11/09/2025: A homey, family-friendly atmosphere and traditional Emilian dishes. There are also large outdoor tables. During a dinner with local friends and family, I particularly enjoyed friggione, a typical Bolognese dish dating back to the late 1800s, whose recipe has even been registered by the Italian Academy of Cuisine in Bologna. It's essentially a tomato and onion side dish, very spicy and flavorful, typically served with boiled meat and roasts.

31/08/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant since I was a child, when I went to the spa, and I can say that the place has remained virtually unchanged since then. It's located next to a river lock, a romantic and pleasant setting, surrounded by nature. Wheelchair access is also available. For many years, I've come here primarily for the mutton, and this time, too, it lived up to expectations: well-cooked, generous portions, and a relatively low price for what's served. The service is quite friendly and fast. The atmosphere is rustic and very reminiscent of the typical homes of the area from times gone by. I consider the prices fair: not low, but still acceptable. The location is a bit outside the city center, and you'll need a car to get there from Bologna, as public transportation isn't great. We booked, didn't encounter any waits, and card payment was possible without any problems. The only negative note: the dining room is very noisy. When it gets crowded, you have to raise your voice to speak, which detracts somewhat from the pleasure of dining.

19/07/2025: Last night, a friend and I called to order two pizzas, but out of 30 calls, only three were answered, with "Play Hard" by David Guetta, Ne-Yo, and Akon playing in the background, and insults directed at us both. The staff was incompetent and rude, and on the first two calls, they couldn't speak Italian, English, or any other Latin, Germanic, or Indo-European language. They probably knew a few words, but they were certainly ignoring us on the first two calls, given that, on the third, their linguistic knowledge resurfaced from the oblivion it had sunk into during the previous calls, and they proceeded directly to verbal insults and physical threats. But I'll get to that in a moment, and what happened was simply unacceptable. The first two calls were also filled with noises in an "alien language," metallic, almost magnetic, and with constant, eerie radio silence. On the third and final call, a certain "Willy" threatened and insulted us for no apparent reason, given that we were patient and mostly kind. The insults and physical intimidation because we ordered two pizzas during work hours are sinister, sad, and unacceptable. He personally threatened me with coming to my house and hung up without a verbal and civil conversation. But then again, everyone knows that those who threaten or use violence are verbally, culturally, and lexically weak and poor. These were threats from "Willy," moreover, even against a fictitious wife I don't have, made by this "Willy," given that I'm in my third decade and probably even younger than him. I call him "Willy" with quotation marks primarily because I don't believe it's his real name, but rather an epithet lacking in veracity. There are people who sue for much less, but I don't have time to waste. I've never sued anyone and I certainly won't for this event. But this negative review must be made, even reluctantly, because it's unfair for staff to treat customers this way. You're working, not playing, and people don't call you to have fun, to be mocked, or to waste their time. We demand an apology from this "Willy" and the owner. It's a shame, we probably would have even given them a tip, since we recognize we weren't exactly close by, but answering calls this way should make you feel ashamed. It's a missed opportunity. We hope and await an apology, hoping to be able to return and taste your culinary delights, but until then, we're lost customers. Have a good evening.

19/07/2025: A takeout pizzeria that answers a whopping 30 calls, with David Guetta's "Play Hard" playing in the background, making the call incomprehensible, and a certain Willy threatening to fight a friend of mine an hour after not answering the constant calls. Too bad, because I wanted some more songs 😭

01/05/2025: Pizzeria of the heart! Kind, helpful, polite, service always at the top, both when I order and collect it myself, and when they bring it to my home. The pizza is always delicious, very high quality ingredients, super digestible dough. Tested doughs: normal, kamut and charcoal, special mention also for the fried foods!

10/05/2025: Ambiente raffinato e curato. Ottima la musica di sottofondo. Personale molto cortese e la proprietaria molto attenta e competente. Abbiamo gustato dei carciofi fritti superlativi, crostini ai funghi prugnoli deliziosi. Passatelli con pomodorini e prugnoli ottimi e una ribollita stupenda. Per dolce, abbiamo ordinato un'altra porzione degli indimenticabili carciofi fritti.
