18/01/2026: Finally, after years of coming to this magnificent restaurant, I can write my own review. I waited to do so on purpose, after having tried all—and I repeat, ALL—the restaurants in the area and beyond, I can say without a doubt that it is the absolute best, in terms of food, service, and value, and I can say this with complete certainty. I recommend everyone to try it, and you will definitely return, as I obviously did! TOP in the area! Kudos to the chef, but also to his wife, for her professionalism and dedication to her work.

10/04/2026: A classic place where you can eat good food, really good, the signature dish being macaroni with tomato sauce made with Nebrodi sino, and the cured meats and cheeses are excellent.

07/04/2026: We booked at the restaurant because it is recommended by Gambero Rosso... the location is very nice... Already from the orders the host seemed a bit inattentive... when the appetizer was brought the table was not served all only 3 out of 10 and my Carrubba appetizer which is made up of 15 courses said by the host had not been served if after our initial perplexity we were told that having ordered 2 Carrubba appetizers we would have to share it without having said... then brought some samples he told me the waiter that it was finished but the fried samples had not been served and we pointed it out... asked for the fillet proposed by the host which arrived after a very long wait and asked many times the reason for the delay so much so that he said that if it had not arrived within a few minutes we would have left, a good sirloin arrived and not a fillet as requested... the food is excellent the price is correct but the host was unhelpful... a few episodes of 4 restaurants to see I would recommend it to improve on how to do the friendliness is a strong point of the place

07/04/2026: A remarkable experience thanks to the excellent Chef-Factotum Franco, first for the Good Friday dinner, and then confirmed for the Holy Saturday dinner: exquisite food, virtuous use of raw ingredients, skill in managing the stuffed pasta worthy of a Modena Sfoglina hybridized with a Michelin-starred chef, top-notch vegetables and legumes, excellent knowledge of Sicilian and non-Sicilian wines... 18/03/2026: We had a fantastic meal with excellent wine. Everything was explained clearly by the owner, who is also the chef. Very surprising and definitely recommended.

18/10/2025: Isola dei Sapori is a lovely family-run restaurant managed by Luana and Gaetano. They serve the freshest seafood straight from the sea, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—a true symphony for the palate. The service is excellent, and Luana is exceptionally friendly and attentive, even entertaining our children with great creativity. As a grand finale, we enjoyed the homemade lava cake prepared by their daughter—a perfect ending to a wonderful meal and journey of flavours!

09/12/2025: Once we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome that, despite the winter, cheered us up. Matching the warm welcome and cheerfulness of the staff, the meticulously prepared dishes arrived, perfectly cooked and flavorful, far beyond the norm, all topped off by a staff that was more than present, helpful, and above all, friendly. Highly recommended; the chef's skill at grilling is indescribable.

18/04/2026: What can I say? Two local friends recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say I was right to listen. Impeccable service, delicious, varied food, and truly reasonable prices...plus, they offered us homemade desserts that capped off the meal and made us want to come back again!

18/04/2026: We took a detour from Taormina to Cefalu. A restaurant nestled in the mountains, offering exceptional quality and capturing the essence of rural Italy. Delicious lamb pasta.

01/11/2025: A couple of months ago, it changed hands, keeping the restaurant's name, but not only that, it also maintained the high quality and deliciousness of its pizzas, first courses, and second courses. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, and the prices are affordable, but it's worth it. I highly recommend stopping in, even if just out of curiosity—you won't be disappointed.

25/01/2026: Wow 10/10. The food here was incredible and so was the service! We arrived and were pleased to notice the wheelchair ramp at the front! Furthermore, when we met the staff they were great, so friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean and was pretty busy for a week day. The menus were great as they really detailed every dietary restriction for each item, making it much easier for people with allergies. After taking some menu suggestions from the staff, our food arrived 5-10 minutes later, a very short wait! The food was incredible, the arancini was so crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside with an explosion of flavour with every bite! The pollo schiacciato was also tasty and the serving size was really good value. The fried zucchini flowers were incredible so please make sure you do not forget to try these! I can’t wait to taste them again! All of the portion sizes were full plates of food, great value for money! Then the dessert came, the Semifreddo was amazing. Each bite was just filled with so much flavour, I’m also coming back to try this! All in all, great location, staff, service and food makes for the perfect dining experience. Would highly recommend coming here to anyone, I’ll be returning myself next chance I get!

29/12/2025: It's a very beautiful and unique place, with an excellent menu in both the restaurant and pizzeria, and fresh, quality ingredients. The desserts are heavenly; try the soft and delicate lemon cream. The staff are attentive and active, and the owners are professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
