28/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to report a plate of mussels that were small and dry (probably reheated several times) I ate it but they should have been sent back, then a fried food without infamy or praise.
Friendly service but a bit confusing...
I would say we will not return....

05/06/2025: A pearl on the Corso di Gallipoli: “Stella Marina”
Lunch was a journey through the scents and flavors of Salento. As a first course we tasted tagliolini al limone with purple shrimp and burrata: a very successful combination of the citrus freshness of the pasta, the sweetness and delicacy of the purple shrimp, and the creaminess of the burrata that enveloped everything in a symphony of flavor. A refined but perfectly balanced dish.
To follow, a sliced tuna served on a bed of rocket with fresh cherry tomatoes and a delicate balsamic glaze. The tuna, perfectly seared and tender when cut, released all the flavor of the sea. Careful presentation, genuine flavors.
To accompany everything, an excellent glass of local white wine, fresh and fragrant, perfect for enhancing the dishes.
Friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere and a central location make “Stella Marina” a must-visit for those looking for authentic and well-executed seafood cuisine in the heart of Gallipoli.
Highly recommended!

Happened for lunch (by mistake). Choice between two first courses and two cold second courses...
Pasta carbonara with courgettes, where there was not even one ingredient of carbonara, tasteless and made like that, just for the sake of it...
I order a plate of pasta, a beer and a slice of tart for €16, against the osterias or trattorias where you have more choice, the food is good and you have a first course, a second course with side dish plus water for €12/13...
Conclusion:
Next door there is a nice place that does kebab, it is definitely worth stopping there.
ANSWER:
If you are a bar, be a bar then!!!
If instead, you put up a sign for a hot food restaurant (at these prices not justified by the quality or the flavour), in my opinion you are a trap for unsuspecting passers-by.
It is true that taste is subjective, but a dish thrown there, just for the sake of it, remains the same wherever you go.
05/05/2025: Très bonne expérience , pizza bonne, rapide et pas chère, accueil chaleureux. J’ai fait une erreur de commande car le menu n’est pas traduit et je me suis retrouvée avec une pizza saucisses frites mais finalement, j’ai bien aimé!

16/07/2025: Terrible experience: incessant wait, unwelcoming, unprofessional, and unpresentable staff, and a banal, somewhat touristy location. Despite the arduous request, due to food intolerances, and the authorized wait, the dishes were served after an unbearably long time. Please make improvements, as this is an insult to Italian and Gallipoli culinary culture.
12/07/2025: The service was good. However, the food was completely inedible. They're a pizza restaurant, but the pizza wasn't good at all. The dough wasn't fully cooked. And the meatballs didn't even taste like meat.

22/05/2025: Come ogni anno ci fermiamo in questo posto per la gentilezza che ci colpisce nell accoglierci, ma questa volta siamo rimasti spiazzati per la bontà unica dei piatti,partiamo dagli antipasti che superavano ogni aspettativa, ai spaghetti alle cozze con un gusto unico e il tagliolini ai gamberoni che sembrava stessi masticando il mare, risotto veramente gustoso e ben lavorato, veramente tutto ottimo la frittura ben asciutta e croccante, complimenti al cameriere danilo che ci ha consigliato queste bontà e lasciati veramente esterrefatti! Grazie tramonto per questa esperienza unica siete grandi! A presto!

Un tavolo con una bella vista mare che ti inganna!!!
pesce surgelato e di terribile conservazione da sembrare plastica riciclata puzzolente! Abbiamo lasciato tutto nei piatti per quanto fosse immangiabile! Mai fatta un'esperienza del genere!
13/08/2024: Ho avuto la sfortuna di capitare in questo ristorante con amici settimana scorsa, abbiamo ordinato tutti e 4 delle pizze (3 margherite con patatine e una con salame piccante).
Dopo più di un'ora di attesa (a locate semi vuoto) arrivano le nostre pizze (palesemente surgelate), la mia in particolare aveva un gusto acido, tipico di un formaggio andato a male, dopo aver segnalato il problema al cameriere e chiesto di riportare indietro la pizza, torna dicendoci che non si trattava di mozzarella avariata ma (cito testualmente) "senti il sapore diverso perché abbiamo SBRICIOLATO sopra la tua pizza della burrata che era avanzata in cucina".
1) Credo di saper ben riconoscere un formaggio andato a male dal sapore della burrata
2) La burrata "sbriciolata" (?) non era un ingrediente della mia pizza, per cui anche se fosse, non avevo ordinato una pizza con burrata
Al momento del conto ovviamente la pizza non mi è stata accreditata ma il cameriere ha insistito su una presunta birra Ichnusa che mancava da pagare, dopo avergli ripetutamente segnalato che non è stata ordinata da noi, la mia esperienza si è conclusa con difficoltà nella digestione e reflusso acido per tutta la notte.
