04/07/2025: Very warm, attentive, and friendly staff, excellent food. The pictures don't even begin to capture the exquisitely prepared dishes. It was simply divine. Super-fresh moule, vongole with linguine, and a fish platter from the lake. 😋
Simply perfect.

19/08/2025: A fantastic small hotel set in historic walls in the center of Cannobio. Impressive from the outside, and breathtaking inside too. Tastefully furnished rooms perfectly combine history and modernity. We stayed in Room 02 with a balcony and lake view for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast room is impressive, decorated in historic style. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired; everything is of the highest quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all areas, and every request is immediately fulfilled. A top hotel for couples! Private parking is available for hotel guests near the hotel.
17/08/2025: If I could give Hotel Pironi 10 stars (and a gold medal) I would. My wife and I had four blissful nights here a week or so ago and we simply fell in love with it the place. Great situation and the staff were incredibly helpful. Our room had a balcony with a view if that lake highly recommended). Great place to swim about 5 mins walk (head south when you get to the lake). The cherry on the cake (and it’s a huge cake) is their breakfasts. One to beat based on our experience of 2 weeks travelling across Europe. Cannot recommend highly enough.

31/08/2025: The place is nice, great view and atmosphere. The staff is a bit clumsy, not particularly friendly but not rude either.
The pizza is okay, the dough is good and tasty, but the toppings are really sparse. I think it definitely needs more ingredients on top.
31/08/2025: The pizza dough was great, so I really enjoyed the pizza. There were a few too few ingredients on it, so the food was a bit too bread-heavy and not quite filling. The location by the lake is very nice. The service was nonexistent. Since we were primarily looking for a crispy pizza and wanted to leave quickly, this didn't bother us too much, so despite its obvious weaknesses, it was a good experience.

17/08/2025: The food was very good. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Our starter and main course arrived at the same time. Afterwards, we wanted to order a drink and dessert, but none of the waiters paid any attention to us. Even when we wanted to pay, they didn't ask if we wanted another drink or dessert, and we waited over 20 minutes for the bill.
At the next table, the food arrived before the drinks.
Conclusion: Good food, poor service. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

25/08/2025: During our stay in Budoni, we always had breakfast here. The croissants were fantastic, and the cakes looked inviting (though we didn't try them). The coffee and cappuccino were delicious. And the outdoor area is also beautiful, with petunias, hydrangeas, plumbago, hibiscus...colorful sofas in the shade. Highly recommended.

06/09/2025: Compared to years ago, the service and food have improved. The dishes are more carefully prepared and the staff are more attentive and helpful. The all-you-can-eat menu for lunch and dinner is still reasonably priced. Excellent sushi and fantastic Chinese dishes.
Don't be fooled by the exterior location. I'm giving it 4 stars because I think the ambience, both interior and exterior, could be improved, but the food is excellent. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the food is family-style, and the flavors are authentic. I'm sorry to read unpleasant comments about the food because after years, we've never had any problems. If you're looking for an elegant, modern, and flashy restaurant, look elsewhere, but if you want good food, especially authentic Chinese cuisine, you're in the right place.

You had to order everything at once...some of the food was cold and not good at all 🙈
Everything was just thrown onto the table without even a glance at us!
We will definitely never eat there again.

05/08/2025: Decent place to crash.
Pizza was curvier than J.Lo, but if tomato sauce were a spice, it’d be flour - plain and begging for salt. Mozzarella was more than sun in the Sahara, but toppings like tuna and onion were on a diet.
Would give it a 6.8/10. Add salt, kalm down the cheese game and toss on 20% more toppings then we’re talking pizza worth a comeback!

They even provided spontaneous service that was truly special and went far beyond the menu, with a kind walk that made all the difference.

21/08/2025: Absolutely delicious, high-quality food. Also a good and extensive wine list. A bit pricey, though.
