce leaves, a lemon wedge, two squid rings and two tentacles, two shrimp, and four battered vegetables, costing €22 a plate, is unacceptable. The first courses were good, with just the right amount of pasta, but lacking in fish. Basically, you pay for the fish and smell it. Having noted the "I'll report it to the kitchen," the response was:

18/11/2025: I've been coming back to this pizzeria for many years, and the quality of the ingredients and dough is always top-notch. Excellent pizza, light dough... It's a small pizzeria, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Highly recommended!

26/12/2025: The first course with meats and cheese was delicious, the crispy chicken burgers where ok, and the fries with cheese and meat are again very good.
23/11/2025: Last night I wanted to try this place.
I can say based on what I ordered.
The potatoes with their skins and bacon were good.
The pinsa, on the other hand, was mediocre, both in terms of the seasoning and because it was industrial, not artisanal.
The place was clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

28/06/2026: If you have to take people, explain how it works, they say that Pizzolo horse meat only has cheese and then it's full of onion and tomato and then 4 chips 25€ and then horse meat is not just a name, it's normal meat.
19/06/2026: A friend of mine and I ordered a pizzolo, listing the various ingredients from a list previously made privately. We noticed a flaw in their assortment of sauces, which didn't have the one we requested. We decided to continue anyway. A normal-sized pizzolo cost 22 euros.
When we got home, we noticed that lettuce was missing from the ingredients. When we called, they told us it was our mistake for not having mentioned it beforehand (more likely, that we hadn't told them anything). (There were two of us in front of them, testifying that we wanted the pizzolo with lettuce. 😂) So I decided to end the discussion, and once I got to the third slice of the pizzolo, I found myself with a piece of chicken bone. I'm not sure if the photos show the size of this piece. (But for the price, it doesn't even have full edges, huh?)
It's flawed in many ways:
quantity of ingredients
value for money
excessive price
disregard for the products produced
rudeness of the clerk
I'm giving it 1 star and not 2 because of the lying clerk; I don't accept disrespect.
(I'm adding a note at the end of the review because I forgot to mention that we asked for the Swiss cheese at the bottom to help it melt better; they put it on top, not listening to our request, and in fact, it didn't melt at all.)

26/11/2025: Booked with TheFork (50%) discount. The quality/price ratio was poor. Unfortunately, the service charge (€3 per person) was a bit cheesy and "overturned" the discount logic.
2 carbonaras and 1 water: €23, of which €9 was just for service and water.
The carbonara was salty, and the table was not cleaned properly, as shown in the photo.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Needs improvement...
01/11/2025: Had a few meals here. Lunch and dinner. Some excellent lamb chops. My wife had the Gnocchi. Also an excellent Aperol Spritz. The guys are fun. Excellent English.

25/03/2025: Un pranzo della domenica piacevole. Cibo buono, soprattutto l' antipasto, la ricotta con la scorzetta d'arancia sopra era favolosa. Le porzioni erano giuste e in ogni caso i camerieri passavano chiedendo per un eventuale bis della portata. La sala molto rustica come giusto sia in un agriturismo, arricchita con tutti gli arnesi di un tempo. Camerieri professionali ed educati, servizio veloce. Prezzi nella media
02/03/2025: Pranzo con famiglia e bambini. Cibo molto buono e piatti interessanti. Ambiente rilassato e personale cortese. Torneremo di sicuro. Bello anche far vedere gli animali ai bambini prima o dopo pranzo.

13/07/2024: Serata da incubo avevamo prenotato per festeggiare il nostro matrimonio con tanto di contratto specificando il menù dicendo che c'erano delle persone intolleranti ai funghi con tutte le rassicurazioni da parte del preposto che sarebbe stato tutto perfetto, infatti appena arrivati la sera del ricevimento nn c'era nessuno che ci accolto il tavolo dell'aperitivo vuoto siamo dovuti andare a cercare i camerieri che dopo un po' hanno cominciato a preparare,cominciamo male ci siamo detti ma il bello doveva arrivare,arrivano gli antipasti ci avevano detto molto abbondanti un piattino con un velo di cipolla che doveva essere salame ,un ditino di formaggio una ricotta,due olive, quattro rustici,ed un piattino di caponata, tanto che ci è sembrato di essere su scherzi a parte ,ma era solo l'inizio di una serata disastrosa iniziano con i primi risotto al radicchio, trofie zucca speck e( amaretti ) inesistenti
Il riso immangiabile salato rimasto tutto sui piatti, le trofie coii funghi anche quelli rimasti per via dei molti intolleranti ai funghi,praticamente tutti gli invitati sono rimasti digiuno.
Sono riusciti a rovinare come peggio nn si poteva la nostra festa.
Ci è rimasta la rabbia, delusione e la mortificazione nei confronti dei nostri invitati,il mio consiglio è quello di guardare oltre.
