Excellent selection of à la carte dishes. Given the season, we chose the seasonal mushroom menu (very fresh porcini mushrooms). Excellent wines are also available. Kindness is a hallmark of the restaurant.

I visited this restaurant to enjoy their famous "asparagiata," which in this case consisted of various asparagus dishes (sautéed in a pancetta roll, with sauces, in flan, in an omelette, in a salad with a hard-boiled egg, with butter and parmesan, with a fried egg, and more) and the ever-present asparagus risotto. The asparagus was certainly high-quality, and the dishes were meticulously prepared. The ladies in the dining room were always ready to accommodate guests' needs, with menus available when needed. The decor is pleasant and functional, the number of tables is well-balanced for the available space, and the room feels neither crowded nor noisy. The restaurant is housed, I believe, in a former farmhouse and is surrounded by greenery just a short distance from the center of Santena. Overall, a positive experience.

We went here for a dinner featuring local asparagus. The restaurant is certainly welcoming and well-kept, the staff is courteous, and the quality of the local ingredients is very good, although some dishes weren't particularly well prepared for the asking price (€45 excluding wine). One thing that left us puzzled, however (we're used to traveling everywhere with our dog), was being told that Syria wasn't allowed in the restaurant. Since we'd been invited by some friends and they'd made reservations for us, we agreed to leave her in the car so as not to ruin a convivial evening... But if we'd just happened to be here for a normal dinner, we would have cordially greeted the owner and headed to another restaurant willing to welcome our Syria, as is the case in 99% of restaurants.

Excellent cuisine, very friendly and kind owner. The cuisine is very unique, with attention to detail.

A lovely restaurant nestled in the greenery of the city of Cavour. Sunday lunch with the family, a great experience.
