04/07/2025: Very warm, attentive, and friendly staff, excellent food. The pictures don't even begin to capture the exquisitely prepared dishes. It was simply divine. Super-fresh moule, vongole with linguine, and a fish platter from the lake. 😋 Simply perfect.

20/10/2025: The owner and the entire staff were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is simply fantastic. With the slightly cooler temperatures, the room was very cold because the windows weren't airtight. Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

29/09/2025: The hotel is a little gem, with lovely courtyards and a beautifully furnished lower level. However, the rooms are very noisy. I felt like my neighbor's toilet was right next to my head. The rooms should be better soundproofed. The service is excellent; very friendly, helpful, and generous.

14/09/2025: Great hotel in an amazing location in Cannobio! Loved being in the heart of the town and so close to the promenade. The breakfast spread was also such a treat! Can’t wait to come back.

19/08/2025: A fantastic small hotel set in historic walls in the center of Cannobio. Impressive from the outside, and breathtaking inside too. Tastefully furnished rooms perfectly combine history and modernity. We stayed in Room 02 with a balcony and lake view for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast room is impressive, decorated in historic style. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired; everything is of the highest quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all areas, and every request is immediately fulfilled. A top hotel for couples! Private parking is available for hotel guests near the hotel.

11/10/2025: Cute Little Bar/Café in the central of Cannobio. The Waitres was super Kind and welcomed us with Open Arms. The coffee was good, the panini was nothing Special and lacked some ingredients instead of plain meat but they were still tasty. Pretty Ambiente with italian urban feeling. Prices were fair.

07/10/2025: Small, rustic bar, nicely shady in the summer months. Good Aperol Spritz 🤩, unfortunately we didn't eat, so no review possible. Friendly service!

07/10/2025: A typical tourist pizza restaurant, with a very low quality-price ratio. For example, a Capricciosa pizza costs 15 euros, and the prices for the others are similar. One might expect a quality pizza. Instead, they serve one cooked in an electric oven, very mediocre, both in terms of dough and toppings. We're just a few kilometers from the Swiss border, and the prices for pizzas and all the other dishes are "Swiss." But in Italy, there are thousands of pizzeria restaurants where you can enjoy quality food for much lower prices.

04/10/2025: Good pasta with mushrooms, good pizza. Unfortunately, too expensive for Cannobio. We paid €100 for four people (2 pizzas and 2 pastas).

05/10/2025: As usual, I found it via Google Maps and a personal recommendation. The Capaccio and the Tatar al Manzo were very good. Both pizzas are among the best I've ever eaten/tried, and I generally love food, and I also love pizza. Great!!! The staff is attentive and has a sense of humor 😊. I would eat here again tomorrow, but tomorrow is a day off, so we'll be moving on. Too bad, but we'll be back at the next opportunity. 👍😉

23/09/2025: A welcoming and magical atmosphere, elegant furnishings, excellent food quality, extraordinary attention and kindness from the staff, very friendly and professional, speed of service and excellent availability, truly authentic. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, dishes with attention to detail and original touches, authentic and delicious flavor.

30/09/2025: We sat outside on the terrace and were served by three friendly Asian ladies. The food was consistently good, and the price of the lunch buffet at €15 was unbeatable. We can highly recommend this restaurant!

07/10/2025: One of the best places in the area where you can find everything. Excellent meat and fish cuisine, top-notch pizzeria (the jewel in the crown) with a wide selection of flavors, and highly qualified and helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: Very nice ambiance on the lakeside promenade in Cannobio. The food was truly delicious. We had nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, we weren't so happy with the service. They forgot several things. For example, the drink we had ordered once. We ordered a gluten-free pizza and they served us a regular pizza. The same thing happened with dessert. We asked if the panna cotta was gluten-free. He went to the kitchen to ask, but he didn't come back. We paid and left without dessert.

14/10/2025: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! Totally unprofessional! We found ourselves standing in front of closed doors this afternoon, even though Google said the restaurant was open. There's no indication on the website that the restaurant is closed today. Can't be reached by phone either!

14/10/2025: I've been to the Grotto St. Anna a few times over the past few years, but each time I felt less hospitable and less welcomed as a guest. The sign on the gate in German stating that only drinks are served with food isn't exactly a welcome – it could certainly be addressed differently. And today, the absolute low point. As always, we walked to the grotto and unfortunately found ourselves in front of a locked gate. Even though Google and the website said it should be open from 12 p.m., we waited in vain for 40 minutes in front of the locked door before heading back. No "closed" sign, no voicemail, no information... and we weren't the only ones; they probably didn't need it.
