07/08/2023: It's not called that anymore. Now it is grandfather Francesco's tavern. We eat well. Honestly very limited menu. They no longer make gluten-free fried fish. Gluten free pizza yes and it was good. The other pizzas were also good but they absolutely need to change knives because they were difficult to cut. Another detail: prices are really too high...

17/03/2024: AVOID IT!!! Even though they told me NOT to go there, and having read some good reviews, I still wanted to try... what a disappointment and what a fool the two couples I had invited for a pizza!. We decide to take 3 "Tuscan tastings" (€12 each) TO BE SPLIT per couple... after a decent wait, 3 trays arrive containing 1 disc of insipid pre-cooked polenta with an unidentified mix of cream cheeses on top, half a slice of bread topped with cooked onion and a 10x10 cm square of puff pastry with perhaps black cabbage inside but with a fridge flavour... that's all!!! Then the pizza: large but very thin, arrives almost semi-cold, not good at all (undercooked) and poor in toppings.. Furthermore, I did not find the kindness expressed by others, because to my question if the starter was all there, the response was rather annoyed "what do you expect? It was for 1 person, not for 2". Finally, 2 euros cover charge for a paper napkin and a reusable plastic placemat... well, if this is a pizzeria, it's better to have a slice of bread at home...

16/03/2024: Starter Tuscan taste poor and disappointing in terms of quality... the pizza looked like music paper as it was thin, raw tomato on top and very little mozzarella. Not to return again

19/03/2024: The Piastre (Pistoia) is a surreal and fascinating place for the Liar Championship and especially for the LIARS. A restaurant that serves excellent fish on the mountain and real, home-made Amalfi specialties is in perfect harmony with the place. The restaurateurs are sweet and calm. Sincere (a rarity in the country) and present a simple menu with modesty, where the value for money is excellent. Amazing desserts and courtesy delicacies like in the past. I recommend the fish-based spaghetti al cartoccio.

28/10/2023: I gave two stars, for the commitment of the service, we took the Tuscan appetizer, for three, yes and no it was for one person, the polenta, without a crumb of salt, the tiramisu in a cappuccino cup, which in practice it was a chocolate, panna cotta, inedible, like drinking gelatin water, very spartan environment
