12/01/2025: Really good pasta (we had the ragu and carbonara) and steak. A drive uphill on a narrow road and it’s easy to miss where to park. Extensive wine list. Really value for money, warm service and superb food.

09/02/2025: We stopped for lunch, very nice, warm and welcoming place. Several rooms, stone and wood, typical of the area. Attentive, kind, present and fast service. Excellent dishes, from the Valtellina tradition. Some gems not easily found in other places in the area. A wide choice of desserts, very good. Absolutely recommend!

18/01/2025: In the car, on the way to Livigno at this very moment... Found out that this iconic place is closed for a while now, really hope everyone from the staff is doing well. Bait dal Ghet was not only a cozy place to have some delicious food, but a full on experience - from waiting in what seemed to be an endless line to get in, through having a couple too many drinks while being in this line, to leaving with a huge smile and never without a digestivo shot. Saluti!

18/01/2025: Spartan but welcoming family place. Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Aperitif and bitters always offered by the house. Highly recommended.

24/01/2025: Stasera abbiamo prenotato per me e mio marito in questo ristorante, non posso recensire la qualità del servizio dato che dopo che abbiamo prenotato, hanno dato il nostro tavolo ad un’altra coppia e così ci siamo ritrovati senza tavolo. La loro soluzione? Invece di prendersi le loro responsabilità, perché sbagliare si può certo, potevano far alzare a chi hanno dato il tavolo per sbaglio, ma invece ci propongono di passare la nostra seratina in un tavolo con altre persone …. L’unica nota positiva della serata è che grazie all’ inaffidabilità del personale del ristorante, abbiamo trovato posto proprio vicino a loro, dove abbiamo trovato cordialità e buon cibo…..

24/01/2025: Sono stata in questa pizzeria per una cena di famiglia e ne sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. Abbiamo mangiato pizza e pizzoccheri con ingredienti di prima qualità. Locale molto accogliente e pulito. Personale molto cortese, solare e disponibile nei confronti del cliente. Posto super consigliato, ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

21/01/2025: We’ve arranged a table for a large group beforehand and when we arrived, the waiters pretended like no reservation was ever made. The guy we talked to acted surprised, but when we called the number we’ve used to make the reservation, his phone rang ;D. It’s rare to meet staff that is as unprofessional as this. Would not recommend!

27/01/2025: Sul consiglio dell’albergo abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante nella piazza pensando che forse era troppo “turistico “… invece è stata un ottima cena….particolarmente i pizzocheri molto buoni😋 ma anche i chiscioi. Prezzi onesti, servizio eccellente . Il proprietario (Gigi) ci ha trovato posto anche se non avevamo prenotato. Ho notato che li mangiavano le persone del posto 👍 Consiglio… Ci torneremo 🤩

15/01/2025: I have known this refuge for years: excellent traditional dishes from Valchiavenna, always welcoming and smiling people, wonderful views, many great activities for children, evening openings to dine and admire the stars. A splendid place to take a break in the middle of a summer walk or a day of skiing. A place where you will always feel welcomed and at home.

11/01/2025: Self service is fast and really delicious, something you often don't expect from a self service. We also bought a wine, no small selection. Friendly and helpful staff, only one flaw: the slops need to be reviewed. Tip: it would be nice to be able to place warmers on the tables intended for meals

30/01/2025: Conflicted whether to give 2 or 3 stars because the food was really average, but the aperol was good. Pizza was alright but dry, and the lasagna was so dry, it must’ve been a few days old:( such a shame because we saw many good reviews, but clearly that doesn’t mean a lot. Responding to your comment: maybe instead of responding in such arrogant way, you would take feedback from actual customers and improve. But perhaps only IN MY COUNTRY people treat clients’ opinions like an opportunity to improve :). You didn’t even comment the lasagna being old, so I assume it was 😂👌🏼

30/01/2025: Pizza was a 4/10. Lasagna was super dry like several days old and tasted like it was bought in a store. It was a 1/10.
