03/09/2025: Historic pizzeria....I practically grew up with them....first Gisa's father, whom I never met, then Gisa and her husband, whom I met, then Angela and Giusy, Gisa's daughters....who today maintain the family tradition....in every way....both the positive aspects (the goodness of the products) and the negative ones (seize the moment or you'll never find anything left to eat)....

25/01/2026: To access this location, you have to go down a walkway designed, I assume, for wheelchairs, with no handrail or anything, very dangerous for the elderly or those wearing heels...
It was freezing cold. They sat us on the veranda, the tableware was all paper, all bags, in the time of Covid. I won't argue with the pizza because I haven't tried it, but it looked good. As for the food, apart from the pepperoni side dish, I have to say it was awful, awful, awful.
Of course, I didn't have much choice in Carloforte at the moment, since all the restaurants are closed during the off-peak season. However, if the few that remain worked a little better, they would have left me with good memories. I think that unfortunately, San Pietro Island is no longer in my future plans.

26/09/2025: In my opinion, the restaurant deserves more stars than the list here indicates. We got a table for lunch without a reservation, an hour before closing time. We ordered a mixed salad, spaghetti vongole, and pasticcio alla Carlofortina. We accompanied it with a light white wine, as recommended by the owner. The dishes were freshly prepared, and the aroma alone promised a great meal. The portions were truly plentiful. The value for money was good. However, I would like to point out that a low price shouldn't be the basis for a good meal. Much more important is the lasting taste experience. And for that, I say thank you very much.

25/09/2025: A small trattoria discovered by chance... the owner and the waiter were very kind, and recommended typical local dishes. The food was delicious, and the price was excellent. Recommended.

06/03/2025: A volte le esperienze negative sono utili. Da una cena da EOS ho imparato che in futuro dovrò’ stare alla larga da ristoranti come questo. Ambiente freddo e sciatto, con pareti ricoperte di compensato. Le cozze che sapevano di stagno e non di mare ed una pasta alle vongole che tutto aveva, tranne il gusto di fresco. In compenso, il servizio e’ disponibile e la proprietaria ha accolto molto educatamene le osservazioni sulla ‘qualità’ dei piatti. A saperlo avrei preso una pizza perche’ molti avventori sembravano gradirla, i prezzi sono modici.
Non ci tornerò mai piu’.
