22/08/2025: I've only been there once, and I'm sorry, but it will be the last!! We arrived around 9 PM and ordered almost immediately: three pizzas and fries to share. The fries arrived in a few minutes (not the best I've had, but not the worst either), but the pizzas took over an hour and a half!! They arrived after several requests to the waiters around 10:45 PM... I only ate half because by then I wasn't even in the mood, not to mention that it wasn't the best I've had either!! My personal advice: if you can't keep up with all the requests, either reduce the seating and takeout, or hire more staff!!

20/08/2025: The food was very good, but one thing I didn't like at all was that they didn't give us the prices for what we ordered, and when it came to the bill, we ended up paying a lot. It's true that everything is fresh fish, but from reliable sources, the prices of the fish are different to those of the locals, so I felt a bit cheated, as they charge us tourists different prices... considering we've been coming here for years and know the place well.

20/09/2024: il locale è molto bello, con giardinetto privato !, la pizza è mediamente buona, il bordo non collima col centro, lo lasci tutto, ma.... il cibo non va bene, calamari fritti non congelati ma congelatissimi, io esperto li ho visti da lontano e non ne ho assaggiati, i miei amici non esperti si, e la notte gli han fatto pure male, mi dico..... se non ne avete, dite semplicemente....: stasera non c'è questa pietanza, è molto semplice !!!

18/09/2025: 😋😋 Wow! 😋😋🍕🍕 After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest. 04/09/2025: The place is located in a fairytale natural setting, practically attached to the picturesque olive tree rock, and this is the main feature. It's a shame, however, that the spaces of the structure are very retro and poorly maintained, as are the rooms. Overall, we were welcomed well, although perhaps given the tiredness of the end of the season, we had an adequate approach. My advice is not a criticism. It would take very little to improve and enrich the structure and offer more modern comforts in step with the times, given the current cost line.

19/08/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant, mostly seafood-based. I'd particularly like to mention the struncatura with local tuna, a generous portion and exceptional quality—a must-try! The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the pizza was excellent! The unparalleled view of the Scoglio dell'Ulivo and the sound of the waves provide a splendid backdrop. Recommended.

23/09/2025: The pizza isn't even bad (except for the burnt edges). But the truly exhausting wait, at times ridiculous even to order, ruins everything. Let alone the pizzas... it takes almost an hour, and they don't even respect the order in which the various tables arrive. People who arrive later eat before others who have been seated for a while... The staff ignores you, except for the guy I believe was the owner, who was also generally friendly and kind. Avoid.

22/09/2025: Really disappointed, I waited 1.5 minutes for 5 pizzas, which never arrived, after paying the bill of 40 euros, I left really disappointed.

31/08/2025: My friends and I called this beach club to see if there was a table for three. We were told we could go there within 15 minutes of calling. In reality, when we arrived after the 15 minutes indicated, we were told they'd seat us shortly, but it took an hour before we were actually given a table. Our order was taken by a waitress who wasn't particularly friendly, unlike the rest of the staff, who were much more welcoming. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish that didn't list sausages among the ingredients listed, but they were included in the dish. I personally don't eat pork, and if they had been listed, I would have had them removed before ordering. For me, it wasn't a big problem, but for someone with allergies or sensitivity to meat, it would have been more of a hassle; simply pointing them out would have been enough.

28/08/2025: We visited this place today with my friend and we absolutely loved everything. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t speak English, but it wasn’t a problem at all — we still managed to place our order without any issues. Everything was served quickly and smoothly, and the waiters were pleasant and friendly. They even helped us choose the perfect wine for the evening, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere of this place is incredibly charming, and it definitely deserves a visit.

24/08/2025: All pizzas available as gluten free, vegan (no cheese) by request. Very affordable & thin pizzas , went 3 times while my stay in the area, ideal for lunch & snack.

23/07/2025: Excellent bar with a deli open for lunch. Traditional Calabrian fare, but also excellent fish, seafood, and pasta dishes. The staff are courteous and professional, even offering personal advice.

03/09/2025: This restaurant was the first place I thought of eating before leaving for Palmi. A very good restaurant, with truly well-made dishes using local ingredients. Very helpful and welcoming staff. After a good meal, you can also admire the three crosses and the view of Palmi, less than a 2-minute walk away. Well done, guys! Keep up the good work, guys!

06/07/2025: An excellent pizzeria where you can spend a quiet evening and above all eating really well... We opted for the pizza tour for 20 euros per person which consisted of: appetizer of fried potatoes, hot focaccia and a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and olives, then moving on to his majesty the pizza tasted in 5 different flavors and all excellent, To finish a pizza with Nutella P.s. the pizza tour also includes unlimited water and a soft drink per person. Bravi bravi bravi
