14/01/2026: Beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the Levanto sea, very professional service, perhaps even too much so... we ate very good pizza and fish-based first courses, pleasant wine by the glass, prices in line with the tourist area.
03/12/2025: This time, only pizza, which was really good. The beer was excellent, especially the red one. The service was always quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

12/03/2026: We had dinner 2 times out of 4 nights stay. The grilled seabass was my favourite dish. Had seafood risotto and seafood spaghetti both were also very fresh and yummy.

12/03/2026: A trattoria of a kind that's becoming increasingly rare. Nestled in the Apennine mountains, near an old partisan road, they serve generous portions of top-quality meat (tagliata) with gratinated potatoes (€20), preceded by a selection of sracchino appetizers with grilled vegetables, salami, ham, and baked Ligurian stracchino cheese, all accompanied by wonderful focaccia. The simple decor is more than compensated for by the friendly owner. A truly worthwhile and refreshing escape from the coast.

05/03/2026: They offer gluten-free sandwiches and pizzas, which are very good! However, the place is incredibly noisy, even with just a few people.
03/03/2026: Exorbitant price for two simple takeout pizzas. A Margherita and a prosciutto, mascarpone, arugula, and parmesan for €25. Two normal pizzas, not particularly good. I repeat, takeout. As if we were in Venice.

03/01/2026: A simple takeout pizzeria, but with a great space for indoor dining in the winter and outdoor seating in the summer. Inside, they offer a wide selection of pizzas and a few other items.
The staff is friendly, and the pizza is thin-crust.
The four stars are for a "takeout pizzeria," not a restaurant.
21/11/2025: Tasty and easy-to-digest dough, flavorful tomatoes, and congratulations on the 360-degree attention to detail. For a takeout pizzeria, it still has a spacious, very comfortable, and clean seating area.
Fantastic value for money.

17/02/2026: As non-italian, I was really surprised how Italians enjoy their lunch. The place is very busy, meals are probably Italian standard. It was very tasty for a reasonable price. Finally, a coffee at the bar as you go is the top :)

08/03/2026: The effort is there, and it must be acknowledged, the quality of the raw materials is excellent, but too much meat on the fire (takeaway, seafood menu, meat menu, sandwich shop, pizzeria) inevitably leaves one dissatisfied. It's a real shame.
31/01/2026: Beautiful veranda with wooden roof. The best panigacci I've ever eaten, both dried and boiled! A must-have for the future.

10/03/2026: We lived in Monterosso and traveled all Chonkwe Terra looking for calzone. And when we failed we came to the Smorfia.
That two calzones were best pizzas in the world!
Yes, people is passing by. But we forgot of that after glass of wine.

23/11/2025: For several years now, every time I go to Sarzana, I make a regular stop at this place. The pizza, and not only that, is spectacular. In particular, they use soy-based doughs, but also aloe, which are very light and very digestible. They have a huge selection and often make special versions dedicated to particular products, some seasonal, like fresh porcini mushrooms or caramelized onions. The farinata and desserts, many of which are homemade, are also excellent. A real must-try.

27/10/2025: Ely has been our "pizza night" place for years and we really enjoy it. Occasionally we have other things and this year we had one of their pasta daily specials, a ravioli perhaps with truffle and burrata (sorry it was 1 1/2 months ago)……omg, it was so amazing. Though it is no longer on the menu, we also appreciated them making the mussels in white wine and lemon.
