07/04/2024: One of our worst restaurant experiences in all of our long travel lifetime, terrible organization, bad food, crappy wine and the worst customer service on the planet. First: my wife has fatal allergies to dairy and pork protein, it is somewhat hard to find restaurants where she can eat but we thought this would be one. So she ordered mushrooms, polenta and fries and I tried the 'fresh' scampi spaghettone. The spaghettone and the fries came, scampi were from the freezer (even if you put SOME efford into your kitchen, you can get fresh scampi on the market in Bari every day). 'Housewine' was the cheapest supermarket booze. My wife was waiting for her meals for over an hour, they never came (they obviously had served it to other costumers). Finally we decided to pay and leave, they had added her meals (which they had not served) on the bill. Long discussion as the restaurant refused to accept that my wife had not received her order. Finally they took those items from the check. No apologies, no 'scusi', nothing. When I told them (absolutely calmly) after I had paid, I would write according reviews, the owner became super angry and told us to leave. P.s.: the fact, that the owner lied in his response and wanted me to delete my review later on as he wrote this wasn't his restaurant tells everything about this place. My review IS about L'Osteria del Borgo Antico. We have been there on April 1st 2024 about 9 p.m. .

24/03/2024: The history of the panzerotto from Bari! It is certainly not a place that stands out for its aesthetics, it is a very normal pizzeria without great pretensions. Obviously those who go there know this, but they go there purely for the goodness of their panzerotti, in fact they are literally giants. Good dough, very thin and light, so as not to be heavy, obviously you may or may not like this. It's all a matter of taste. Seasonings normal. Staff quite helpful and friendly. Good speed of preparing dishes. The tables that you will find outside the restaurant are a salvation, you can use them for free by leaning on them and enjoying what you have taken. Forget about eating panzerotti in the car, they drip, use those sacrosanct tables haha!

07/04/2024: For a cost of more than €20 for the all you can eat it is not worth it. It is best to take the à la carte menu. I ate Wakame seaweed costing €4.90, sour, terrible. There was a fishy smell in the place, not a very ideal sign for a seafood restaurant. The food itself was good, perfect location and great service, a little disappointed with the food

04/04/2024: Il Cortigiano a Bari e' una certezza, un'istituzione. Ultimamente pero' e' diventato difficile sia potersi sedere in pace, perchè e' sempre stracolmo di gente e non si riesce nemmeno a parlare per il frastuono ( il locale ha una eco terribile ). E ovviamente i prezzi sono lievitati, se si devono spendere 8 euro per 2 cornetti e due espressini AL BANCONE. Inoltre trovo davvero sgarbato costringermi a pagare con carta di credito, perchè il conto era di 7,90 e io avevo spicci 7,80 ! Faccio la premessa, che sono un cliente che ha fatto colazione ogni santa domenica sempre li' al bancone, e credevo di valere 10 centesimi ... In ogni caso ci sta, ho pagato il conto come andava fatto. Ma onestamente non ci metto piu' piede, fa niente, ci rinuncio io.
