The food was super and so was the dessert. The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel at home.

26/08/2025: What can I say? A wonderful and characteristic place right in the center of Sorrento, where you can savor traditional dishes (superlative gnocchi) and the charming atmosphere of the peninsula, further enhanced by a jovial guitarist playing among the tables.
Not to mention the service and the waiters, all super kind, smiling, and helpful.
My stroller, which we had folded in a corner, slipped on the floor, and the waiter noticed it and took care to put it away next to a chair.
A pleasant experience and good food.
19/08/2025: La Lanterna is a gem amongst the lovely little back streets of Sorrento. We ate here two out of four nights and wished we found it earlier in the holiday.
The pizzas, pasta carbonara and seafood platter were delicious. The service was excellent, all staff were so friendly and the live entertainment was superb!

09/07/2025: 4 of us attended the school in July. Easy shuttle from town; nice country atmosphere up on the hill; the hosts were gracious, helpful, and funny. Absolutely recommend to anyone considering it who might be traveling in Campania. Also, we booked our class only the day before, and it was fine.
04/07/2025: If you ever wanted to make pizza dough from scratch, try this, the staff are really warm and welcoming, Luigi is a real comedian, Maria has a lovely warmth to her, as did everyone involved with this experience. Thank you so much for a memorable day, Grazie mille a tutti. 💚🤍♥️

01/09/2025: Menu choice is good, service is very efficient, atmosphere is great, the food presentation was fantastic. Taste of the food was slightly disappointing.
28/08/2025: The space was spacious and airy, the atmosphere was upscale, and the pizza was delicious.
However, even though I deliberately visited during an off-peak time, the staff was rather indifferent.
The food prices were generally 2-10 euros higher than other restaurants.
When I paid, they asked if I wanted to tip, but it wasn't worth it.
I experienced the incredible magic of receiving 12 euros for a margherita, 15 euros for a tasso pizza, and 38 euros for a bottle of water.
They didn't even give me a detailed bill.

We stopped attracted by a delicious smell of pizza in the air, and it turned out to be a great idea!
Simple place but the pizza was really very good and the staff very kind.
Recommended stop.

30/08/2025: We're staying at the hotel next door, so we decided to stop by for lunch one day, and it was a great choice. Quality food, a fair price for Sorrento, and the staff was fantastic.
We paid €58 for two people, including lunch and two 66cl Peroni bottles.
29/08/2025: This restaurant was recommended by our transfer driver and it did not disappoint.We ended up going 2 nights in a row for dinner. We had the chicken pollo, cannelloni, ravioli and spaghetti vongole (clams) and the affogato. We are thinking of coming back again and trying the pizza next.
Very taste traditional food and lovely waitstaff.

20/08/2025: Found it by chance and it turned out to be very good and super cheap.
If you arrive around 8:30/9, you might find a bit of a line, but it moves quickly.
A friendly, family-friendly place with very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

31/08/2025: Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, with definitely the best pizza (ortolana with a tomato base) we've had in Sorrento (and a few glasses of chianti to help it go down). Highly recommend for a late lunch.

29/08/2025: The steak that you see is suppose to be a fillet it was so tough that I could not even cut it. No server came even once to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Paid the entire bill. The owner never even asked once why the entire plate was sent back. Total waste of a dinner experience.
