12/01/2026: Family dinner with friends. Even though we had a reservation, we found ourselves waiting for a table to become available. Okay, so we ordered, and the two tables that arrived after us were served immediately. Okay, so our dishes began to arrive, but the staff stopped by first to ask the adjacent tables if they had their orders. Okay, so we asked for the meat's doneness, but everything arrived rare. After asking, we were told that red meat should be eaten rare. Since it's requested during the order, why would they bring them all the same? If you sit near the windows in winter, you'll suffer from the cold because of the drafts. The meat and pizzas are good, but the service is a bit naive; draw your own conclusions.

11/01/2026: This pizzeria is even more popular in the summer thanks to its huge outdoor terrace. In the winter, the tables are numerous and too close together, so there's little room for bags and jackets, resulting in inevitable noise chaos. I'd reduce the number of tables. The pizza is typical of the '90s Northern Italian style. Thin. The ingredients are good, well-seasoned, and the ingredients are meticulously selected. The Imperia IPA beer is excellent, and I recommend it to those who don't like it too bitter. The dessert selection is good. Their Pandoro deserves special mention, and I found it truly delicious, well-leavened and well-made. I ate it with their homemade pistachio ice cream, which is amazing. The bill was reasonable: about €65 for four. Parking is large and convenient. I recommend everyone come and enjoy the pizza, and also the meat, given their great attention to quality. I suggest including the Neapolitan pizzas, because pizza tastes have shifted toward that even in the North, but for the rest...

04/01/2026: Delicious pizza by the slice (we tried the pesto one and the one with fresh tomatoes and capers), as well as the cheese and schiacciata focaccia. Small and cozy place, you can eat in. The person at the counter is pleasant.

03/02/2026: Yesterday I went to this restaurant for lunch. The food was quite subpar and didn't live up to expectations, although I should have realized this as soon as I walked in since the room was empty. The main course was quite disappointing, and the service was inattentive. I could have overlooked it, but what ruined it all was the owner's extremely rude and impolite behavior. An experience not to be repeated.

16/02/2026: Beautiful, traditional, and family-friendly place. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Good, traditional dishes that aren't too expensive, excellent value for money. I had the linguine allo scoglio, which was delicious and buttery; my girlfriend had the penne all'arrabbiata, which tasted more like penne all'aglione than all'arrabbiata, given the amount of garlic in it, but still very good. The pizzas were very tasty and had excellent leavening, being soft and fluffy. It's a shame that the service could be improved; it was a bit chaotic, but otherwise, nothing to complain about.

24/10/2025: A very cozy restaurant with exceptional service. Located right by the sea. I highly recommend the pesto lasagna and stuffed tortellini with walnut sauce. The pesto with any pasta is delicious.

05/11/2025: I've read several very dated reviews. The older ones, however, are no longer valid because two years ago the restaurant's menu was significantly reduced. Now they only serve pizza, platters, or fried foods. No more spaghetti, risotto, or fish! What a shame!

22/11/2025: We're a group of friends on a sports trip to Varazze. We're looking for a place to grab a pizza, and the guys from our opposing sports team recommend this place. We called way late for a standard reservation (7:00 PM), and they easily found us a spot for 8:00 PM. We had a great meal: tasty pizzas, well-topped, and a good dough that was perfectly cooked. The waitress and manager were welcoming and smiling, and the pizza + dessert + drink + liqueur were all very competitively priced; you won't find anything similar at that price in La Spezia. We'll be back.

15/12/2025: After visiting the truffle fair in Alba, a truly amazing experience, we had lunch at Ristorante Rossetti. I had risotto with porcini mushrooms and black truffles, and my wife had ravioli with pumpkin sauce and burrata. The portions were small, but delicious. The wine was practically a sip. But I've made a mental note that when I make mushroom risotto (and I definitely will) I'll use slightly fewer porcini mushrooms, so they don't overpower the truffle flavor. My wife absolutely loved the ravioli.

The thing that made it unpleasant to eat was the extremely thickly sliced ​​deli meats. The other ingredients, especially the dough, weren't top-quality either. To finish off the meal, I ordered a Neapolitan sfogliatella with ricotta, and I wish I'd never had it. It was nothing like a Neapolitan sfogliatella; it was warm and had ash-covered parts (they probably reheated it in the pizza oven), and the flavor of the ricotta and candied fruit was inedible. I only took one bite and left the rest there. Finally, the price was too high for the place and the product they offer, similar to that of some GOOD gourmet pizzas.
