18/08/2024: Saturday in August, a smiling and ready staff, we ate outdoors. Even though the place was full, the waiting times were fair. The pins are delicious and the right size to fill but not weigh you down. I took the Portofino, which was particularly good. I had been missing for a while, but I was happy to be back. Ah, I took the opportunity to leave my car at home and take advantage of public transport, because the Sant'Anna Funicular arrives there, which you can take from Portello, near the pharmacy. P.S. 06/07/2024: A friend of mine and I had dinner at an outdoor table under a covered terrace of this restaurant located in Genoa Foce which has several TVs both outdoors and indoors. We ate a recco-style focaccia: pizzatella with tomato, stracchino, zola and sausage and then a double Chianina hamburger on a plate with french fries. We were very satisfied with the two delicious abundant dishes while the lemon sorbet seemed too sweet. Welcoming, competent, friendly staff, attentive service even if a little slow and good prices.

14/07/2024: Oggi siamo stati in 3 a pranzo in questo ristorante. Ottima accoglienza. Portate sia di terra che di mare. Noi abbiamo preso piatti differenti per assaggiare il più possibile le loro specialità. Abbiamo preso i crostoni di pane con stracciatella e acciughe, come antipasto buonissimo, la nostra amica non ama i formaggi ed ha preso prosciutto e melone. Poi lei paella, sembrava proprio fatta in Spagna, io gnocchetti al Castelmagno e speck, lasciano un retrogusto molto piacevole, poi il top dei top, mio marito i taglierini all'astice. Buonissimi. Bisogna anche lodare la simpatia e la professionalità dei professionisti. Ho notato che a loro tutti interessa la soddisfazione dei clienti. Il signor Gianni è stato anche molto onesto, quando abbiamo fatto la comanda volevamo ordinare tutto il pasto ma ci ha invece consigliato di aspettare ad ordinare i secondi poiché essendo le porzioni molto generose rischiavamo poi di non mangiare il secondo. Cosa che si è rivelata vera!!! I dolci poi, una vasta scelta, impossibile rinunciare. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo portando con noi i nostri parenti che vengono a trovarci da tutta Italia. 12/08/2024: Ci siamo finiti perché la pizzeria dove prendiamo di solito le pizze da asporto era chiusa. Premetto che avevo intenzione di mangiare farinata e non pizza ed abbiamo scelto la pizzeria alternativa proprio controllando su internet che la preparassero. A parte la location anni 70 con pavimento in graniglia color ruggine e losanghe di marmo bianche, infissi in alluminio a taglio vivo con vetro singolo da negozio di ferramenta, sedie girate sui tavoli all'ora di cena e "pessimismo e fastidio" genovese d'ordinanza "du vegiu" dietro al bancone, mi sento dire che, nonostante il menù ne riporti ben 6 tipologie differenti, la farinata d'estate non la fanno...perché fa caldo per fare la farinata...sai, il forno... Mi chiedo: la pizza invece...la fate uscire dal frigo? Se decidete di non preparare dei piatti che fanno invece chiaramente parte del vostro menù, sarebbe cosa gradita magari informare la clientela con un cartello in modo da non avere la sorpresa al momento dell'ordinazione perché le prese per i fondelli fanno incacchiare i clienti, soprattutto se propinate condite da scazzo. Tutto questo prima di mangiare la pizzata che, con triplo scazzo, mi hanno preparato. L'impasto era lo stesso della pizza classica che, sovrapposto alla base, è diventato chewing gum e pesantissimo da digerire. Il pomodoro poi lo hanno fatto passare davanti dicendo all'impasto "questo è pomodoro" e le olive (6) tirate tipo dadi sul tavolo da gioco. Ovviamente NON CONSIGLIO.

24/07/2024: Very good food, seafood pizza really great. Typical atmosphere in a port city. We were able to park right in front of it and had a good time waiting until the kitchen opened.

09/08/2024: Good restaurant on the heights of Cornigliano. Good quality food at medium-high but still acceptable prices (you don't spend less than €50 for a starter, main course, dessert and drinks). Nice place, not too fancy, with an excellent outdoor veranda. Advised.

28/08/2024: Excellent menu. All good....the location is not characteristic but I had a very good time. Toilets in excellent condition. There is parking in the area, not a lot but it's available. I recommend dinner. After all this I give a well-deserved five stars.

27/08/2024: It was so good!! Fried seafood, baked spaghetti! Waitress at the top, smiling and very friendly.

18/08/2024: Overrated. Very standard pizza, and all types have a similar taste. The crowd is just because Adam Sandlar had lunch there one time. It's not worth waiting in a very long queue for a table.

16/08/2024: Tiny restaurant with 6 seats inside and about 30 seats outside. Very busy at lunch time with only 1 waitress and 1 child waiter - not enough to deal with the number of customers. This means you're left with long waits to be seated and long waits to be served. People coming tend to jump at an empty table and then wait for it to be cleared at some point. When the food arrives it is good, but probably just as good as with other, less stressful places. Pizzas are overly big but have a thin crust so not too filling - you can easily share between 2 for a lunch. Focaccia and cold plates are also good. Salads are simple.

28/08/2024: Una garanzia se si vuole mangiare bene ad Arenzano. Frequento il ristorante da molti anni e ogni volta non mi delude mai. Il personale è molto gentile e in estate trovo fantastico mangiare fuori fronte mare. Esperienza positivissima.
