05/05/2025: Locale storico nel cuore pulsante del paese, caldo ed accogliente, sia per la struttura e l' arredamento che per la disponibilità ed ospitalità del personale.
Le pietanze rispettano la tradizione culinaria pugliese senza essere banali e scontate, con un pizzico di creatività che le rende ancora più gustose, e con materie prime di buona qualità, dall' antipasto al dessert.
04/04/2025: Siamo stati in famiglia , noi genitori e due bambini piccoli. Accolti con garbo e gentilezza . Il sorriso non manca mai , la ragazza che ci ha accolti è davvero molto garbata, in linea con tutto il locale .
Il locale bello e caratteristico, pulito ed accogliente . Abbiamo preso la sezione di antipasti ed un secondo . Davvero una sorpresa , tutto ottimo e raffinato . Luogo tranquillo adatto a serate dove si può godere di buon cibo e compagnia senza il rischio di non sentirsi per il rumore . Conto davvero in linea , corretto ed onesto. Ci ritorneremo .

21/05/2025: I have to give 5 stars because you can't give more, the location is fantastic and tastefully decorated, the menu offers several choices, one better than the other and the chef's cheesecakes were out of this world. The service is very fast and the guys who work there love what they do. The quality/price ratio is perfectly respected. We will definitely be back to try more and more things
26/04/2025: Un’esperienza surreale.
Prenotazione per il secondo turno per quattro persone. Io e il mio ragazzo arriviamo in anticipo di 10 minuti, ci fanno accomodare mentre aspettiamo i nostri amici. Passano appena 7 minuti (ripeto: siamo ancora in orario), e il proprietario – visibilmente infastidito – si avvicina con toni sgarbati e arroganti, dicendoci che avremmo fatto meglio ad aspettare fuori dal locale.
A quel punto, dopo essere stati praticamente insultati, ci siamo alzati e andati via, senza neanche aver ordinato. Nessun tentativo di comprensione, nessuna cortesia, solo una maleducazione da manuale.
Gestire un ristorante non è solo cucinare: è saper accogliere le persone con rispetto. E se questo locale ha deciso di puntare sull’antipatia come tratto distintivo, allora ha fatto centro.
Non torneremo mai più. E non lo consiglierò mai a nessuno.

30/12/2024: Excellent food, unfortunately the service needs to be improved. We had chosen a certain cut, but at the time of the bill we were given a cut with a price higher than €30/kg, placing the blame on us diners.

15/12/2024: Really bad experience. We phoned to book a table and were told that there was room, so we went there. The place was full so it was a clever trick on the part of the owner who probably thought they would wait a long time to get customers. Young man but gruff and grumpy he didn't even have the good sense to kindly say sorry but it's Sunday wait a bit he was there for goodness sake but nothing, zero welcome and doing it with those who come from outside and even more so it's a burden... perhaps the food is good there but I doubt a good morning starts in the morning and we will honestly never know, we will never go back to sulky, unsmiling owners who don't do their job with passion and love... smile that life is beautiful and be grateful to those who allow you to do it...you know, we found even better...

29/05/2025: Our food was absolutely amazing and the staff were lovely. My partner had the cannoli and I had ravioli and we both absolutely loved our food - some of the best we have had in Italy! Our waitress Rosangela was amazing, so helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend if you are in Martina Franca!

04/04/2025: Sono venuto a mangiare con la mia compagna in questo posto stupendo.
Abbiamo preso antipasto misto con varie portate e la carne mista, che a mio avviso erano la cosa più buona, le salsicce e le bombette qualcosa di stupendo!!

02/03/2025: Locale carino, location in un trullo....bello poter vedere la forma conica del soffitto.... Secondo me si mangia abbastanza bene, prodotti locali ....da quel che ho visto antipasti abbondanti....prezzi nella media. Non mi entusiasma, ma è un ristorante di livello medio/ alto....arredato con cura....pulito e rivolto a famiglie e giovani. Però dall' esterno è un po' desolato....e non molto " visibile".....siamo nella campagna di Martina Franca, esattamente a San Paolo ....ma se si ha bisogno di tranquillità va benissimo. Promosso ma potrebbe migliorare.

Let’s get one thing straight: having a bar or “gelateria” in a charming Pugliese piazza doesn’t automatically give you the right to serve mediocrity wrapped in attitude. This place is the perfect example of a lazy business model banking entirely on location and clueless tourists.
The food? Barely edible, when it's even available. Burnt crêpes, industrial “granita,” and ice cream that would be a disgrace even at a gas station freezer aisle. Hair in the dough. Orders forgotten. Ingredients “unavailable.” Three staff members, three tables, and still no service. It’s not even understaffed—it’s uninterested.
The staff? Rude, annoyed, passive-aggressive. If you're lucky, you’ll be ignored. If you're not, you'll be treated like you’re bothering them by daring to order. Don’t expect courtesy, don’t expect quality, and for God’s sake, don’t reasonable prices.
This place is run by people who believe that being in Puglia is enough. That tourists will always come, that locals will just "deal with it," and that service and quality are optional.
This isn’t a café—it’s a trap. An insult to Apulian hospitality. A black hole where good taste, decency, and customer respect go to die.
Locals, tourists, anyone with a shred of dignity: avoid this place like the plague.
14/05/2025: The place, although small, was very welcoming, the staff was super kind and welcoming and the service was very fast. The food was delicious. The girls who served me, Giusy and Serena, were super sweet and super helpful.

Carenza assoluta di condimenti,la carne non aveva gusto ..
Poca scelta,servito tutto insieme (non sapevo cosa mangiare prima) e nel momento in cui faccio notare questa cosa al cameriere mi risponde con arroganza..🤦♀️(i modi mi hanno disturbata).
bistecche di vitellino su pietra lavica arrivate già stracotte.
che dire.. mi aspettavo di piu ma sono certa che migliorerà, ha molto potenziale.
13/11/2024: Mangiato con amici vari tipi di carne , dalle bombette alle costate alla zampina tutto molto ok . Anche molto buone le patate tipiche martinesi . Buono il costo . Location un po’ anonima e fredda nell arredamento .

20/04/2025: This place is beyond appalling. First we sat down and it took about 20mn to flag down a waiter. Eventually he came to take our order - 3 simple drinks. We then proceeded to wait again. We went to the bar to ask them what was going on after 15 more minutes, they just said it was coming shortly. Of course, it didn’t. They then started serving other groups that arrived after us. He passed by again and said the drinks were coming shortly. Eventually after 40mn of waiting, the waiter comes back to our table and asks what it was that we ordered. These guys have no clue how to run a bar. Run away.

La Locanda del Macellaio

13/10/2024: Non andavo in questo posto da oltre 8 anni, dopo aver avuto esperienze pessime. Spinti dalla fame (spoiler: a fine serata ne avevamo più di prima), e dal non aver trovato posti migliori, riproviamo l'avventura presso questo locale. Ordiniamo salsicce e bombetta. Le salsicce arrivano dopo una quarantina di minuti. Il cameriere (cameriere n.1) ce le porta con una fretta da corridore olimpico, neanche il tempo di chiedergli come fossero (ne avevamo scelte di diversi gusti) che già era sparito. Poi l'oblio. Dopo un'ora e mezza, chiediamo ad un altro cameriere (cameriere n.2) di passaggio che destino fosse toccato alle nostre bombette, lui sorride, dice qualcosa di incomprensibile e se ne va. Ma restiamo fiduciosi. Nel mentre, ordiniamo una birra al cameriere n.3. Dopo quindici minuti, non essendo ancora arrivata questa birra (pensavamo la stessero consegnando dal Portogallo), chiediamo al cameriere n.2 la stessa birra, che scopriamo con gran piacere arrivare dal frigo a circa 80 cm dal nostro tavolo. Passano altri 5 minuti, e il cameriere n.3 ci porta la famosa birra, che però avevamo già avuto; la apre, e dopo la nostra segnalazione relativamente alla birra già ricevuta, con assoluto problem solving, ci rimette il tappo sopra e la sistema in frigo insieme alle altre, pronta per essere servita al prossimo fortunato cliente.
Ma torniamo alle bombette: leggerissime, così leggere che non le abbiamo neanche viste. Perse nel multiverso. Dopo appena due ore, chiediamo al cameriere n.4 quanti giorni ci fossero ancora da attendere. Risposta:"Ma le vostre bombette sono state già consegnate". Chissà a chi, chissà dove. A seguito delle nostre lamentele, ci viene detto che non avremmo pagato le bombette (ma dai, davvero? ) e che ci sarebbero state scomputate dal totale (in base a quale calcolo poi?). Per il resto, abbiamo pagato tutto, anche il coperto (che dovrebbe prevedere un minimo di servizio) a fronte di una serata rovinata. Adesso ci ridiamo su, ieri sera eravamo un po' meno felici e soprattutto molto affamati. Sconsigliatissimo.
12/10/2024: Seduti a tavola alle 21,30 il primo è arrivato a mezzanotte,uno schifo di servizio lento e snervante...... Ma come si fa' ad andare in questo posto?
