25/12/2024: We decided, on the advice of a person from the village, to spend Christmas lunch in this farmhouse... a farmhouse in a place forgotten by God with a road that was at times impassable, with a rough road surface... we said to ourselves: let's hope it's worth it sorry, driven also by the positive reviews on the food we were confident...but our expectations were soon dashed...Appetizers just passable, leaving aside the presentation of the dishes, we expect tasty food ..but none of this..the first courses were a totally tasteless mushroom risotto, and some shells stuffed with ricotta with pork ragout (I think the pig had escaped with the sauce) overcooked or rather overcooked..left everything in the flat, like most of the diners, and no one bothered to ask if something was wrong... let's move on to the second courses: slices of stuffed pork, very soft, but this too was almost tasteless and the lamb was rather stringy, with a side dish of cabbages which were always tasteless... to conclude it all, a dessert (calling it dessert is a utopia) which was supposed to be a slice of panettone filled with ricotta was simply a small slice transparent sponge cake with a hint of ricotta... at the price of €50 per person... I'm sorry to write such a review but a similar menu, poor and tasteless, cannot be proposed as a Christmas lunch!! nothing to say to the staff, more or less present in the room. People make sacrifices to afford a lunch out of town, and certainly even those who manage and run a business there make (the sacrifices) but everything the work behind it is undermined by such experiences.
