08/01/2025: Found by chance, attracted by the reviews and the proximity to the hotel where we were staying, it was a very pleasant discovery that allowed us to end 2024 enjoying excellent food in a beautiful and familiar environment, thanks to the expert hands of the chef and the friendliness of Giuseppe the owner. Highly recommended

28/01/2025: A great experience; a stone's throw from the Giovinazzo seafront you can stop in this winery/restaurant which offers various choices including 3 tasting menus, a complete menu and appetizers including fried foods and burgers. Elegant and welcoming environment, furnished in a contemporary style. Excellent food: well-processed raw materials and modern plating. Traditional recipes that keep the seasonal and typical ingredients of the area intact, but with creative combinations. Punctual and discreet service. The SoFish tasting menu (€50/person) included a hot and a cold starter, a first course, a second course with side dish and dessert. Drinks excluded. I have to thank them publicly because they met all my dietary needs without any problems, indeed with care and attention, even varying the accompanying ingredients of some courses without any problem and with a smile. Definitely catering professionals...an experience to be repeated and given recommend both for a romantic dinner and for a trip out of town in Giovinazzo! P.s. they also gave us a tasting of 2 desserts in addition😊...a very welcome treat.

22/01/2025: Two stars only for location and kindness of the staff in the dining room. For the food, clear reservations about what was ordered. The meatballs were good while for the linguine with cuttlefish bottarga the flavor was very sour on a flat brothy base (nothing like the photo on the menu) no seafood flavour. When asked for explanations, the answer was that the agretto was due to the flavor of the bottarga I doubt that's the right answer. Furthermore, the second course ordered (beef diaphragm) was inedible due to its hardness (generally this type of meat is tasty and tender). What can I say, an unsatisfactory evening in terms of taste!!

03/03/2025: The octopus was cold and hard... very bad. The potatoes to go with it arrived 15 minutes later. The employee lifted plates when he had not yet finished eating I wouldn't recommend it

02/03/2025: Impreziosita dalla ottima posizione nel centro storico di Giovinazzo, l' Hostaria si distingue per raffinatezza delle portate e gentilezza del personale. Grande attenzione anche per le diverse esigenze alimentari (celiachia). La consiglierei a chiunque volesse festeggiare un momento importante in modo indimenticabile.

Youthful and female entrepreneurship that leaves nothing to chance Personally I can't wait to go back... also because I absolutely want to see the terrace overlooking the sea :D Really good

12/02/2025: I have been a customer of this place for over 20 years and, despite the distance of around 40 km, I always happily come back. The quality of the products is simply excellent, and each visit is an opportunity to taste extraordinary dishes and meet Lucia and Maurizio, two great professionals, as well as wonderful people. All immersed in the splendid setting of the historic center of Giovinazzo, which makes the experience even more special. Absolutely recommended!

11/02/2025: I was only in Giovinazzo for a short time and found this pizzeria by chance. Very nice and attentive staff. I had house-made green olives, a pizza (gluten-free), a glass of rosé, a water, a limoncello and an ice cream dessert with pistachios (highly recommended). Here you also have the opportunity to get many things gluten-free. Very good value for money, €35 for everything including tip. A small point deduction for the seating on the benches, but otherwise it was very good. Recommendation!!

26/01/2025: A nice pub with a wide choice of national craft beers. The room is beautiful with some walls and ceiling in stone. We ate some pinse, one porchetta and mushrooms (tasty and generously seasoned) and the other with meatballs with meat sauce (I was decidedly less satisfied, perhaps it was served late and the sauce had dried up?). The service was perhaps a little slow but could be improved.

02/01/2025: Very nice location, impeccable service, room decor not exactly premium but ok. All courses are well prepared and with excellent basic ingredients, however the result did not convince me on the palate, especially in some cases the use of spices seemed a bit excessive on the delicate fish-based flavours. The diners who were with me were however very satisfied... de gustibus. The cost would have been absolutely adequate if it hadn't been for the portions being a little too small. There is room for improvement but the overall experience is quite positive.
