01/09/2024: Materie prime di evidente scarsa qualità, impasto senza gusto e senza sostanza. Una pizza dal gusto industriale e senza la minima ricerca e passione. Mi spiace lasciare questa recensione, ma nel 2024 si può veramente fare molto molto meglio.

23/04/2025: We pulled in to a not busy restaurant…. Great I thought. Well, no fillet steak option ( which is quite strange for a Italian )but still. We ordered a mixed grill, a gnocchi in basil and tomato sauce, a spaghetti in tomato sauce ( because lasagne was not possible although on the menu ) and a spaghetti carbonara, although the waiter said “ we don’t do that “ then after showing him the menu he said “ I guess we do “. I asked what was on the mixed grill and amongst other meat he said beef. No beef was on my plate… The carbonara was more crispy fat than pieces of bacon and the gnocchi was mixed with anything but what was on the menu. We were very hungry so we did our best and left…… Strangest thing is that, trip advisor, google etc say it’s not even open on the day we went. Very strange. I shall not be returning.

12/04/2025: Una delle peggiori esperienze mai fatte in un ristorante. Siamo andati in questo locale con degli amici e siamo rimasti tutti estremamente delusi. Il servizio è stato lentissimo e il personale incredibilmente scortese e svogliato. Abbiamo aspettato un’eternità per ricevere dei piatti che erano chiaramente composti da prodotti surgelati e di pessima qualità. Nessuno si è degnato di chiederci se fosse tutto di nostro gradimento. La ciliegina sulla torta? Ci hanno portato via il piatto per le cozze mentre stavamo ancora mangiando. Un gesto che dice tutto sull’attenzione (o meglio, la totale mancanza di attenzione) verso il cliente. Cibo mediocre, servizio pessimo, atmosfera fredda. Non lo consiglierò a nessuno. Una volta basta e avanza.

24/05/2025: ⚠️⚠️⚠️ To be avoided absolutely because they add €4.5 per person to the bill, of which €2.5 for "coperto" (this includes: napkins, serving, bread, cutlery, etc.), and the remaining €2 is "justified" by the Bangladeshi waiter as a "tourist tax". It was bragged that on weekends, the "tax" reaches €10 per person. A shameless lie obviously, because the tourist tax is paid at the hotel, not in restaurants, so it's an ILLEGAL(!!!) pretext to extract extra money from uninformed tourists. You can complain by notifying the Financial Guard and keeping the receipt. Otherwise, bad service, arrogant staff, no attention or kindness towards the consumer. Much contempt for tourists which is also reflected in the poor quality of the culinary dishes. Very bad experience!

14/06/2025: An absolute nightmare – never again from this hotel! We were disappointed right from the start: The room was in a terrible condition. On the first day, we discovered that there was no remote control for the air conditioning to turn it on or off, and it was constantly set to 25 degrees Celsius – with an outside temperature of over 28 degrees Celsius, this was simply unbearable! I am extremely sensitive to drafts – whether warm or cold – and quickly develop health problems with constant exposure to the air conditioning. We immediately contacted the provided phone number and were promised that a remote control would be delivered to our room immediately. However, after hours of nothing happened, we went to the reception in person. There, we were surprised to learn that there was no remote control at all, as the air conditioning was centrally controlled. We were promised that a technician would take care of it the next morning, as he had already finished work by then – this was supposedly noted. But the next evening, the problem remained unresolved. We went to reception again – and this time we were not only put off, but also given an extremely rude turnaround. The technician was supposedly on vacation and would be back the next day. And again: nothing happened! For three days, we were kept waiting, lied to, and completely abandoned. The nights were pure torture – we couldn't sleep a wink because we were practically lying in our own sweat. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the room itself was in shockingly poor condition: dirty, unhygienic, old, and completely run-down! The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed in months. The carpeted walls were so dusty that it was almost impossible to breathe – I had a constantly stuffy nose. The bathroom was a disgrace: When you showered, you stood in ankle-deep water because the drain was clogged. If our accommodation hadn't been booked, we would have preferred to move to another hotel immediately. There was no way we could relax. This stay was a complete disappointment – ​​dirty, loud, hot, disrespectful to guests, and absolutely not what you would expect from a booked stay. Never again from this hotel – a complete disaster from start to finish!

20/05/2025: We booked through Booking.com, a basic hotel that looked good and, above all, was reasonably priced for Venice!! The hotel was close to the Basilica of Santa Maria and the vaporetto, so great! However, the room had carpet (hello, allergies...) and the layout needs to be improved. The staff wasn't the most welcoming, breakfast was €12/person (very little choice), and the cold cuts looked like they'd been there for two days. I asked for a piece of fruit from the kitchen (I saw a full bowl), which was like asking for the moon (I should point out that there was no fruit on the buffet). I don't recommend breakfast AT ALL. Luckily, the city is charming, which makes up for it.

19/05/2025: Ho prenotato in anticipo una cena di lunedì, precisando che avevo un voucher di sconto ottenuto con Sky Extra. Prenotazione ore 21, al telefono tutto ok, confermato. All’arrivo, puntualissimi, il sedicente titolare ci dice in malo modo che il voucher (assolutamente in corso di validità e utilizzato in una delle sere consentite) non sarebbe stato accettato. Dopo breve insistenza, accettiamo la cosa, ma ci viene detto che sono in chiusura e non ci avrebbero serviti. Senza parole ce ne siamo andati…

02/06/2025: We really enjoyed our spaghetti with clams and seafood pasta - noodles were al dente and the sauces were great! We also ordered the sea bass but it was bland and had an odd texture. The attentive waiter seemed to pick up on this and want to mediate, but we didn’t want to make a fuss - so that’s on us! Overall a bit expensive but you get good portion sizes. Also a great location and has nice staff.

29/04/2025: A FUIR. PIEGE A TOURISTES. J'ai pu constater par moi même le manque de compétences de cet établissement. Une fois le pied dans cet établissement, la spirale de mauvaises surprises démarre. Service très expéditif, avec le pain posé d'office sur la table et fait le sourd d'oreille si on veut le signaler. Le plat une petite pizza de qualité très médiocre, mais mangeable. Une assiette, plutôt une poignée de spaghettis à la tomate avec 2 feuilles de basilic, sans aucun goût. Une fois terminé nos plats, hop on nous débarrasse, la facture arrive et hop on nous dégage. On refuse de nous laisser garder la facture, j'ai été plus rapide pour prendre la photo ( a la surprise du serveur) Et oui. Car ça va vite, très vite. Table très serrées, à peine de la place pour se déplacer. Avec une canne pas facile. J'aurais dû lire vos commentaires avant. Une machine à faire de l'argent. Un piège à touristes.

08/06/2025: Este restaurante disfruta de una vista cercana del emblemático Puente de Rialto, que probablemente es la razón por la que está tan ocupado como lo está. Nos dieron una mesa en la zona de estar exterior (que está cubierta por un dosel). Las mesas están muy juntas y estábamos en la segunda fila desde la calle. El servicio inicial de tomar nuestra orden de comidas y bebidas fue lo suficientemente rápido y luego se retiró. Mis espaguetis con pimienta estaban bien, sin embargo, mi esposa describió sus raviolis como sosos. Sentadas al otro lado del pasillo de nosotros había dos mujeres que parecían estar participando en una competición de fumadores, cada una de ellas encendiéndose tres veces en rápida sucesión. Fueron bastante abiertos sobre esto y no fue cuestionado por el personal. Unos metros detrás de nosotros otro cliente estaba fumando y en una esquina pero todavía muy cerca de otras mesas y clientes un hombre estaba disfrutando de un puro... . . Dudo que aquellos lo suficientemente desafortunados como para estar en la “zona de deriva” disfrutaran del humo del cigarro más de lo que apreciamos el humo del cigarrillo. Cuando un miembro del personal finalmente se acercó a preguntar si queríamos postre y nos trajo la cuenta cuando dijimos «no, gracias», sacamos el tema de que se permite fumar a las personas en las mesas en un espacio confinado (bien puede haber sido sentarse al aire libre pero había una copa baja y las mesas estaban todas muy juntas) , nos dijeron que esto está permitido en Italia ya que está «al aire libre». Un par en otra mesa junto a nosotros no estaba de acuerdo con lo que los tres o cuatro miembros estaban diciendo sobre el permiso de fumar en el restaurante. Mientras esto ocurría hice una investigación rápida que indicó que el personal no conocía la ley o estaba siendo un poco engañoso en lo que decían. Allí las discusiones se detuvieron inmediatamente cuando hablé en mi mejor italiano (no es genial, pero lo intento) y dije que la ley italiana dice 'no'. ¡Quizás malinterpreté lo que había leído, pero algo eventualmente tocó un acorde! Solo puedo darle a este restaurante dos estrellas y una de ellas es por la vista de ese maravilloso puente. Si no te importa aguantar ser un fumador pasivo en un espacio confinado, mientras tratas de comer una comida bastante ordinaria, entonces este puede ser el lugar para ti. Sin embargo, si te gusta que tu comida tenga un buen sabor y un aroma que no esté contaminado por el humo de cigarrillos o cigarros, entonces es mejor que busques en otro lugar. Quizás alguien con una comprensión mucho mayor de la ley italiana con respecto a fumar en lugares públicos (como restaurantes) podría iluminarme para que me haga saber si estoy en lo correcto o equivocado en mi interpretación de la ley.
