11/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Santena! We stayed at Locanda del Cont and the experience was flawless in every way.
The interior is simply beautiful. The decor is meticulously crafted, elegant and refined without losing the welcoming atmosphere typical of high-class inns. The lighting and architectural details create an intimate atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion.
Our meal was exquisite. You can clearly taste the use of the highest-quality ingredients and the kitchen's expertise in enhancing local flavors with balance and creativity. Each dish is carefully presented, a true feast for the eyes as well.
The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and never intrusive, making you feel pampered throughout the evening.
In short: an enchanting setting where the quality of the food lives up to the beauty of the location. We'll definitely be back!
10/03/2026: ideal place for a peaceful evening meal. The food is up to the standard of the piemontese cuisine. The lady/chef i believe is the owner came to the table to make sure if we were happy with the food. Very good selection of wines. I ll definetly recommend it.

After eating there last year with terrible service (a ridiculous amount of time for a pizza, a hair on the pizza, OPEN fries, wrong orders), we decided to give this pizzeria a second chance. And no, wrong orders, food brought together, both appetizers and pizza, olives on a child's pizza WITH STONES. Maybe let them know, since it's a baby pizza?! Finally, they charge an extra cover charge on the bill, but then they round up the bill! Next time they mention this pizzeria, I'll run away.

22/04/2025: Pranzo di pasquetta in agriturismo, anche se di agriturismo sa poco, è una casa all'interno di un cortile in mezzo ad altre case, senza animali e senza terreno... All'esterno è abbastanza triste e trascurato, mentre all'interno la struttura a volte in mattoni è bella e anche curata nella sua semplicità negli arredi. Personale cortese ma un po' freddo nei modi. Bagni puliti. Carino il tavolo all'ingresso allestito con le decorazioni pasquali. Passando al cibo, menù fisso a 40€: prosciutto crudo tagliato da un fondino un po' stopposo con un bocconcino di mozzarella normale, molto buona invece l'insalatina di pollo nel cestino di pasta fillo, a conti fatti il piatto meglio riuscito del pranzo. Primo, sulla carta, con asparagi e pancetta, ma asparagi non pervenuti, se non qualche sparuto pezzettino capitato in qualcuno dei piatti. Secondo, grigliata, immangiabile: ali di pollo crude, coppa piena di grasso e dal sapore di stantìo, costine come la coppa, spiedini disastrati e composti essenzialmente da pancetta e peperoni. Dolci: per fortuna la fettina di colomba e soprattutto le fragole con gelato erano buone. Mi spiace ma non riesco proprio a dare più di 3 pallini... Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente sbilanciato, sia per il contesto che soprattutto per il cibo
