20/10/2025: I knew the place, as it's a historic location in Grottammare. I returned, after a long time, on Thursday, for pizza with friends. I found the pizza excellent, as well as the arrosticini (which we decided to try). The place is cozy, intimate, and the atmosphere is quiet. Service is friendly and quick (but it was a weekday, so there were few customers). The menu is perhaps a bit too traditional; it doesn't offer original pizzas, but rather the more classic ones. I'll definitely be back.

25/10/2025: I'm sorry we didn't like the pizza. We don't know if it had problems with leavening and/or cooking, but we can't really call what we ate pizza; it was closer to a piadina, and then again... As for the rest, the sandwiches weren't anything special either. Lastly, the wait for our food was quite long. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.

05/10/2025: I can't give 0 stars, but I would if I could. I made a reservation over the phone this afternoon for two seats at 8:00 PM. The woman who took the reservation confirmed the two seats without adding any details. When we arrived promptly at 8:00 PM, the owner told us we should hurry up and eat and that he would make us leave at 9:00 PM because other customers were arriving. He didn't apologize, and his face was rude and arrogant. If I had been told this when I made the reservation, I would have definitely cancelled. I didn't argue, given my guest's presence, but I'd never experienced such rude treatment before. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

04/11/2025: I went to the Tana del lupo stand on Sunday, November 2nd, during the truffle festival in Acqualagna, and it was a terrible idea. We ordered two tagliatelle with white truffle for the modest sum of €30 each, served on a paper plate. They were cold, prepared at least 30 minutes earlier, and contained only a single, almost invisible sliver of white truffle. They were just as bad as they looked. Then we ordered a focaccia with herbs and sausage, and one with ham, both of which were also cold and burned. All of this was takeout, with no service. There was a mistake on the receipt for €2, which they refunded to us. A terrible experience, a terrible image for the restaurant, and a terrible image for the Acqualagna event.

18/11/2025: We didn't feel welcomed at all. The only friendly person was the guy in charge of the drinks. The pizza had a rubbery dough and was full of liquid, making it difficult to eat. The quality/price ratio was truly excessive.

18/11/2025: Excellent dishes, with a touch of Southern Italian cuisine! Excellent pizza, and very good desserts too.

13/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this place was truly disappointing. I arrived with high expectations, but from the very beginning, the staff didn't treat me properly. I felt little attention, zero friendliness, and an almost annoyed attitude toward customers. When I tried to ask for information, I was met with rudeness, as if I were a nuisance. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and made me feel completely out of place.

29/07/2025: The pizza is delicious, no doubt about it, with the same flavor as always, but I was surprised by the increase to €2.50 each, because I think it's really excessive. The price on the menu needs updating; it's still €2.20. The current girl at the counter is nice and friendly, just like the old lady was. It's true that she works, but it's also true that there's a huge profit. Anyway, a coffee costs €1.00/€1.10...not €1.50.

31/10/2025: Eating pizza here is like going to the supermarket and buying frozen pizza. In fact, some frozen pizzas are better and significantly cheaper. Anyone who says it's good probably hasn't had a decent pizza in their life. If you look at other reviews, they say the same thing.

24/10/2025: Very thin pizza with poor ingredients and undercooked. Furthermore, the pizza dough isn't the classic one, and it's not a variation, but simply a focaccia with the ingredients on top. Disappointing.

21/10/2025: Celebrating our daughter's birthday. We booked in advance. The pizza is always delicious. We set up a beautiful square table.

11/10/2025: Excellent pizza, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a family atmosphere. Both on Via Roma and near the Sferisterio, although the latter location is larger and offers seating for both pizza by the slice (benches at the entrance) and plated pizza in the charming dining room. I'm not giving it 5 stars because my favorite pizza is thick, while this one is medium, but it's top-notch!

01/10/2025: Given the imminent irritation from the restaurant manager after my review, I'm filling in the missing details: Ordered takeout on July 26, 2025. Six pizzas; decent pizzas, really, really small. The dough balls will weigh roughly 130-150g. For the price of a regular pizza, you'd expect at least 200-220g per pizza. Dear owner, learn to accept criticism and rethink your customer service methods. You're the only one frustrated here. We customers write reviews when we want, not when you decide!!! Make the dough balls bigger and you'll see the fear go away! Good luck.

11/08/2025: I've stopped for dinner at Pizzeria Itaca several times, and each time I've tried different dishes: from fried snacks to various types of pizza, each with unique toppings, often even gourmet. I've always been very satisfied with the dishes I've chosen. Furthermore, the team is very young and friendly: they're always friendly and always have a smile. For a good pizza or a quick, casual dinner, this is the place to be. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

04/11/2025: Discovered by chance on the road during a day trip, the interior space itself has potential that, in my opinion, isn't fully realized during the winter. In the summer, I think it's more enjoyable in the square outside, and the village of Monte Roberto, with its 13th-century castle walls, is worth admiring and visiting. The menu is simple (the paper version is basic, and definitely needs a graphic overhaul, but that's my professional bias) and the cuisine showcases local products and traditions. The pizza is delicious and well-seasoned. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. The rosemary crescia was truly excellent, while the platter I ordered had high expectations that weren't entirely met. Overall, a pleasant evening spent with food that wasn't entirely praiseworthy, but certainly not infamous.

01/10/2025: We did not have a reservation and they did not have the ability to seat us, so we took it to go. There were some available tables, but they were being held for the reservations, which makes perfect sense. I highly recommend that you make a reservation prior to going as pizza is best enjoyed hot and fresh. Putting aside the fact that it was takeout and cold by the time we got home, it was still a very enjoyable pizza and we would return for a seated dinner.
