09/03/2026: The chef prepared a seafood cuisine expertly. We sampled John Dory, and the chef prepared an omelette with the eggs found inside the fish. While we waited, we were treated to a taste of artichoke and, to finish, a sweet brittle, a local specialty.

20/02/2026: Super fresh fish, simply cooked but with exceptional flavors. Nothing gourmet, just true quality. Attentive and friendly service. Reasonable prices for what they offer. The best if you want to eat fish.

06/12/2025: We came here on the last night of our trip and it was delicious. Not the best pasta I had in Castellammare, but it was flavourful and huge portions with lots of seafood. The addition of curry in the ravioli sauce was unusual but it worked. The staff are very friendly - we ordered a carafe of wine and only had the thick stemmed water glasses. They were quick to bring us proper white wine glasses and were welcoming of our attempts at Italian! The outside area is on a slant which isn’t the most comfortable but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. I would come here again!

08/11/2025: In September, we dined at "La.maidda" a few evenings and had a wonderful time. The first and second courses were incredibly fresh fish. The tuna and pistachio steak was fantastic. The house wine was excellent. The price was reasonable for the dishes. Recommended!

The place is enchanting, and the wait staff is distinguished by their politeness, courtesy, and professionalism, both in their service and hospitality. The pizza is excellent, both in terms of toppings and dough, with balanced flavors. An experience worth repeating.

26/10/2025: A family-run trattoria, unassuming but with truly excellent food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try the nduja bombette (or ravioli with ham). The homemade desserts are also excellent.

11/10/2025: We love it. We stumbled upon it three years ago by chance, looking for a place to eat, and despite its modest appearance, instinct told us to stop. The lady cooks like a pro: pajata, truffle ravioli, and bombette stuffed with anduja and provola cheese... Everything is super homemade and delicious. And the gentleman is incredibly friendly and welcoming; he spoils us with a drink, even a non-alcoholic one for my son, and always has a kind word for everyone. We hope it never changes, and I'm a little sad to write this review for fear it will be overrun by tourists, but they truly deserve it.

18/09/2025: I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat truly excellent food, both in quality and flavor. We were invited thinking it was just a pizzeria, because of the excellent pizzas, but beyond the pizzas and the dishes on the menu, we chose one from the seasonal menu that includes several seafood appetizers (photos of which are posted), truly delicious and at a very reasonable price. I'm not sure if the photos do it justice because we had already started eating. It also includes a marinated shrimp with lime and nocepesca (which I couldn't photograph), a truly generous trio of smoked meats, a swordfish caponata, a shrimp cocktail and seafood salad, and a delicious fried calamari... A stunning location in a town that has perhaps been overlooked until now... If you go to visit the Loggia del Sinatra in the evening, I recommend eating at La Bottega. The staff is truly friendly!

27/09/2025: A little gem in the heart of Ispica! This bar combines old-world simplicity with a warm welcome that makes you feel instantly at home. The gentleman who greeted us, smiling and helpful, made a quick stop for a refreshing drink a pleasant and relaxing experience. This place stands out not only for its affordability, but above all for its friendliness and family atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic experience in the center of Ispica!

09/02/2026: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PIZZERIA (to be listed on TheFork). This pizzeria has been in the area for many years. The pizza has always been good, and the owners and staff have always been kind and professional. The management recently changed hands, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the new, always friendly and attentive staff, the delicious antipasto (a Neapolitan specialty), and the delicious pizza. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. I hope the quality continues. I'll be back soon.

23/09/2025: Asta came highly recommended by our flat host during our stay in Ispica. Everything we bought there was absolutely delicious. We visited almost every day and enjoyed handmade scaccia, pizza slices, and a wide variety of freshly baked rolls. Also the staff is very friendly!
