04/02/2025: Characterized by a welcoming and at the same time elegant atmosphere, with chic furnishings and centerpieces with always fresh flowers, the Giardinetto restaurant is located in the center of Chiasso, easily reachable on foot from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to the customer and his needs. I was impressed by the fact that they remembered each diner's favorite dishes! The menu is very broad, suitable for all tastes and varies every day, ranging between different traditional Swiss and Italian dishes. From spaghetti tomato and basil to chicory salad, from beef tartare to raw prawns, it is literally impossible to find a dish that is not more than delicious! Due to its variety the menu is suitable for every palate, and it would be possible to eat here every day of the week without ever having to have the same dish twice. The desserts are also delicious, all handcrafted: I can undoubtedly define them as the best I have ever tried. Try the apple pie and for chocolate lovers the brownies; they won't disappoint you! If you pass through the Como area I recommend you stop and eat here, it will become a regular stop.

04/02/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant five years ago by chance, and since then, it’s become a must-visit every time I’m nearby. The food is absolutely delicious, the selection of dishes is extensive, and the menu changes daily, featuring Swiss traditional fare (the house specialities being the beef tartare and the roast chicken), all expertly prepared. There are always vegetarian options and pasta dishes available, making it perfect for families, business meetings, or even a romantic evening out. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations in both Italian and English. If you’re in the area, be sure to try the desserts – they’re homemade and truly deserve to be in a proper pâtisserie. The atmosphere is both elegant and welcoming. Highly recommended!

12/04/2025: Ja echt heerlijke pizza, rijk van smaak. Heeft een dunne bodem dus daar moet je wel van houden. Het eten kwam echt binnen 5 minuten. Service was snel en heel goed. De manager die in Amsterdam was geweest was ook ontzettend aardig en bood ons limoncello aan!

11/04/2025: Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo locale, ed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Eravamo un po’ intimoriti dalle recensioni, ma per fortuna non ci abbiamo dato peso:non abbiamo trovato assolutamente disorganizzazione, anzi i ragazzi in sala erano molto carini e veloci, anche se era sabato ed era tutto pieno. C’è stata un po’ di attesa, visto la sala piena.. ma nulla di imperdonabile, anzi.. come d’altronde avviene in tutti i posti ricercati! In altre parti d’Italia abbiamo spesso atteso anche più di un’ora per mangiar la pizza, e nessuno lá si lamentava.. probabilmente in Veneto c’è meno pazienza! In ogni caso, il servizio è stato ottimo, come i prodotti. Il mio compagno ha preso la tonda, ed era DAVVERO meglio di tante che mangiamo a Napoli, mentre io ho provato la tonda romana.. e me ne son innamorata! NE VALE DAVVERO LA PENA! anche il costo, non lo abbiamo trovato per nulla esagerato, in media con tutti i locali un po’ più ricercati della zona, soprattutto tenendo conto delle materie prime di altissima qualità.. che si sentono non solo alla prova del gusto, ma anche .. alla notte! Con zero sete,cosa assai rara passar una notte senza bere dopo aver cenato nelle pizzerie qua attorno. Ci torneremo SICURAMENTE.

10/04/2025: Prodotti sempre eccellenti, servizio addirittura migliorato in questi ultimi mesi: personale cortese, attento e solerte. Consigliata la prenotazione, perché locale molto gettonato, e spesso pieno.

25/03/2025: The waiter completely ignored us; he was primarily concerned with younger, female guests. Eventually, we were finally allowed to order, and after an hour and a half, we finally got something to eat. It wasn't what we had ordered, but that didn't matter to us.

30/03/2025: Sono anni che vado in questo ristorante ma, stasera sono rimasta delusa... Mia madre ordina una tagliata ,io una pizza mai arrivata!!!!,il ragazzo di sala ricciolino moro nonostante solleciti ha continuato fare i suoi affari apparecchiando le tavole,la figlia del titolare nonostante solleciti,risponde che nulla può fare,mi offre il dolce... Al Momento di pagare,mentre mi avvio all uscita,vedo il signor Gabriele che parla con il pizzaiolo della mia pizza e si mettono a ridere! In cassa il titolare insiste sul fatto che l ordine della pizza era stato fatto,ma io non l ho mai vista! Sempre il titolare chiama il signor Gabriele per spiegazioni, questi risponde che il biglietto era andato perso, quindi vuol dire che il personale di sala , nonostante solleciti,non si sono mai adoperati con il pizzaiolo di. Risolvere!!! Consapevole che visto la partita del Napoli,la sottoscritta non meritava attenzione, preso atto dell indifferenza e trattamento subito,nulla altro che posso fare , non andare più in questo locale , perché persona indesiderata!! Bastava dirlo!! Orribile essere derisi dal personale,ridendoti in faccia , facendoti sentire una cliente vecchia brontolona!! Con osservanza Schibuola Margherita 30 marzo 2025

08/03/2025: Oggi, la sera della festa della donna, io e la mia amica abbiamo deciso di mangiare in questa pizzeria. Siamo arrivate verso le 18:45. Abbiamo mangiato l’antipasto e il primo, ovviamente anche ordinato da bere. Poi abbiamo ordinato un dolce e il bis di Prosecco. Alle 20 la cameriera, evidentemente imbarazzata, ci ha chiesto di liberare il tavolo quando finiamo di bere. L’avviso arrivava direttamente dal titolare. Ci siamo sentite umiliate. Quando ho chiesto al titolare perché dovevamo “sloggiare” con modi assolutamente sgarbati e maleducati ha detto che aveva bisogno di liberare il tavolo. Proprio il nostro?? In un ristorante grande come una palestra. VERGOGNOSO. MAI PIÙ!

08/02/2025: Purchased on Deliveroo, I got this pizza because it wasn't very far from home. I have to say that it arrived still nice and warm. They put good food and lots (really lots!) of mozzarella on top! I will definitely buy it again.

07/01/2025: Welcoming environment, small but not too much, about 40 seats. Excellent pizza, one of the best of 2024 and I would say the costs are in line with what is consumed. I recommend booking 24 hours in advance.

03/03/2025: I don't know much about the rooms, so I'll give it 5 stars. The food servers' service is not that good. I don't know if it's because they're busy, but it's not that good. The location is near Lake Missouri, so it's easy to get there if you have a car. I'd like to recommend it because of the taste of the food + the price. Pizza and food are usually between 10 and 20 euros. It's pretty cheap for this area. However, dinner starts at 7 pm.

23/02/2025: The inn is in a beautiful position, practically on the lake and with a view of the Dolomites; our room was magnificently furnished, with style and taste, down to the smallest details, in the bathroom there was everything, hairdryer, soap, disposable slippers, in short everything was very nice, in the evening we had dinner in the inn's restaurant and ate very well, the pizza is also very good, apart from the owner who is quite grumpy and not very available for dialogue, the waiters are very friendly and quick. The only sore point is the breakfast. It can be found ready in the room, of course everything is well set up and very nice, definitely plenty of it, there is a kettle, filters for tea and herbal teas, sugar and everything you need to prepare something hot and, in the evening... it's definitely a pleasure to take advantage of it, excellent fresh fruit available, but the rest is uncommentable for the price you paid. Everything packaged, croissants and bread, everything packaged and only gluten-free products. We understand the explanation given to us, for not wanting to offer the customer a buffet breakfast, but it doesn't take much to organize a breakfast with some fresh, quality products. Also because, I repeat, the rooms are delightful and it's a shame not to be able to leave a positive review due to the truly mediocre breakfast. It's a shame, there are many solutions if you really don't want to organize a buffet or service breakfast and your inn deserves it.

10/09/2024: Lunch break scheduled here. A friend of mine and I had sautéed mussels in sauce, spicy just right. Having taken a first course each, I recommend the ginger-flavoured prawn fettuccine, delicate and light. Finally, tasty and soft grilled sausages. How can we not end with an amazing chef's cake! Fast and helpful service and very kind, I highly recommend it!

10/09/2024: Abbiamo avuto modo di provare sia cucina che pizzeria. Impasto e ingredienti della pizza buoni e freschi. Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti allo scoglio, fettuccine con i gamberi pistacchio e zenzero, poi a seguire le seppie alla griglia, pesce buono e saporito. Torta dello chef buonissima. Diffidate dalle cattive recensioni, noi ci siamo trovati bene.
