04/07/2025: Absolutely the best restaurant where we ate during our vacation, in fact after the first time we went back the next day to try their risotto alla pescatora which you have to book, and we did well because it was delicious perhaps the best I have ever eaten. In this restaurant the excellent raw material is the master, it literally explodes in the mouth in every dish. Very good. Mrs. Daniela talks about her restaurant and the dishes with so much passion and the guys who serve at the tables are really kind and professional an excellent team. I highly recommend it.

21/06/2025: Excellent service and excellent speed in service. Very nice waitress, we ordered 3 different pizzas including a margherita. From what I had been told I expected a little more, but the Pizza is acceptable. Then obviously pizza is subjective. Definitely worth trying, also nice to eat outside in the summer on the lawn 👍

And I cannot fail to mention the meatballs: a real delight, soft and tasty, an absolute must-try. The real star of the evening was the ‘Boscaiola’ pizza. 01/06/2025: lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.

The dough is light, fragrant and digestible, with a perfect leavening that you can feel from the first bite. Very fresh and superior quality ingredients, with creative but always balanced combinations. The staff is very kind, attentive and helpful, always with a smile. The environment is welcoming, elegant and with attention to detail. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic pizza, made with love and passion. We will be back soon!

06/07/2025: The restaurant pizzeria L'Antico Torchio is located in Castrovillari, in the province of Cosenza, in Calabria. The restaurant is large, very well furnished and enjoys an excellent location, with private parking. The menu is very varied, the service is excellent, the staff is super attentive and the prices are good. It is definitely worth it!

20/06/2025: Very kind owners, fast service, friendly waiters. Price adequate for the food and location. An excellent place also for ceremonies. If it were not 730 km from my home I would return often. Warm greetings to all the staff.

29/06/2025: Passing through on our way to Tropea, two minutes from the highway exit, 41 degrees at 2 pm, we call to find out if we can have lunch. “Come, we’ll be waiting for you!” . We start well and continue better: friendliness, a trattoria without too many ambitions, quite cool despite the outside temperature. We order and in 15 minutes the dishes arrive that I post in the photo. Everything is good, from the fusilli to the roasted caciocavallo. The highlight? The fried meatloaf and the inevitable Calabrian chili pepper 🌶.

29/05/2025: Pizzeria storica di Cosenza con panorama mozzafiato sulla città. Abbiamo preso gli stregotti al cotto e ancora con rucola pomodorini e olive schiacciate. Una delizia per il palato. Poi assaggi di tre tipi di pizza: Margherita, crema di zucca pancetta e provola e la pizza chiamata "prima classificata" di cui non svelo gli ingredienti ma che invito a provare. Lo staff è accogliente, il servizio eccellente e la cucina e la pizza fenomenale. Vi invito ad andare rimarrete stregati.
