02/08/2025: When I visit a place, I need to smell its aromas and flavors. Small local businesses are the best way to learn about the history of a short-chain product. Matteo, the owner of Mare e Monti, researches and offers a carefully selected selection of cheeses, stretching as far as the Daunia mountains, touching the Umbrian forest, or even just a few meters from his restaurant. He sifts through small dairies with one common denominator: white gold; milk that tastes of fresh forage, wild orchids, and wild herbs with their different flavors. The plating is simple, but with hazelnuts and almonds as a side dish. The platter of cured meats? Another journey to a land that breathes salt and tastes of the sea, artisanal Orsara prosciutto, capocollo, duck, lard, and salami, all absolutely amazing, and accompanied like in the best fairy tales, by a narrator who is never pedantic but rather in love with goodness and the right valorization of the territory. I tried the grilled lamb accompanied by a combination that surprised me: the zazziki sauce, simply divine and definitely worth the trip. Excellent value for money, as is their pizza, which they have always made (a family business). If you are looking for a "sweater-on-your-neck" fresh air even in August, climb up from Manfredonia to the mountain hamlet, take a deep breath... feel the rosemary creep into your mind, like the Mediterranean scrub that is predominant. Well done, the beer is another noteworthy selection. Keep up the good work, see you on the next trip.

11/08/2025: I discovered Pizzeria Alfo' by chance, while looking for pizza alla vampa in the Manfredonia area. Over time, I've had the opportunity to try almost all their specialties, and they're all delicious. To say it's the best pizzeria in Manfredonia wouldn't do it justice. The quality of the ingredients, the deliciousness of the pizzas and focaccias, and especially the DELICIOUS pizza with spit-roasted chicken and potatoes has kept me coming back for years. Highly recommended!

18/03/2025: Nulla da dire sulla qualità e quantità tutto molto buono con porzioni giuste ma..per me quello che conta e che mangino bene soprattutto i miei figli ma purtroppo così non è stato hanno portato una cotoletta di pollo (che tra l altro era una spinacina del supermercato ) patatine con sapore di pesce perché evidentemente friggono tutto con una friggitrice mi spiace perché come locale e carino ma hanno poca attenzione verso i piu piccoli

02/02/2025: I have no words, the name of the place says it all. I went there for the first time this afternoon, just taste the first dessert 🍰 truly a work of art, you would want to eat them all from first to last 🤤 it's truly a sin of gluttony 😀. I fully recommend it to you as I have an excellent taste for desserts and it was love at first sight.

11/12/2024: After buying a pistachio semifreddo I brought the dessert back inviting the pastry chef to check the stale taste. The refusal and indifference really shocked me.

15/08/2025: I'm sorry you can't give zero stars because the experience can only deserve that score. After an hour and a half of waiting for a panzerotto, I gave the receipt to another poor soul. Only in Manfredonia can you make money. Equip the establishment with frying machines, faster. At McDonald's they fry in 6 minutes, so it's not impossible...

08/08/2025: Our favorite food is the mini pizza. It's the perfect compromise because we enjoy a great pizza while staying light. There are many other delicacies at the counter. Fast service and plenty of tables. Recommended. Excellent.

05/04/2025: Good pizza, I didn't like the cut, small portion and tough, nervous meat, I'll be back to give it a second chance. Friendly staff, three stars because I asked for bread 3 times and ate the meat cold. Fair prices and a welcome cherry gift at the end. Two stars for the ambience, very loud, we couldn't talk to each other, we had a table next to us who were shouting instead of talking and no one said anything to them.

22/07/2025: No AC, it's not a restaurant but a bar, they offer max 8 dishes for lunch, we couldn't choose much from that. They have burgers, two types of pasta and some antipasti. There was no one when we came and the waiter still took ages to bring us water and coke.
