18/03/2026: I ordered takeout: 1 ortolona, 1 parmigiana, and 1 porcini mushroom.
Everything was good and the service was quick. It's a shame, though, that the mushrooms weren't porcini, but sautéed.
(Disclaimer: I've always ordered from them and eaten there. I hope they'll pay more attention to reading the order next time.)
17/03/2026: I've only ordered two takeout sandwiches once, but I won't do it again. The staff is very rude and unhelpful.
After several calls, the sandwiches arrived cold an hour and a half after the first call. I paid out of respect for the guy who delivered them, but when I called the pizzeria again to complain and ask for at least a discount on my next sandwich, they hung up on me twice. The first time they said the line had gone dead, the second time they even told me to go fuck myself!

Out of seven pizzas, some were burned, the dough was rubbery and poorly risen, and some had little to no toppings (especially the sausage and chips pizza for my niece, which was practically white). Was it an isolated incident? Well, my birthday was ruined, the pizzas were terrible, and my money was wasted. I'm sorry, I won't be back.

20/03/2026: Amazing authentic italian pizza! They serve you with plastic glasses and paper plates because they know, it doesn't matter! Their pizza is peak quality at a very reasonable price. No tourist trap! The service was good, quick and engaged. 10/10 would come here again!
13/03/2026: So, I'm a Neapolitan pizza lover, and it's never been more than two years between visits to Naples. I've been going to Vesuvia practically since it opened. I can say the pizza has NEVER changed, always the same quality: tomato sauce, anchovies, basil, sausage, and so on. I've never had a night where the pizza was different or slightly less good. Plus, it seems to me that the staff is always the same. Gentlemen, this is a clear indication that this company kicks ass. I apologize for the colorful term, but I have to sincerely congratulate the entire staff. WELL DONE!

05/05/2026: We had very nice lunch here - good salad and toastie. The horrible story came when I went to the dessert counter and trying to order the dessert. The red hair lady with glasses was extremely rude. I asked what's her recommendation - she was very angry and reacted in a horrible way. I wanted to order several options, but in the end I felt so disappointed with her attitude so only choose one. When I tried to pay, she insisted that I need to pay other things as well - after checking with her colleagues in the end, she finally realised that I had paid the food and only need to pay the dessert. Oh, what a stressful eating experience! The cafe's name is d'amore, and I felt it's a joke somehow. Avoid it to save your nerves!
05/05/2026: Verified again that the lady with red hair and funny yellow glass doesn't know how to serve. She refused to answer any questions and treated customers in a horrible way. When I pay, she just gave me random number without any breakdown. Avoid at any cost!

Okay, we're closing, but I think that while the restaurant is open, customers should find at least some fried fish, especially considering the attractions there were at the time. What a shame 🤷🏻

30/12/2025: A unique experience. The pizzas arrived raw, and they remade them without hesitation. Unfortunately, when the second pizzas arrived, one was the wrong one, with ham added to a vegetarian pizza. However, the staff were very kind, offering to remake the pizza, and it was back within 10 minutes.
Despite the various inconveniences, they resolved everything with professionalism, courtesy, and so much kindness.
