27/04/2025: We stayed at Borgo San Francesco and we can only define it as a true corner of paradise! The location surrounded by nature is simply wonderful: the greenery that surrounds every corner conveys a unique feeling of peace and tranquility, perfect for those seeking relaxation away from the chaos.
The rooms are spotless, with attention to every detail and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Special thanks go to Mr. Antonio, manager of the internal restaurant: every morning he welcomed us with a sincere smile and rare kindness, also offering us excellent advice on what to visit in the surrounding area. His availability and human warmth made our experience even more special.
We highly recommend Borgo San Francesco to everyone, but in particular to families, because it is a safe, relaxing and perfectly organized place to experience moments of serenity together with your loved ones. We can't wait to return.
25/04/2025: Good nights sleep. Clean basic accommodation for a great price, in authentic borgo with beautiful stepped gardens and quaint buildings. Breakfast was superb great variety and pleasant sunny restaurant with amazing views.

18/10/2024: One of the most beautiful places in Sicily and the province of Messina, Capo Calava' in Gioiosa Marea....the clear sea and the crystalline water together with the wonderful sea breeze, and the water at the right temperature, allows you to have a nice swim and in front there are the Aeolian Islands and precisely Lipari and Vulcano...I recommend it....🤗

03/03/2025: I don't think I said that I paid for the mussels and I can assure you that it's not in my head that the oysters were inedible... you were an uneducated person, I've eaten in the best restaurants, I was born with fish, you shouldn't be allowed to go any further, you should also accept criticism. I definitely shouldn't binge. Maybe when you went to restaurants it meant that you "gorged yourself" and so it seems to you that people are the same as you. I could go further about his place, but I'll stop here. She wishes me a good binge, but I wish her a good job

31/05/2024: Antipasto di mare non fresco sia di gusto che di odore, ordinata anche una pizza col prosciutto per la bimba, il prosciutto immaginabile e sgradevole, non ho fatto casino perché era una ricorrenza, anche se me ne sono pentito non tanto per noi adulti ma per il prosciutto ricevuto per la bimba a tre anni. Da evitare..... Cmq ci sono stato il 30 maggio alle ore 20.0 giusto per non nascondermi e dare un idea di chi sono...

07/04/2025: Trouver un restaurant ouvert en cette saison (début avril 2025) hors zone touristique relève du défi… le chef a bien voulu nous faire des pâtes rien que pour nous, ses seuls clients à déjeuner….
C’était très très gentil
Donc 4* même si la qualité des sauces de pâtes n’était pas ce qu’on peut espérer. Disons qu’il manquait le volume pour les cuissons longues..
Digestif offert.
C’est correct mais allez y pour un apéro et la vue qui vaut la peine elle.

02/02/2025: Maitre di sala bionda con la coda assolutamente da cambiare: poco duttile, e poco professionale!
- ci hanno assegnato il tavolo sotto lo schermo e le casse audio all’angolo ed alla ns. richiesta di sederci al tavolo accanto, la signora ha seccamente detto no! Tutto questo per favorire i soliti “compaesani raccomandati.” (Che fino alla fine non sono pervenuti, lasciando il tavolo libero)
Personalmente lavoro col pubblico e, nel limite del possibile cerco sempre di favorire i clienti e di accontentarli o comunque di dare spiegazioni. Se chiedo di avere un altro tavolo non è perché faccio i capricci!

27/12/2024: Abbiamo mangiato a base di pesce, tutte le portate erano buone ed abbondanti. Servizio curato da personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo gradito a fine pranzo il liquore gusto crema di limone e cioccolato offerto dal ristorante. Nessun problema dí accoglienza per il nostro amico a quattro zampe che dà in viaggio con noi. Consigliato.

16/10/2024: E' uno stabilimento balneare a poca distanza dal Villaggio TH GIOIOSA MAREA. La spiaggia e ben curata e attrezzata offre noleggio di lettini e ombrelloni ed è convenzionato con alcuni hotel della zona. Dispone di un bar e una bella terrazza sul mare, con vista sulle Isole Eolie e uno spazio esterno. Il ristorante propone piatti della tradizione e pizza con la possibilità di mangiare vista mare. La sera organizzano diversi tipi di intrattenimento. Un bel lido.

21/08/2024: Bar in posizione centralissima a Gioiosa Marea, con ampio spazio esterno, ambiente molto curato, personale molto educato e gentile, prodotti freschissimi, parcheggio in strade adiacenti, unico neo lentezza per pagamento.
15/08/2024: Siamo stati trattati malissimo dal ragazzo delle ordinazioni...dopo più di mezz'ora di attesa chiediamo di ordinare e molto maleducatamente ci ha risposto che non arriva a servire tutti e se volevamo potevamo alzarci e andarcene. Mai più in questo bar
