08/07/2026: If you're looking for typical commercial cuisine or the usual mass-produced "mass food," look elsewhere. This trattoria is a little gem that's remained true to what's done well. Upon entering, you'll experience a warm and welcoming atmosphere that transports you straight to the 1960s, but the real strength is the cuisine: here, everything is focused on the absolute quality of the ingredients and respect for tradition.
Each dish tells a story; the flavors are authentic, carefully prepared, and genuine, light years away from the banality of tourist menus. The portions are generous, the service is courteous, and the attention to detail truly makes the difference. I'll definitely be back; highly recommended!

20/06/2026: We came on a Saturday evening, without a reservation, while there was an event in the village center. Despite the crowd, we received a warm welcome and were served quickly. We're not pizza experts, but we can honestly say they were delicious: perfectly cooked, generous, and full of flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed them! 🍕😊

11/05/2026: Stunning view. Excellent food; if you have any intolerances, they'll substitute dishes with other options. We had a 13-course appetizer and a 3-course main course, all plentiful and well-served. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
07/05/2026: We're from Rome, we're used to traveling and eating well, but I say this from the bottom of my heart: I think this is the best restaurant we've ever eaten at in our entire lives. We'd never seen a place like it!
We came here for lunch and had an unforgettable culinary experience. We chose the full menu, and be prepared, because you'll literally eat until you can't eat anymore! They brought us a whopping 14 (FOURTEEN!) appetizers, each more delicious and fresh than the last. This was followed by 3 spectacular seafood first courses and 1 second course. The quantities were enormous, but above all, the quality of the fish and the preparation were truly top-notch. And all this at a final price that can only be described as 'incredible'. A value for money that is unparalleled.
A huge round of applause goes to the owner and all the staff: wonderful people, incredibly generous, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They make you feel pampered from the beginning until dessert and their fantastic amaro and limoncello.
And then, the location... Eating on their terrace, overlooking what I think is the most beautiful view in all of Sicily, reconnects you with the world.
If you're in Forza d'Agrò, stopping at Ristorante Il Padrino isn't just a recommendation, it's a must. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

05/06/2026: The food was amazing! And so was the service. The only thing that was a bit questionable was the seatings. It were plastic chairs and tables.
30/05/2026: We stopped here for dinner and were truly impressed! The food was spectacular; from appetizer to dessert, you could taste the authentic Sicilian flavor and the freshness of the ingredients.
But the real difference is the welcome, the warm, family atmosphere, and the staff, who are exceptionally kind and attentive. They make you feel pampered from start to finish without ever being intrusive.
Excellent value for a dinner like this. We'll definitely be back next time, highly recommended!

04/03/2026: My family and I had a terrible meal. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had lunch until almost 4 PM. Not only were we unable to enjoy the food, I didn't even find it to be of any quality.

26/04/2026: A very beautiful, characteristic place located at the entrance to the village. The staff was courteous, but they didn't bring us a menu, so we weren't sure what to order and the prices. At the table, there was only the wine list. They recommended either the full menu or starting with appetizers and then continuing with first and second courses if we wanted to continue. We had two meat menus and one fish menu. The meat menu's appetizers were a bit disappointing, especially because there were very few hot dishes, and there were many cured meats and cheeses that you can easily eat at home whenever you want. The fish-based first courses were good, the two meat-based ones were good, and one was left over: penne with pepper, a sort of creamy cheese and pancetta dish. The pasta was overcooked, not to mention the sauce. They didn't explain the dishes they were bringing to the staff. We asked several times what the dish contained or what the ingredients were, and their response was, "Now ask in the kitchen." Several waiters kept coming by to ask us the same thing. As soon as we sat down, three of them asked us if we wanted water, even though we'd already said yes to the first waiter. It's better to ask more than not to be served. But I had the feeling of disorganization. Be careful if you order the shrimp, they're in their casings. I honestly don't know if I'd recommend it or go back. Maybe I'd recommend it to someone who wants to eat fish.

07/07/2025: Con un gruppo di amici ci volevamo sedere fuori ma ci viene consigliato dalla cameriera di sederci dentro in quanto la sala era climatizzata, abbiamo accettato, ma poi hanno spento il climatizzatore e noi abbiamo chiesto per ben due volte di riaccenderlo, ci veniva risposto che lo avrebbero acceso subito ma non lo hanno mai fatto. Per quanto riguarda la pizza ne abbiamo mangiato di migliori.
16/06/2025: All'interno di un paese meraviglioso abbiamo scoperto questo locale che si affaccia sulla caratteristica piazza del paese ed abbiamo assaggiato una squisitissima granita siciliana! Straconsigliata!
Il personale si è dimostrato gentilissimo, simpatico e molto accogliente!

26/10/2023: I thought that a restaurant located in such a frequented place (next to the main square) could only be a kind of "tourist" place... But I was very pleasantly disappointed. Real Italian chefs and servers, delicious food, great atmosphere. Pizza Diavola is wonderful with crispy dough and spicy sausage.
26/09/2023: Excellent cannolies! Beatifull place.
