09/10/2025: I hate to change this review, but the pizzas have gotten really bad. Inedible. The service is nonexistent, and the staff is no longer welcoming. A terrible experience, 2 out of 2.

29/08/2025: The pizza arrived cold (5 km away). My pizza was burnt on top and raw on the bottom. I forgot about it. I ordered a pizza with (very few) raw chips, which tasted like oil. I'm attaching a photo.

14/10/2025: Warm welcome, even when the establishment is full. The selection is limited enough to ensure that nothing will be frozen, but wide enough to find what you're looking for. There were five of us who, three times, enjoyed the chef's skill and the kindness of the charming waitress. Not one of our dishes disappointed us, quite the opposite! The wine list, like the food selection, wasn't unlimited, but everything was good, especially the Lunae Rosso! In short, a very friendly establishment, like the owner and his staff.

25/08/2025: I arrived at Bocca di Magra with my daughter on my motorbike. After showing her the river mouth and the moorings, we stopped here because it reminded us of home. We had spaghetti with clams, a salmon steak with vegetables, and a cheesecake. The dishes were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a light breeze. We had a wonderful time.

29/07/2025: Ordered 2 baby pizzas, 1 Margherita, and a focaccia, paid for, 3 arrived, called back and reported that they resent the missing one. I'll start by saying that the three had already arrived late. Terrible quality, both in delivery and in the pizzas. I will never, ever order from this pizzeria again. I had to give one star otherwise I wouldn't have published the review, but for me it's worth 0 stars.

22/07/2025: A good place for takeout pizza. The staff are very knowledgeable and able to handle large crowds. The pizza, in my opinion, is among the best in La Spezia. I'm happy to live nearby.

09/09/2025: It could have been a good place for a quick snack if only the girl had paid a little more attention to the customers instead of chatting with the pizza chef. Slices of pizza and farinata were served cold without asking if they wanted them reheated.

18/08/2025: A very simple atmosphere, a good selection of pizzas, and reasonable prices. For those who aren't regulars, it might be difficult to find at first glance, as it's on the first floor and reached by a flight of stairs that aren't particularly obvious.

The worst: the waiter was extremely rude, didn't even say hello and seemed reluctant to do his job. When I politely asked to replace a Coke can with a broken tab, he told me "there's nothing I can do" — while other restaurants change the can without a problem. I had to open it with a knife, which was dangerous. Overall, bad experience — would not recommend. We were very disappointed with our meal at La Pitonetta. The prices are high for the quality — the pizzas were completely bland. The worst thing: the waiter was extremely rude, he didn't even answer the greeting and seemed to work against his will. 22/10/2025: Me and my wife got two different dishes, Pasta carbonara and Seafood salad. My carbonara was overcooked and the seafood was frozen, microwaved and just put on the plate. The waiter asked us how the food was and I told her about the pasta, saying that it still had a good taste because I didn't want to be rude. She said that Carbonara is not specific to the region and if we want to eat good Carbonara we should go to Rome. How about you stop making food that you don't know how to make? I should also mention that we ordered this food because the focaccia on display was looking horrible. I wish you the best, close shop or change the whole staff.

03/10/2025: I didn't eat here, but getting on in age I found myself in the embarrassing situation of a desperate need to use a toilet. The restaurant was virtually empty when I made my request. A young girl turned me down , three times despite my pleas . 🥺 . Luckily I managed to get to the next restaurant. A very bad experience

26/07/2025: Ristorante pizzeria in una via un po fuori dal centro di monterosso con un menù a base di pesce e qualche altro piatto ed è pure pizzeria. Ho mangiato una insalata di polipo eccezionale gustosa e abbondante accompagnata da una vellutata di patate buonissima. Poi trofie con pesto e patate veramente buone. Peccato per le cozze ripiene da cui mi aspettavo di più in quanto si sentiva solo il ripieno molto abbondante e le cozze così sono sparite. Peccato perché avrei dato volentieri il punteggio più alto Servizio puntuale e cordiale. Prezzi nella media per queste località

29/07/2025: Amo "La Lucciola", perché questo piccolo ristorante, anche se di fronte al mare, è un po' distante dalla zona turistica. Uno spazio confinato nella città vecchia, quindi è un buon posto se volete una pizza degna di questo nome. Il gorgonzola hummm! Una calda accoglienza, pulito e con un certo fascino. (L'espresso è a 2 euro!).

21/07/2025: Tolles Restaurant mit sehr gutem regionalen Essen und ausgezeichnetem Wein. Abzüge gibt es nur für die etwas magere Dessert-Karte und den manchmal etwas langsamen Service.

14/10/2025: I ordered two pizzas with fries at 7 PM, and they arrived at 8:30 PM, costing me €16. They even stained my table with that sauce that made me want to vomit, and I got heartburn. I couldn't finish it. The dough was rubbery and burnt, and the sauce was sour. Disgusting.

04/10/2025: One Saturday evening, I ordered a takeout pizza with two slices of farinata and had to wait about an hour to pick it up, which seems like an excessive amount of time. The pizza was disappointing: rubbery dough, chips on top that were soft as if boiled, and a burnt bottom. The farinata was also tasteless, dry, and soggy. Furthermore, there was a sign on the counter that read, "If you're in a hurry, tie it outside," which honestly made me feel cheated while I waited. A bad experience, I won't be returning.
