18/01/2026: Excellent and highly recommended

05/01/2026: We arrived for lunch at 2:00 PM, and even though it closed at 2:30 PM, the owner greeted us with great kindness and generosity, letting us enjoy lunch in peace, even though we finished around 4:00 PM. He then advised us on the best all-you-can-eat bigoli option for three people. We ordered four pans, which were served with truly excellent, freshly baked bread. Each one was better than the last, so much so that we ordered a fifth, which the owner kindly gave us. The portions were perfect—not too small, but not too overwhelming, which meant we didn't get full right away, but had room to sample as many flavors as possible. We ordered: Tortellini di Vareggio, Bigoli with venison ragù, Bigoli al pescatore (sausage, pecorino, cherry tomatoes, onion), Bigoli with cream of pumpkin and pancetta, and finally Bigoli with clams. The pasta is fresh, made in-house, and everything is cooked to order. Truly delicious, and the staff is friendly; we highly recommend it! We don't live in Verona, but if we were to pass through these parts again, we would definitely come back.

08/12/2025: I've been coming to Verona for work for several years now, and this pizzeria has become a regular stop. There are so many flavors to choose from, and luckily, since they serve pizza by the slice, you can experiment with different flavor combinations. You can eat in, thanks to the designated tables. The staff are always very friendly. The prices are very fair: average, around 10-13 euros per person, and you can get just the right amount of food and drink (personally, I even feel full).

23/08/2025: During a thunderstorm in Campofontana, tired of getting wet, we headed to Giazza for pizza. We'd reserved a half-hour in advance by phone. Once there, we descended the beautiful steps nestled in the landscape to reach Pizzeria Cimbra. It was moderately crowded, but there was plenty of seating outside under the portico. We ordered two pizzas, a drink, and a dessert. Everything was delicious. I recommend trying it at least once, both for the restaurant, which was once an Austro-Hungarian inn, and for the village, which, though small, is very quaint.

16/02/2026: We came yesterday, 15 of us, after the Verona Half Marathon, with a reservation at 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, service started about an hour later, with very slow orders and the dishes arriving. Considering the size of the restaurant and its proximity to the stadium, we would have expected better organization on such a predictable day. The delay caused inconvenience: some of us had to rush out to avoid missing the train. We left our tables at 3:30 PM. The food was decent, but requests made when ordering were not always honored. On a positive note, we were able to spend more time together!

16/02/2026: The pizza is excellent and the house wine is also good. I went there at a time when there were a lot of people, so for the food and my habits, the quality was excellent but the portions were small, but still recommended.
