26/01/2026: OK, the best sushi spot in Sarasota, FL is no more... see my prior review history for location, sadly it's gone forever. Now, moving up a slot, is Utamaro Sushi Bar located downtown Sarasota. Been going here for years, always exceptional, now 100% the go to place in SRQ for sushi. Note this review is for take-out, holiday party at the office, everyone but the CEO loves sushi, but he stepped up and tried Yellow Tail, LOL, and loved the cooked orders. You won't be disappointed, please GO. Check out this spread of delish photos! Here we have: SUSHI = Hamachi, Bluefin, Uni, Sake, Scallop, Fatty Tuna. The only thing missing was Saba... I requested but somehow the request was denied LOL by ordering party (private joke). ROLLS = Manhattan, Flamingo, Seakosho, Dragon, Emperor, Spicy Tuna, Bang-Bang, Mexican Roll, Triple Tail, Eel, California.

14/01/2026: We have always had a go to sushi spot. But, tonight we wanted something closer to home. Utamaro exceeded our expectations! Quite possibly the freshest, best quality sushi we have had. Will be our new sushi spot! Thanks for providing such quality and service.

13/12/2025: Lived in Manfredonia for 5 years and hands down, this is my favorite gelato shop. Artiginale and high quality ingredients. Cherry is my favorite. Panettone here is also my favorite. Taking 2 pistachio panettones back to the states with me for Christmas. A must try for both!

11/03/2026: To celebrate my birthday, I relied on the excellent online reviews and chose La Locanda del Torrione. My expectations were very high, and fortunately, they were fully met. The atmosphere is welcoming in its simplicity, making you feel at home without too many frills. The food is authentic, traditional Gargano cuisine: high-quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and meticulously presented dishes that are also pleasing to the eye. The quality-price ratio is excellent, perfect for those seeking maximum value for their money. A genuine experience, highly recommended.

22/10/2025: I chose this restaurant for my daughter's confirmation. Every detail and request was taken care of and met beyond my expectations, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The fish was fresh, and every dish was a delight both to the eye and the palate. The staff was kind and helpful, especially Letizia, who was with me from the beginning, advising me on all my choices. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. We'll definitely be back. Thank you again.

27/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance during our vacation in Manfredonia and it was a pleasant discovery: great prices and good food. I absolutely recommend the meatballs. We also had the baked pasta and lasagna and were completely satisfied. When we return to Manfredonia, we'll definitely stop by again for takeout.

07/12/2025: A truly impeccable experience! The seafood appetizer was fabulous: fresh, plentiful, and full of authentic flavors. The wood-fired pizza was exquisite, fragrant, and generously topped, one of the best I've ever had. But what was truly amazing was the speed of service: everything arrived at the table in just a few minutes, from the pizzas to the main courses, without ever sacrificing quality. The management was impressive; everything ran smoothly with great efficiency and courtesy. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere... kudos to the staff! I'll definitely be back.

29/07/2025: Volevamo festeggiare con i parenti più stretti il nostro matrimonio civile. Abbiamo quindi scelto il Moody sia per la bellezza della location che per la centralità della posizione nel centro storico di Manfredonia. Il menù è molto ampio e spazia tra delizie di mare e prelibati tagli di carne. Per quanto riguarda il servizio possiamo dire che Francesco è stata a nostra disposizione esclusiva, seguendoci e consigliandoci nelle scelte. La cantina inoltre offre etichette importanti e meno importanti ma comunque di gran gusto e selezione. Che dire, i nostri ospiti sono rimasti estasiati e noi felici di aver scelto, per un giorno così importante, il Moody!

28/07/2025: Siamo andati in questo ristorante, in centro a Manfredonia, spinti dal fatto di vederlo al primo posto per recensioni e... confermo in toto il parere del web. Grazioso locale vicino al campanile, ambiente rilassante e personale molto cortese. Piatti di pesce eccezionali: noi abbiamo provato sia lo scoglio, sia l'antipasto sia il polpo ed era tutto ottimo. Anche la scelta dei vino molto ampia. Unico appunto la grigliata di carne: un po' povera (avrei evitato di servire l'hamburger). Prezzi commisurati alla qualità, superiore alla media di Manfredonia, ma inferiore a qualunque locale del Nord Italia.

The quality of the food is excellent and perfectly balanced with the price, a sign of a clear and mature vision. The atmosphere is healthy, well-maintained, and welcoming, conveying a genuine sense of well-being. A young but already solid project, worthy of attention and trust.
