21/11/2025: I was on the pizza tour and I have to say the experience was amazing from start to finish. The pizzas arrive in a constant flow, hot, varied, and full of flavor: from timeless classics to more creative options. Light dough, fresh ingredients, and that feeling of "OK, I want another slice" that never leaves you. But the real highlight of the evening was Depo, the waiter. Professional, friendly without being intrusive, and incredibly quick. He knew how to read the table with impressive ease: always there at the right time, always smiling, always ready to recommend or bring a new slice "you MUST try this one." Service like this really makes the difference. You can tell when someone loves their job, and Depo shows it in every way. In short: excellent pizza, a pleasant atmosphere, and an award-worthy Alessandro. I will definitely be back—and I recommend him without hesitation!

03/12/2025: Dinner with friends from work, including one with celiac disease – hence the choice. Fortunately, this restaurant's standard of gluten-free dining is very high – no problems. The pizzas were very tasty and the pasta was excellent.

09/11/2025: I often come here for lunch with colleagues or even alone. They offer friendly and good service, a truly thoughtful menu, and generous portions. The daily menu beats all others in terms of quality, quantity, and price, considering it's still a restaurant.

30/11/2025: Last night we went to a restaurant, the service was fast but the food was inedible. The grilled vegetables were raw and cold, the courgette flowers were left alone and fried in obviously old oil, the fruit was hard and flavourless, the pizzas were cold and dry, like frozen ones, the bread was mouldy, the bill was €173 for 7 people. What can I say?

22/11/2025: I returned to Al Porticciolo after a year. The location remains truly exceptional, practically on the lakeshore. The service has improved significantly, with the staff even more helpful and competent. The menu is even more extensive, the dishes beautiful to look at, but above all, delicious to taste. These are ancient dishes revisited with a modern twist. The desserts are also truly delicious; you can tell the people behind them are skilled, passionate, and use excellent products. I highly recommend it.

15/11/2025: I confess: I was supposed to go to the trattoria next door, but it was closed, and after a five-hour drive, I was so hungry I couldn't get back in the car. I'm so grateful to the owner of the trattoria for deciding to go on vacation because I discovered this place, which is definitely worth a second visit. I wasn't thrilled with the fried octopus, but the pasta, ladies and gentlemen, was exceptional. Spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams were perfect for mopping up the pasta. The Gragnano pasta was cooked perfectly; after all, the owners (if I'm not mistaken) are from Campania and don't let themselves be influenced by the tastes of German tourists who prefer overcooked pasta. 😜 Also a mention for the attentive service and the guy who served us, who was super kind.

03/10/2025: I ordered a pizza with grilled zucchini: the zucchini was missing (three tiny pieces cut with an invisible potato peeler), the mozzarella tasted like chewing gum, and the fries were hot but dry after 20 minutes. It was different before the renovations.

17/08/2025: Locale decisamente eccelso con ampi spazi per l'intrattenimento dei clienti, personale ricettivo impeccabile. Pizza eccelsa con kebab, altri gusti variano a seconda del gusto e del prezzo.

31/10/2025: Change of management. I ordered a second course, rabbit, which was too salty and the meat tasted bad. The grilled vegetables were good. There was no bread. I gave three breadsticks. I don't recommend it, especially considering the price. The previous management was better.

27/10/2025: We went there for a business lunch. What can I say? Excellent place! Very good food, the manager and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. The only flaw was the coffee; according to expert roasters, the coffee was under-grammed at 4.5g, when a good restaurant coffee requires a gram of 6.5 to 8.5g, having taken care of the evening maintenance and cleaning of the coffee machine.
