30/09/2024: We had reserved a table outside via WhatsApp at the end of September, but were unfortunately seated inside when we arrived. The map is clear, but everyone will surely find what they are looking for. Unfortunately the bread for the starter was warm but dry. When we received the main course, I discovered that my dish was cold. However, I had to wait about 20 minutes for a complaint because there was no service anywhere in sight. Our glasses also remained empty. When I complained about my food, I received a fresh, hot portion, but without parmesan and there were still no drinks. That's why we left the restaurant quickly after eating because we just felt unwelcome and treated badly. In summary, although the food is okay, the trip is not worth it due to the poor hospitality.

22/09/2024: It is a very nice little place in the historic center of Avetrana, very welcoming... very kind and friendly owners know how to satisfy every request. The pinsas and frittini are excellent and my daughter prefers the hamburger sandwich... in short, a must try, highly recommended!

11/10/2023: Cenato in questo posto molto accogliente, arredamento tipico di un luogo di mare, quasi ellenico... non scordiamo che la Puglia faceva parte della Magna Grecia. Ordinato una serie di piatti, buona la quantità ed ottima la qualità, buono anche l'impiattamento senza avere le pretese di un piatto gourmet, come non deve essere. Cucina tipica pugliese con vero km 0... basta guardare pochi metri più avanti l'orto da cui provengono le materie prime. Complimenti.

29/12/2024: There are a lot of ants on the property, in the room and even in the bed! On the way back home we still find this on our bodies, in the bags and suitcases... Concerns the beds in the room; the sheets have not been changed once, only neatly made. We could see this because there was already a stain on the sheets when we arrived at the masseria. The beds are old, hard and you can feel the springs pricking. We are used to really hard beds and prefer this, but if you lie on your side and you feel the iron poking you, that is certainly not okay (To be clear, we are 60 and 75 kg). After we indicated this, a kind of molton was imposed, what they call a 'topper'. This obviously does not make a more positive contribution. After two sleepless nights we both woke up with back and neck problems. After a few conversations it is indicated that they will not arrange new mattresses. They advise us to contact the tour company for another stay, and that it will be better if we stay elsewhere. After we have indicated this, there is a noticeable difference in the approach from the employees. Some employees seem to prefer to be somewhere else than here anyway. It just barely manages to bring a smile. The beds at the pool are moderately sized, very hard and when they lie flat you can feel the edge in your skin, which remains visible afterwards. The possibility of lying in the shade is difficult, despite the parasols. There is a very poor WiFi connection. Sometimes it seems as if they have pulled the plug (in the evening) - then there is little or no connection at all, because the range is minimal here. The breakfast is sparse and the same every morning, except for the jam on the cake. The food in the evening in the restaurant is highly recommended! Furthermore, it is a beautiful place, where you can really see the authenticity of the farm. -summer 2023

15/09/2024: Rooms were nice and interesting. The site has a great restaurant and awesome pool! Best was the service. Shout out to Piera Angela (probably spelled incorrectly) for the great tips and conversation!
