27/01/2026: A spectacular restaurant located on a sunny slope of Valtellina. What's striking is the attention to detail and the selection of top-quality products, along with sensational service. The atmosphere is delightful and the culinary experience is truly excellent (try the salt selection to believe it). Highly recommended.

12/01/2026: We were looking for a place that served meat and we stumbled upon this delightful surprise. Located in an old building, the restaurant is welcoming, with a wide selection of fine meats, top-quality wines, extremely competent service, and reasonable prices for what's on offer. Highly recommended. The only drawback is the parking, but that's not their fault; it's on a very narrow street.

12/02/2026: We ordered pizza during the week and were pleasantly surprised, so we'll be back. The pizza is very good, with a well-made and well-cooked dough, light and easy to digest. It's been a while since I've had a pizza like this. Recommended pizzeria.

06/03/2026: What can I say? The restaurant is near perfection for my tastes. The dishes are sophisticated, but not overdone, and still hold to tradition. The portions are generous, and the prices are slightly below the local average. This makes the quality/price ratio extremely advantageous. I had a farro and cavolo nero soup for my first course, which was very good. For my second course, a tagliata steak, which was exceptional and melted in my mouth. My wife ordered a tagliatelle alla bresaola parcel, with homemade pasta, and was thrilled. My son went for the classic pizzichero, which he loved. The desserts are also homemade and sublime. We ate last night and have booked for tonight too, we had such a great time. Congratulations. EDIT 1 It's been two years since my review. Two years in which we've eaten here at Moleta several times. I would have expected them to make a mistake at least once; it would have been natural. But no, everything is always perfect, with flavors that will send your palate into raptures. The chef's recommended dishes are constantly changing, so it's impossible to get bored; there's always something exciting to order. But be warned: Trattoria Moleta is so good it can be addictive.

25/12/2025: WHAT A HUGE HAIRCOMB! Two of us had lunch, and we were lured in by the photos of the highly acclaimed Saddle of Roe Deer, thinking they were a minimum portion for two people: €27 per person with only potatoes on the side... it might have been okay looking at the photos, but the reality was quite different: 80-90g of meat PER PERSON for €27 comes to a price of €270 per kg... have you ever paid that much for a Florentine steak?! THIS IS MADNESS. And the potatoes were awful, too. It's a shame because the rest of the food was quite good, especially the taroz. By the end, my stomach was in knots. Otherwise, the prices are pretty average, and the service is excellent, except for the fact that they sat us down at the beginning and then forgot about us (that's the fault of the person who showed us to the table, who didn't tell anyone). For fairness and to respect the customer's wallet, I recommend including the price per 100g on the menu. We are not all rich and we earn our money hard.

23/12/2025: Beautiful place, with a truly welcoming, family atmosphere. We really appreciated that the menu includes both traditional valley dishes, beautifully prepared, and original dishes based on local ingredients. The wine list is nothing short of remarkable. Dining on the veranda overlooking the valley is particularly lovely.

27/01/2026: The restaurant-pizzeria is very welcoming and the staff is very friendly. They have a nice selection of pizzas. They're varied and the delivery times are also quite fast. The only flaw is the lack of some dishes like pasta or meat... That's why I gave it four stars... If it becomes more complete in the future, I'll definitely give it five. As for the quality of the products, it's good and manages to satisfy all tastes given the flexibility in the composition of the dishes... I recommend it.

03/03/2026: We ordered the Tomahawk steak and Château Briand medium rare. The meat was incredibly tender. The presentation was exquisite! We'll definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant to all meat lovers.

01/03/2026: Traditional dishes, but not limited to them, range from pizzoccheri to fish-based pasta dishes, as well as excellent pizzas. Impeccable service. Pizzoccheri: the best in Livigno. Quick service, attention to detail.

18/11/2025: We arrived at a bad time for lunch... in the sense that they were closing the kitchen... the very friendly chef finally decided to let us eat only if we were happy with what was left... the service was fast and the waitress was very kind. The lunch was excellent, based on typical dishes. If we return to that area, I think we'll definitely go back.

04/10/2025: Closed - unfortunately, no more restaurant! One less quaint restaurant in Livigno.

16/09/2025: Hopefully it will reopen! We've been there several times on vacation, and it's always been a great experience. Livigno is definitely missing a place like this! :'(

08/03/2026: An excellent restaurant. After eating there several times, I must say I've never been disappointed by the dishes, which are always delicious and beautifully presented, and by the fast, friendly service. Decent portions and top-quality ingredients, both in the kitchen and the pizzeria.

27/02/2026: We randomly stopped here on a trip back from Switzerland, but found the food to be amazing! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in Italy! Make sure you order the “gourmet“ pizzas, but everything on the menu, including the pastas, are also excellent.
