18/01/2026: We were there last night and today we are both very sick. The pizza was disgusting and smelled so bad that we had to leave half of it. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough and we both suffered food poisoning. Avoid.

03/03/2026: A tourist trap. Very plain food, pizza without any spices and tasteless cheap cheese. Sallad Nicoise without boiled egg, so not a Sallad Nicoise.

23/12/2025: Aside from the fact that the pizza chef smokes outside and when he sees you coming it seems like you're making him feel bad because he has to get up, he doesn't even wash his hands and it takes a lot for him to greet you, but on top of that the pizza has sour tomato sauce.

09/01/2026: I celebrated a birthday yesterday at Pizzeria Oltre Mare, and the experience was truly excellent. The staff was extremely helpful from the start: they let us set up the room with our decorations and were very understanding about the timing, given that we and the birthday boy arrived a little late. We were able to arrange the tables however we liked, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming for the party. When it came time for the cake, they brought it to our table with all the necessary accessories, impeccably. The pizzas were delicious, and the waiters were kind, attentive, and truly professional. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for helping make the evening special. Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: Terrible service, cold pizzas not delivered by the delivery driver, an hour late!! (We had to go get them ourselves), and on top of that, the wrong pizzas... They didn't even give us a bottle of water to apologize for the inconvenience. We went back to have the wrong pizzas remade, and they refused to do it unless we specifically asked!! I recommend you change your job!

09/02/2026: The menu is as good as the quality. The only shame is that the coffee machine makes it barely warm.

02/02/2026: We went for dinner on a friend's recommendation. The place was empty except for one table, but the service was incredibly slow. The waitress was friendly, but we had a long wait, even for dessert (which melted on the hot plate). Overall, the place was clean, and the pizza was okay. A Diavola, Coke, Meringue pie, and cover charge were €19.

23/12/2025: My son's team's pizza party, because my son is celiac, never arrived. The final bill was added to the total for two people who canceled at the last minute. After the evening, I sent an email to report the incident and ask them to be more considerate of celiac customers, but no one even bothered to respond. Awful experience!

16/02/2026: Cozy little place in Monterosso. We came with a tour group and had a set menu. The food was very good; from seafood salad, to Trofie Al Pesto pasta, to tiramisu with a rich coffee flavor for dessert. Wine and a bottle of water naturale was included. We also shared an order of calamari that was lightly battered, tender and tasty. Service was prompt and courteous.

03/10/2025: I didn't eat here, but getting on in age I found myself in the embarrassing situation of a desperate need to use a toilet. The restaurant was virtually empty when I made my request. A young girl turned me down , three times despite my pleas . 🥺 . Luckily I managed to get to the next restaurant. A very bad experience

04/03/2026: I saw that the year they built the new premises they also took the part of the former knitwear factory to put more tables, always taken take-away pizza as long as I could, then I became celiac, one of my biggest regrets was not being able to eat either the pizzas that the volcano made, or a nice cold beer

25/02/2026: I ordered a rare fillet steak and got the classic sole. I would have overlooked it anyway! But despite making a reservation to watch a football match on SKY, a recommended venue, we left 15 minutes early because, at their request, they had to close.

17/02/2026: In a square in Bordighera, there's a restaurant with an outdoor veranda where I had a carbonara and my partner a pizza. Everything was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable.

24/02/2026: La Ola is a magnificent place. I've been coming here for years and honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It's a unique place: a terrace overlooking the sea, like being on a yacht at anchor. You're literally on the open sea, both in the interior dining room with its large windows overlooking the water and on the enchanting terrace nestled among the rocks. I had lunch with an all-seafood menu: fish first course, fish second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee... only 20 euros. But what's truly impressive is the quality of the food, combined with a setting of rare beauty. It fills your heart with the light, the scent of the sea, and the authentic atmosphere you breathe. 11/01/2026: Cold place, cold bathroom, no soap, awful cooked ham and the worst thing is that for three people we paid 3 euros each for the cover charge, so an absurd 9 euros for the cover charge!

27/12/2025: DON'T GO THERE!!!! I don't know who wrote the 4* reviews.....for us, a Boxing Day to forget! . After being stuck on the highway for 2 hours due to an accident, at 2 pm we looked for an open place to eat in Busalla, I called this restaurant asking if they were still serving and they told us they were open. We sat down at a table of 6 at 2:30 pm. We ordered 2 mixed appetizers, steamed mussels, seafood salad, followed by trofie with pesto, two mixed grills, grilled prawns and sea bream. At 3 pm we received wine and water, then we waited until 4 pm! When they finally brought us something, they delivered steamed mussels (good, the only redeeming dish) along with seafood salad and trofie with pesto (overcooked, unsalted, badly drained pasta and poor-quality packaged pesto)....... The two mixed appetizers never arrived! When the main courses arrived half an hour later, the ribs were RAW and cold inside. The prawns were boiled rather than grilled, with the plate full of water. The sea bream were also partially raw! The price would have been fair for the dishes if the cooking and service had been up to par... €158. The only good thing was the pizza dough-based focaccia that they make fresh in the oven to accompany the main courses!

05/12/2025: Absolutely delicious! If you want to taste a real Italian pizza, you've come to the right place. From the dough to the toppings, it's excellent, and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend it.
