30/06/2025: I often come to Ristorante Amici Miei and every time it is a real pleasure. They always have excellent proposals for those who, like me, prefer vegetarian dishes: fresh, tasty and never banal. The menu manages to satisfy all palates with great variety and quality.
A special thanks to all the staff who make the experience even more pleasant, but especially to the super Betty, always kind, smiling and courteous. She is truly a person who makes the difference and who knows how to make you feel at home.
Highly recommended to those looking for a welcoming place to eat well in Peschiera del Garda!

06/07/2025: Lunch based on fish first courses, everything delicious, abundant and very good, it's really worth it. Polite and kind staff. We will definitely be back.
Back for the second time, this time meat-based dinner. Well it was a really nice and good dinner: delicious meat, excellent choice of wines. I hope to go back a third time so we can try the pizza.

22/07/2025: As guests at this restaurant, we were treated with a complete lack of respect and consideration. Despite having empty tables available, the staff refused to accommodate our larger group by arranging tables together or offering any alternative solution. When we requested assistance, we were dismissively told to simply wait in the shade, and this response was delivered in an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Due to this unacceptable treatment, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere rather than support an establishment that shows such disregard for its customers.
20/07/2025: Ein tolles und sehr gemütliches Restaurant mitten in Peschiera mit sehr leckerem Essen, nettem Personal und guten Preisen. Die Portionen sind groß, der Service ist zügig und sehr freundlich und man sitzt sehr romantisch mitten in der Stadt. Wir waren 2 x hier und kommen gerne wieder!

30/06/2025: Elegant and refined place, excellent fish dishes and quality of products as well as adequate proposal of the cellar, environment penalized by the air conditioning not present in all the rooms and by the service a little inexperienced and at times superficial. Suitable both for dinners in front of the sunset on the lake and for ceremonies with small-medium number of participants
29/06/2025: We stopped at this restaurant on the small Frassino lake on our way back from vacation. The place is enchanting, we ate on the terrace to enjoy a little breeze. The food was excellent and the staff was very kind..they have rooms...maybe next time we'll stop for a few days...the infinity pool...to try...

17/07/2025: Disappointing Dining Experience
While the restaurant's ambiance was appealing, the food, unfortunately, was a complete disaster and utterly unpresentable.
It was already disappointing that pizza wasn't offered at lunchtime. But there's nothing positive to say about what our group ordered instead:
The steak tasted like shoe leather – terribly thin, burnt, and utterly unpalatable.
The carbonara was completely flavorless and constantly needed to be salted just to make it edible.
The chicken was dry, and the "fried" vegetables were simply burnt.
The salad was an insult: just a few lettuce leaves on a plate that could only be somewhat improved with the balsamic vinegar provided on the table.
The fish was the only remotely acceptable dish, but could at best be described as "just okay."
All of this cost between €13 and €15 per person, and we also had to wait an hour and a half for our food. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

The pizza was okay, lasagna and bolognaise were bland (barely seasoned), and the burger wasn't good (dry).
The waiter was completely overwhelmed. The Parmesan and bread didn't arrive until the pasta was almost finished.
Next to us was a group of 20 guests, and there were many misunderstandings and incorrect, unordered food.
The playground is no longer in good condition. The outdoor seating consists of various uncomfortable garden chairs.

04/07/2025: According to the restaurant’s chef, this is a Caesar salad. Made from the freshest ingredients, allegedly. In reality, it looked like we weren’t the first ones to eat it.
After expressing our concerns, it was replaced with a Caprese salad — which was mediocre at best.
That’s not how we imagined Italian cuisine.

31/05/2025: We stayed for a week until this morning. Clean rooms, large balcony, very quiet air conditioning. Always clean pool. Excellent and quiet location. The food is excellent, I would only recommend a richer dinner buffet while breakfast is excellent. Kind and professional dining room staff. We had a great time. Well done
20/05/2025: Great location parking included is not a given at the lake.....spacious clean rooms.... swimming pool... breakfast where nothing is missing and when I say nothing it is so...... Spectacular!!!!!!!!! Kind professional.... Highly recommended!!!😍

24/07/2025: The pizza was average — the dough was dry and had too much flour on it, which made it less enjoyable. Drinks were fine, and prices seemed reasonable at first, but the €75 bill included an outrageous €18 service charge, which felt excessive. That said, the waitress was kind and friendly. Overall, the experience didn’t match the cost. Watch out with the scam with service charge.

21/07/2025: Delicious Italian food. Great atmosphere and beautiful location. Highly recommended.
There are a lot of negative reviews, here's an explanation:
1. You're in Italy, it's an Italian restaurant. You can eat your hamburger and fish and chips at home.
2. "The portion of pasta is too small." Again, you're in Italy. Pasta is a "primi" here, as Italians do, a small meal after which you can optionally have a meat or fish meal later in the evening. That's just the way the local culture is.
3. "They look away from you / want you gone." The location is one of the most touristy in northern Italy. There are thousands of tourists who want to eat. But this also makes the location very expensive and requires a lot of turnover to be profitable. It's understandable that they want you to make way when you're done. However, as long as you're still busy, they let you do what you want.
20/07/2025: Ok food but the staff is more busy getting new customers than taking care of the guests. Plus you get a surprise in the form of 6 Euro for Service as they call it (which is almost non-existent) Disappointing experience. If you can milk then you just do it…

03/07/2025: The €18 starter had plenty of room for improvement. The bread seemed to be from the day before.
02/07/2025: Unfortunately, the service here completely ruined what could’ve been a great experience.
Right at the entrance, we asked if we could sit outside — there were free tables and other guests already seated there — but were told no because it might rain (even though the sun was shining). Instead, they placed us inside next to a misting fan that was literally dripping water on us.
Meanwhile, we watched other guests being seated outside. When we asked again, the staff reluctantly agreed but made it clear it was an inconvenience for them. We even had to carry all our things to the new table ourselves.
The food and drinks were genuinely good, but the service was unprofessional for a place that positions itself as high-end. Plates were handed across the table instead of being served properly. One waiter even expected me to pass him my plate instead of walking over. When the bill came, it was handed to one of the women at the table, despite the men clearly asking for it — a small thing, but telling.
We ordered seafood and spent quite a bit here, but the zero-effort service made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Definitely not coming back.
