24/05/2025: One of the best restaurants-pizzerias in Imperia. I had already been there other times but last night I went there with friends, there were 8 of us and we received excellent service. Exquisite dishes, very good pizzas, friendly, nice and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. In addition, the location of the restaurant is magnificent, near the new cycle path with the sea just a stone's throw away. Thanks Scialuppa. We will definitely be back.

10/05/2025: The Old Stable: Where Weddings Don't Make Dust Ok, let's put it this way: facing a wedding dinner is often an act of courage that requires strategic reserves of patience and the ability to simulate interest for hours. I'm usually a "crazy ball", let's say it openly! But today, at the "Vecchia Stalla" (and yes, the name makes you think of anything but wedding banquets based on fish with a sea view, and here is the beauty and the first comic point!), something unexpected happened. The fish-only menu was already a good sign: goodbye, kilometric rounds of mixed meat and greasy first courses that knock you out after two courses! Here we went for cleanliness, the flavor of the sea. And what a flavor! Everything, but I mean everything, was really very good. The fish was fresh, the preparations were carefully prepared, in short, the taste buds were grateful and did not feel weighed down for the next 48 hours. And the view? Wonderful, it almost made you feel guilty for looking at the plate instead of at the infinite blue out there. A real show. But the real, unexpected, sensational strong point? The speed! My goodness, these went like missiles! Dishes that arrived and disappeared from the table with a synchronicity that is miraculous for a wedding. No embarrassing downtime, no blank stares waiting for the next course, no "now what do I do for the next 40 minutes?". No, here was a continuous stream of goodness whizzing by. Fortunately, I add, because my tolerance for wedding boredom has its well-known limits, and today they have not been tested in the slightest. On the contrary. In summary: a wedding lunch at the "Vecchia Stalla" is the perfect solution for those who love newlyweds, good food (excellent fish!) and breathtaking views, but have a serious, very serious allergy to weddings that last as long as a Homeric epic. Impeccable service, standing ovation food and a speed that gets you back on track in an instant, ready for... the post-prandial nap not on the napkin. Highly recommended...

12/06/2025: I was there for lunch with my partner and we enjoyed an excellent pasta. We ate outside, on a lovely veranda, but unfortunately the rain prevented us from fully enjoying the view, which would be worth appreciating.

08/06/2025: I would like to point out that the restaurant was full of customers, including school groups. We had booked for 3 adults + infant, we ordered 2 first courses and a fish grill, the dishes were served cold and of mediocre quality. The bill also included a cover charge for the little girl, for whom the meal was shared with the writer.

01/06/2025: The perfect mix for eating in the worst place of my life. Disorganization, below average food quality, rudeness and arrogance. If you want to understand everything you should not do when you have a restaurant this is the place where you can train.

19/06/2025: What can I say, we had little hope but, I tell you that if you are in these parts you have to come and try the pizzas, they are DELICIOUS, you can see on the other tables that the first courses were also beautiful. A beautiful surprise. Definitely worth returning.

15/06/2025: Dinner with the family last night 16-6-25.. I took the mussels with pepper, already taken in the past and it was very good, yesterday really unthinkable. Surely fresh but the sauce completely tasteless and without taste, neither garlic nor pepper. I was disappointed given the past experience. I also took fried food from my daughter, abundant but heavy with oil and after a while sickening, even the seafood appetizer did not satisfy. I will not go again and I am very sorry. If the chef has changed call the predecessor..

18/05/2025: A very nice place located at street level. The staff very welcoming and kind. We went as a couple and we took 4 pizzas, two each, the pizzas were very good with a thin dough and excellent ingredients, we had them halved so we could taste more flavors. The desserts were really good! We took two tiramisu and a pear and chocolate cake really good. For a total expense of €50, it is really worth it. The only flaw is the parking which is not easy to find given the location of the restaurant, otherwise highly recommended.

28/05/2025: Pizze ordinate come al solito, sempre trovato bene ma stavolta pizze gommose, fredde , La mia c'era la burrata.....senza sapore, Mia figlia una semplice Margherita....la mozzarella per modo di dire...sembrava formaggio fuso....l'ha scansata tutta. Mi dispiace a me che ho speso soldi... Avete perso un cliente

19/05/2025: Nice service. The boss is very nice, he certainly cheers up the children, although he also made me laugh. That's what you call customer service. And most importantly, delicious pizza!!!

03/05/2025: Coming out of a recent trauma from a foccacia pizza, we deign to go to Nando's Pizzeria. There are many of us and yet we are quickly taken care of. The decoration is sober and sometimes random on its floors: a collection of mugs with random designs (Big Ben mug?) above a painting by Frida Khalo. My friend orders a pizza with sausage and fries and beyond the fact that it is factually problematic and blasphemous, we are not sure that the waitress understood the request, following a huge misunderstanding. But, nice surprise, the pizza arrived intact and whole. The service was then provided by a lady who juggled between four languages: French, English, Italian and kindness. It was a real ray of sunshine, although the day was blithely rainy. In the middle of all this, the chef sometimes made his pizzas, sometimes cut ham in front of the amazed eyes of our table. He didn't hesitate to offer some to us either. The prices were far from excessive (several pizzas for less than €10) but the cost of the service per person can drastically compensate. An experience to be repeated without moderation. A safe address, even if some reviews are very surprising compared to what our group experienced. A big thought for this shot of limoncello as a digestive which burned my trachea for three working days 🤓☝ #pastresgourmand #intelligentetpeuchargeenbas
