In a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, an original menu awaits us, featuring top-quality ingredients, pizzas that express the true passion the owners cultivate with love for their work. It was a true pleasure to discover a slice of authentic Sardinia in the heart of Pavia. 08/06/2025: Discovered by my son because it is relatively close to the Aquae campus swimming pool. Pizzas of various flavors, good dough. Helpful staff.

05/08/2025: Very large place, with space both inside and out, and above all, very cool. I went for lunch and had paella, about 20 people. Very good food. I recommend it.

27/07/2025: I've been several times and have always had a great experience! Excellent quality and fresh fish, highly recommended.

20/07/2025: Second time I've parked at the station and walked here (French driver). The food is very good and the welcome is warm. Nothing to complain about. I recommend it and will come back as soon as possible.

13/05/2025: Sicuramente, sono stato parecchie volte qui, e la locazione, è meraviglioso. Devo dire, che anche il menù fisso, a soli 13 euro, è impareggiabile. Come primo, tortiglioni all'arrabbiata. Il sugo, una vera delizia, è all'onda, cioe, la pasta rimane meravigliosa, senza incollarlo. Il secondo, che ho scelto, una braciola con patatina fritte. Le patatine più buone che abbia mai mangiato. E la braciola? Eccellente, fatta alla piastra, sembra chev" TI PARLI ", e dice, " MANGIAMI ". Secondo me " ALLE GROTTE DI ARES ", è un " LUOGO MAGICO ", dove le persone oltre a mangiare, apprezzano una cucina " CASALINGA " che " RARAMENTE SIBTROVA. E che dire della pizza? La pizza è " FANTASTICA ". Tutte le volte, Alban, il cuoco, mette " LA SUA MAGIA NELL'IMPASTO ", è la pizza, " TE LA DIVORI " . Devo dire che " ALLE GROTTE DI ARES ", è un locale " MAGICO ". dove le persone si ritrovano, e trovano un luogo di " PACE E TRANQUILLITÀ ". E il prezzo? 25/07/2025: Nothing to do with Neapolitan pizza, the dough is good overall, but they only put the bare minimum on top, so it's very digestible.

24/07/2025: The sausage and broccoli rabe pizza was truly excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly.

10/08/2025: I've only been to the restaurant. The service is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The menu offers many options, perhaps even too many. The first courses are the strong points, while the fish-based second courses feature a lot of defrosted products (obviously declared).

12/07/2025: A very good place to eat, completely homemade food, exceptional value for money. In a prime location in Pavia's main square, the service is unbeatable. If you want truly Italian food, I recommend it to all travelers.

23/07/2025: Nice place, excellent food, but we had a rude and unfriendly waitress. I know it's hard working with people and working on weekends—I do it too—but you can't just be annoyed at everything. Anyway, I'll definitely be back for the fish because it was excellent, hoping not to be served by the same waitress... 😉

04/06/2025: Appena posso mi regalo un pranzo od una cena in questo locale dove mi sento come a casa. Da poco ho scoperto che i salumi ed il vino sono prodotti dal titolare cosi come tutte le altre preparazioni sono freschissimi e le pizze sono buone anche se portate a casa.

13/08/2025: Da Giulio is also one of the best places for celiacs: they know exactly what it means and make you feel at ease. We had mushroom risotto, probably the best ever: creamy, fragrant, and with the freshest mushrooms. Congratulations!
