The owners also stood out: after an initial missed call, they called us back personally and held our table for us. In particular, the great customer care from all the staff, owners and employees, was evident, especially in the service.

14/12/2025: The location is charming, the staff courteous and knowledgeable. We ordered a starter of beef tartare with burrata, garnished with truffle, and the off-menu dish was excellent fried cardoncelli mushrooms, all delicious. We then moved on to the main course: 1kg of Danish Florentine steak... it melted in your mouth. To finish, dessert was "zoccolette" with Nutella and pistachio. I highly recommend everything I've described, as shown in the attached photos. An experience worth repeating!!!

24/09/2025: I went to eat on Saturday evening with my cousin and her children, we had the fried food which was delicious like the ones our grandmothers used to make, the bruschetta was equally good and the mixed roast, everything was really excellent, the service was impeccable, the manager and the waiters were really kind... 21/08/2025: I stumbled upon Bar New Tandem in Cavallino almost by chance while looking for some sweets for my mother-in-law, who was taking them with her to Naples. It was around 9:00-9:30 in the morning, so a fairly normal time for breakfast, but upon entering, I immediately noticed that the display case, despite being very large, was almost empty: just a few pasticciottos and a few other sweets. I must admit that the initial impression wasn't the best, especially considering the place is quite well-known and well-reviewed online. Luckily, we managed to grab the last pasticciottos available, which we tried right away and took away. And I must say, the product itself is truly delicious: the crumbly pastry, the perfectly sweet cream, and a flavor that reveals the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal craftsmanship. This is precisely why it's even more disappointing not to have found a larger display case, because it's natural to think how unfortunate it would be to limit yourself to trying just a couple of desserts when the entire lineup is probably truly worth it. The prices are fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. All in all, I'd say the place is worth a visit, but perhaps it's best to go at a slightly later time than I did, when the sweets are fully stocked. If you happen to be passing through Cavallino, it's definitely worth stopping by and sampling their products, starting with the pasticciotto, which remains a guaranteed success.

19/12/2025: I ordered a tray of about ten pasticciotti to take to Venice. They were fantastic. The pastry was excellent, the filling exquisite, superb. When I return to Brindisi, I will definitely stop by your pastry shop.

20/11/2025: A café with excellent coffee service and fresh pastries, in a setting that isn't particularly elegant, but is overall tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and clean. It's unfortunate to say, but the service is rather lacking, with some staff (one in particular) feeling stressed and others working... at the bare minimum! The owner, who appears to be an expert, should make himself heard.

24/10/2025: A fairly enjoyable evening with friends. "Excellent" isn't the only reason we ended up at a karaoke night where you had to shout to speak 🤣 Welcoming atmosphere. A classic local trattoria, with local dairy products and wines. Professional and polite service. Very good appetizers, fantastic first courses. Spaghetti with seafood, penne all'arrabbiata, both delicious. Sliced ​​meat and side dishes cooked with love and dedication. Recommended for families and couples. It might seem like a "spartan" place, but it's not. It's family-run. The wait staff is polite and professional.
