15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

22/09/2025: After two weeks in Tuscany, we had the most delicious pizza tonight. Very friendly service, who also spoke good English. I chose the Diego special pizza. Creamy and delicious. Delicious coffee afterward. Thank you.

08/09/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizza with traditional Campanian ingredients, such as salami, broccoli rabe, and mozzarella. Easy-to-digest dough and quality ingredients. Quick and friendly service. I recommend Pizza Margot. Three pizzas, water, and beer for €45 total. Reservations recommended on weekends.

01/10/2025: We found this pizzeria online while looking for gluten-free pizzas. The food was fantastic! I've never eaten such good gluten-free pizza! The crust was thin and crispy, simply perfect! I was a bit overwhelmed by the pizza selection; there were some unusual combinations and no familiar "pizza names" to be found. The waitress spoke English and helped us choose. I would go to Piombino again just for this pizzeria.

The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the tomato sauce was rich and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The cuisine combines tradition with a touch of innovation, a winning combination that ensures even the most demanding customers are satisfied. The dishes come out of the kitchen without long waits, and in terms of quality, they deserve top marks. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional, without ever being a burden to the customers. Highly recommended.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

06/10/2025: A nice place and excellent service, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The appetizers were made with good ingredients but presented in a sparse and incomplete way, the first courses were absolutely bland, and the desserts were barely adequate. However, the "Spiedone" (skewer) was a positive choice, as it was truly delicious. For three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, two side dishes (good), three desserts, half a liter of house wine, and three coffees, we spent €147. Despite the general increase in restaurant prices, you can eat much better for less.

26/09/2025: Volpe is my absolute favorite when it comes to exceptional Italian food. Masterfully cooked by Valerio and his team. The menu is truly Michelin-star quality. Super fresh ingredients, some of which are home-grown. This restaurant is THE insider tip in Tuscany. 03/09/2025: This is a MUST-visit! Excellent pizzas at an unbeatable price. Due to the high demand, there may be a long wait. It's definitely worth it. Limited dining is available. There are only a few tables. We were lucky and snagged a table before opening.

12/10/2025: I went for pizza with friends: the place is nice and there are plenty of seats inside. We all had pizza, which was average, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We also had some desserts and coffee and drinks for about twenty euros each. Recommended.
