I don't want to comment too much on the quality of the food, which is a personal preference, but it certainly didn't meet my tastes. The prices were too high for the type of cuisine, which has high ambitions but fails, I'm sorry to say. The setting, however, was beautiful. The view was breathtaking.

22/06/2026: A place with an enchanting view, a wonderful atmosphere, and excellent, welcoming service! However, we were forced to opt for pizza because the restaurant options weren't at all interesting. The pizza at Padellino is very good, but I can find it elsewhere. Classic pizza is average.

05/06/2026: Not far from the Certosa di Pavia, a beautiful, clean, and bright restaurant. The staff and owner are friendly and quick. Excellent food, generous and delicious portions. The pizzas are huge and thin, but we'll try them next time: the dough, served as a complimentary appetizer before the meal, is truly delicious. Both the meat and fish are high-quality. The prices are more than reasonable. The house wine is very pleasant. We'll be back.

The appetizers opened the experience with great elegance: the shrimp salad with crispy artichokes stood out for its freshness and contrasting textures, while the crispy egg on creamed asparagus won over with its delicacy and harmony. The walnut biscuit with goat's cheese and peach mousse in balsamic vinegar was also surprising, an original combination, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. Among the first courses, the risotto with shrimp, asparagus, and Piedmont hazelnuts was a refined blend of flavors and aromas, impeccably creamed. The fresh pasta rolls filled with ricotta and artichokes, accompanied by strips of bresaola, offered a more enveloping and traditional touch, executed with great skill. The main courses confirmed the attention to quality ingredients: the calamari with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives, served with crusty bread, was light yet rich in flavor. The roast veal, accompanied by French-style peas and potato flans, stood out for its tenderness and flavor, providing a deeply satisfying savory finish. To conclude, a delicate and fresh dessert: the berry cheesecakes, perfect for ending the meal with a sweet yet subtle note. An Easter menu curated down to the smallest detail, showcasing seasonal ingredients and sophisticated pairings. Chef Luca once again demonstrates his ability to combine tradition and innovation, creating a memorable culinary experience.

17/03/2026: Coming here is like visiting relatives; the owners are delightful and very kind, and if possible, they're happy to stop for a chat, leaving you with a pleasant memory. The delivery service is excellent, but you can also pick up your pizza or eat it in, as there are two or three tables. The pizza is truly excellent and delicious, with an excellent dough. Highly recommended.

28/05/2026: I'll start by saying that, as a sales representative, I travel for work and stop for lunch 8-10 times a month. I'm very impressed with the excellent food, the location, and, to some extent, the hospitality of some of their employees (waiters). However, I must highlight an unfortunate negative aspect regarding a waitress who, at the cash register, rudely refused my request to include a cover charge on the bill for a set menu even though there were two people present. I'm also very pleased with the fact that when I asked her very kind colleague, or perhaps the owner, they never had any problem with me doing this. I don't think I asked for anything special! I think a place like yours, even if it's always busy, can't afford the luxury of losing a customer who, in addition to stopping by for lunch for work, also comes with family or friends. There are three other restaurants of equal quality in your area that will be considered. I'm sure you won't care much about my choice, but given the current economic climate, I believe you should never throw anything away, especially for frivolous reasons like mine.
