10/11/2024: We have been eating here for 40+ years, either grabbing a coffee and granita in the morning or the amazing seafood for lunch, or the delicious pizza at night. This summer we even did the trifecta. Bottom line, you’re across the street from the beach, so there is usually a nice breeze, also it’s a beach vibe if you’re in a rush getting something to take away might be best. The seafood is amazing, fresh and very good selections. The pasta al lo scoglio is amazing!

06/10/2024: Locale tradizionale e semplice, pochi ventilatori, personale non pronto a rispondere alle nostre domande. Ci sono stati cucinati (o riscaldati) piatti improponibili: tremenda pasta alla norma, tremende linguine di pesce non siciliano, vecchia e troppo fredda caponata, vino allungato. 14/11/2024: There are no words to comment on my experience at the restaurant. Three times I had dinner at the Carusi's and three times I hit the mark. Fortunately, I consider myself capable of knowing good food and I can confidently say that I have never tasted the scampi and prawn risotto I ate anywhere else. Super.

I had the pleasure of having dinner with friends at the Pepe Rosa restaurant and I can say without hesitation that it was a real journey of taste. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, always attentive to every detail to ensure impeccable service. The menu offers a vast selection of dishes prepared with local ingredients of the highest quality, presented with care and with a description worthy of a starred restaurant. Each course is a perfect balance of flavors, and the attention to the raw material is perceived in every bite. The wine list is extensive and well selected, offering perfect options to accompany any dish. Impossible not to want to return! A restaurant that deserves to be discovered and experienced several times. Highly recommended!

29/09/2024: We go in to have a snack, we notice some kind of canestrelli in the window, partly empty and partly SLIGHTLY covered in pistachio or hazelnut cream. We rightly ask if they can be filled with flavors of our choice and we are told in response by the lady at the counter "they are already filled". To which we reply that they seem more empty than stuffed (they were: in most of them there was chopped hazelnuts AND THAT'S IT), and the lady at the counter replies to my mother "ma'am, what do you want?", synonymous with "don't bother me, thanks", later stating "in Messina we make them like this". He could have given reasons with a completely different tone, saying "unfortunately they came like this, sorry", "we can add something if you want", or any other response that does not disrespect the customer. Absolutely not recommended.

25/11/2024: Poor food, presumptuous waiter, nice owner but unfortunately they didn't even have the sauce to make pasta for the children. Beautiful place worth it. Price not good too expensive.

10/09/2024: Beautiful place overlooking the sea.. you can eat both outside and inside. It has a very beautiful view. Lunch was very enjoyable, really good... linguine with seafood and plenty of pesto and excellent pasta... there is also good mixed fried food but a little for one person is fine...

07/10/2024: The chicken is small, almost a chicken... Pretty flattened, a bit dry... but the taste is debatable, I can imagine many people like it... The price for this is really high... considering that it's not a Lockal but only to take away... in the back yard, a bit hidden...

05/10/2024: Pizza buona, ingredienti validi e servizio di asporto rapido ed efficace. Ho ordinato due volte le pizze, la seconda volta non erano buone quanto il primo ordine.

24/08/2024: Amazing arancini, especially those with sauce. Friendly staff but very tired from work or at least every time I went there they were visibly tired and weighed down. It's difficult to be greeted with a smile. Otherwise nice place and excellent location.
