We spent a week in Gioiosa Marea and went for dinner three times. The food was delicious, and the staff were all very welcoming. If we were to return, we'd definitely know where to go for excellent food.

Excellent experience at Ristorante La Vecchia Posta! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Sicilian flavors. Every dish was carefully prepared and beautifully presented, showing great attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting — perfect for a relaxed meal in Gioiosa Marea. Staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. Great service, generous portions, and a wonderful dining experience — highly recommended!

01/08/2026: Gluten free pizzas and pasta available - to start I had a gluten free focaccia loaded with fresh tomatoes; for main I had a gluten free spaghetti carbonara - the food was delicious! 4 stars given as we had to wait a little while for a table and when we did get one it was very cramped - in fairness we were a group of 6 and we didn’t pre book so in future we would book ahead. Lots of veggie options too and everyone in our group really enjoyed the food. I recommend the Etna Rosso red wine - very smooth and drinkable! We had complementary prosecco on arrival and I was given a separately packaged GF roll whilst the remainder of my group had fresh bread. Service was great and we would definitely recommend this place for coeliacs and those who are also dairy free and veggie / vegan!

08/08/2026: Absolutely recommended! The food was outstanding, the service attentive, friendly, and simply perfect. The garden setting is also beautifully designed and makes the visit truly special. We felt completely at ease. A truly top-notch place that we can recommend without hesitation. Fantastic, keep up the great work, guys and gals! 👏😊
10/07/2026: The best pizza I've ever had. The dough was delicious, the toppings were fresh. We ordered two pizzas. The first was the "Norma," a typical Sicilian pizza with eggplant, and it was delicious. But the second, with seafood and swordfish, simply blew us away. It was amazing! Add olive oil and it was heavenly.
