26/12/2024: amazing stafff very kind and thoughtful, not pushy about ordering stuff. some of the food was pretty average, good but not special. pizza was amazing though, crispy and cheese tasted very fresh. warm and cozy background with music.

14/10/2024: Don't eat here, waste of money. The food looks nice, but has no taste at all. Have a wood oven, but no skills to bake a tasty pizza. Ordered a bottle of wine that was not to my liking upon tasting. As a result, the manager addressed us unfriendly. Tried to eat half the pizza but didn't succeed. Then paid and left.

12/01/2025: This morning we had breakfast in this bar in Piazza Navona. I travel a lot and I am aware and inclined to the fact that when you are in a central place, there must be an increase in costs, also because these places often have greater care. Which is not in this place. Classic place with tiny tables next to the kitchen, no window, nothing special. But you are in Piazza Navona and this fits. But paying 5.5 euros for a coffee seems really too much. A coke 8 euros. A croissant 7 euros (2 euros for the pistachio cream) are we kidding? A breakfast for 2 people 31 euros, even no. When I complained at the cashier the manager's response was that I should have checked the menu. First of all, the menu did not indicate some things correctly, in fact in the end I did not pay for 2 variants that were not indicated, such as the pistachio cream in the croissant and the chips in a small bowl for 4 euros. Point two, the menu they provided me had prices written badly and not easily understandable, in fact I didn't understand that they were prices. (It had another clear menu which was not delivered to me). Point three, if I had seen them, nothing would have changed, the point is that in my opinion, TOURISTS CANNOT BE TREATED LIKE THIS. It doesn't seem honest! I won't stop, I want clarity!

28/11/2024: Det var ombyggnad på torget framför restaurangen inför 2025 och man såg knappt vilka restauranger som fanns! Så det blev den här restaurangen. Turistfälla? Ja kanske men god pizza och hyfsat pris var det. Ölen Poretti var en ny god bekantskap i sammanhanget!

30/10/2024: Acabábamos de visitar el Vaticano y nos sentimos súper hambrientos y deshidratados. Miramos el menú y una mujer nos mostró rápidamente a nuestros asientos. Estuvimos sentados durante siglos y notamos a la misma mujer sentada un montón de gente. Un camarero vino a dejar cubiertos dijimos que estábamos listos para pedir y él simplemente nos ignoró. Decidimos irnos, ya que claramente era solo una trampa para que se sentara tanta gente como pudiera. Al salir vimos a la misma mujer sentada en un restaurante cercano. Recomiendo caminar y girar a la derecha como más abajo se encuentra 'Tonnarello san pietra' que tiene una comida y un servicio increíbles.

24/11/2024: Mi dispiace dover constatare che qualcosa è cambiato..non ci siamo.. pizza molto meno digeribile ci abbiamo messo due gg..fretta nel farti ordinare e quando hai terminato nel farti alzare, prezzo decisamente esagerato...non ci siamo proprio.. ci sono pizzerie a Civitavecchia, con forno a legna e non elettrico, che offrono servizio e qualità di molto suoeriori..

13/11/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante sia il pesce che la pizza e sono entrambi ottimi. Il pesce è freschissimo e la ragazza che ci ha serviti, Greta, è stata molto gentile e precisa. Grazie ancora e alla prossima.

14/12/2024: The place was on the great spot, but the food is not that great, we ordered some pasta which was poor , wine was good, and drank a coup of coffee. The waiter was ok, but at he end when we pay the check around 50eur, he took his freedom to take the change for him self as a tip, even if we said that it wasn't his choice to do that. he eventually bring us back the change to insult us which was not very kind from his side. In the end there are better places to dine and wine than this one.

03/12/2024: The worst experience in Rome, a shame not to have read the reviews before. We sat down to have a drink because as we passed they called us and tricked us into forcing us to consume more by justifying the location of the place. The products are fresh, the pizzas are thin and crispy, the tomato sauce on the (fresh) pasta, chicken etc. reminds me of my Sicilian grandmother's sauce dishes, rest her soul! The server is just adorable, caring and very kind! We are welcomed like kings!!! As for the price, let's talk about it: menu for €14 please!!! Main course + dessert (and the dishes are very generous!!!!) Thanks to “BAR DEL MERCATO” we will always come back!!!!! ❤️🤌🏼🇮🇹
