10/08/2025: Great atmosphere, very good service, the food isn't 5-star but it's good, the best thing about this place is the service and being able to sit up high with an excellent view.

19/07/2025: Had my daughters surprise college graduation the other night at La porta del Pepe, 🩷🇮🇹 from the moment we walked in it was magical 🪄from the staff greeting us with champagne to all the attention to detail to all the decorations throughout the place, everyone was so attentive of my needs, the food needs a 10 star rating because everything I chose was fish based and it was freshly caught that day ( it doesn’t get fresher than that) the chef is top notch, if you decide to have a party or just lunch or dinner when you are in Sicily , this should be your number one spot you’ll never get a bad meal thank you Isabella & Giuseppe for making our dream come to life ❤️🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹❤️

15/08/2025: Il Corallo, a small trattoria on the Aspra-Pa seafront. Limited seating, so reservations are definitely necessary. I returned because I had previously enjoyed the dishes, which were expertly prepared; compliments to the chef. Generous and tasty dishes accompanied by a good glass of sparkling wine. Excellent value. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

23/08/2025: We ate here the day before yesterday. The restaurant is located right after the little white house... ample parking. I'll start by saying that the food and quality are what make this place stand out. The only flaw was that we all ordered pizza except one of us. Spaghetti with clams, alas, was excellent, but the portion was really small. It was almost all clams, but the pasta was very limited, so I'd say a little more generous next time. Otherwise, the location was clean and the staff were helpful. We were happy, except for the size of the entree. We'll mention that next time.

22/03/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Trogadero. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff very attentive, and the service was excellent. I recommend it.

14/07/2025: Ci ricasco ogni volta perché fanno una buona pizza e torno dimenticando i disastri del servizio della volta precedente. Posso dire con certezza che una volta su due l ordine se va bene viene ritardato di tanto, a volte dimenticato. Scordatevi di mangiare tutti insieme a meno che ordiniate la pizza. Le portate arrivano a rate in ordine sparso, anche se il locale non è pieno. Non ho mai lasciato recensioni ma oggi si sono superati e con questa mi riprometto di non tornare più. Stavolta davvero. Una caprese per mio figlio arrivata 20 minuti dopo il resto (pomodoro e mozzarella tagliati, per capirci), la mia pasta e vongole dopo un ora e venti e solleciti mai pervenuta. Mi sono alzato digiuno, ho pagato e me ne sono andato. Sconto niente ovviamente pur avendo fatto presente che me ne andavo digiuno. Finta di niente e a posto così. A vostro rischio e pericolo, diciamo per amanti del rischio. In conclusione pizza buona, cibo onesto, prezzi non proprio popolari, soprattutto per essere in Sicilia e per la qualità generale.

07/07/2025: PAYING 60 euros PER KG for grilled sea bream without even a leaf of lettuce as decoration is OUTRAGEOUS: not even in starred restaurants do we find these prices. Thinking of dealing with tourists and ripping them off is not a good move, especially if we are not tourists because I personally am from the place.

18/07/2025: The chicken was very good, and the potatoes too! Truly delicious! It's a shame it was 50 minutes late! But I recommend this place! We also found some delicious panelle among the potatoes!

21/05/2025: Excellent restaurant, charming place with a really nice outdoor space, the interior is tastefully furnished, good and quality food, really top-notch chef, discreet service, everyone friendly and helpful, you can park on the street, accessible to everyone, even the disabled, it is located on the ground floor.

01/09/2025: There was a long wait for the service. Don't order the classic cassatella; everywhere else, for €4 or €5, they'll bring you a large cassatella. Here, you order a cassatella and they bring you three mini cassatellas, meaning little ricotta and all fried food, but at a whopping €7 per portion. A wonderful, shocking surprise. Then again, all the prices are inflated; you can't afford to pay between €20 and €27 for a first course, just the first course. It's unthinkable.

01/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us. The food was good, nothing extraordinary, but my two stars are due to an incorrect final bill. First of all, looking at the menu, we noticed the extremely high prices, ranging from €20 to €22 for a first course. However, we ordered an off-menu dish recommended by the owner, who told us about a first course with squid ink, sea urchins, and raw shrimp. Therefore, the entire table ordered this first course. Let's look at the bill: the off-menu first course was set at €24, a price not even on the menu for similar dishes. However, the surprise was the €3 surcharge added to this first course, labeled "+ raw shrimp." I didn't check when we paid, but after we left, commenting on the high price, we realized this incorrectness, because the raw shrimp wasn't an additional request on our part. The off-menu dish was described as including the raw shrimp.

15/06/2025: Overall the ingredients are of good quality I ordered an imperatore pizza (18€ for pizza) with caramelized onion where the vinegar was so present that it covered all the flavors of the pizza. They also made a mistake with other pizzas at my table due to various oversights. Unfortunately the boys who serve the tables are also very lacking. Really a shame. Personally never again
