The Ristorante Vecchia Fontana is a real insider tip for anyone who loves authentic Italian home cooking.
The cuisine is fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired – from fresh pasta to perfectly prepared fish and meat.
Particularly impressive is the head chef, Salvatore, who continually conjures up new culinary surprises with passion and skill. The cooking here is done with heart and soul – and you can taste it in every bite!
The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, typically Italian, and ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel immediately welcome.

I recommend everyone to come here, because in addition to having quality products, the prices are super fair (€35 for three pizzas, an appetizer, a drink each, and dessert).

12/05/2025: We found a. Cozy place, fantastic pizzas of the past, and then the impeccable service. The very kind girl who took the orders, even though we were a table of 8... and there was a mess in the room, they were very quick. Finally, the prices of a Margherita of 3 euros once upon a time hadn't been seen in a lifetime. We will definitely be back with a few more friends ☺️

02/08/2025: Location da togliere il fiato, pace e tranquillità, nonostante la pioggia e l'allestimento invernale interno ci siamo goduti la serata fra il buon cibo di una volta, ottimo vino e una coinvolgente spiegazione della storia della Masseria da parte di Chiara che ringraziamo. Torneremo sicuramente :)
31/07/2025: Semplicemente Sublime, ti senti parte di un contesto storico e rurale che ti fa' rivivere la vita di un tempo purtroppo passato.
Sentirsi accolti dalla Masseria è un dono, rivivere l'atmosfera semplice, umile e sana che respiri ti fa' percepire che la Masseria si prende cura di te stesso.

15/08/2025: This historic farmhouse is the ideal location for those seeking rejuvenation: immersed in a surreal atmosphere, evocative, ancient, and yet modern.
Last night, we also dined at the farmhouse's restaurant, serving excellent traditional dishes made exclusively with local ingredients. The farmhouse's many hectares of land are home to countless fruit trees, which the masterful kitchen transforms into sweet and savory delicacies...
We also danced and participated in the evening event dedicated to the pizzica, with I Trainanti, which was masterfully opened with a story told by the owner of the farmhouse, the lovely Mr. Antonio!
And what can we say about his wife, Mrs. Carmelina, who offered those present a magical moment: she taught us how to hand-knead the typical "pizzi salentini" (a type of pasta filled with zucchini, onion, olives, and cherry tomatoes), which we then ate throughout the evening! 😍
It's impossible to convey the wonderful and contagious atmosphere we experienced yesterday in words, videos, or photos...
Highly recommended: simply fabulous! 🥰
