16/11/2025: A simple place run by extraordinary people. We found ourselves here by chance thanks to a Smartbox.
The pizza ingredients and dough are truly high-quality. I recommend it!

04/11/2025: Embarrassing for lunch, chickpea salad! Canned chickpeas and corn arrive, poured onto the plate, €1, then salmon pasta with a nice thick crust, truly awful.
13/10/2025: I think they've changed management, because unfortunately the quality has dropped, the flavor has dropped, and nothing we ordered was as good as it used to be.

27/10/2025: Unfortunately, Fabio 2025 gave up Bar Porto in March. I still know his predecessors... I've been a regular customer there since 1988.
Fabio's cooking was unique... sometimes it took a long time, but 98% of the time it was a treat for the palate.
History...
The service is friendly... the special ambiance can still be experienced a little inside along the counter... it's become just another café.
The cappuccino is good.
The green olives are no longer tasty.

30/12/2025: A pizzeria I discovered by chance. The place is sparse but clean, with a mix of '80s and industrial styles.
The service is good, with friendly and welcoming staff.
The pizza has an easily digestible dough. It's just a little dry when it cools, but the ingredients are really good. They make a pizza they call Neapolitan, but it's not as thick as I thought. I found it good. They also have several unique appetizers. I tried the multicolored tomini cheeses.
The glass of grappa at the end of the meal was really generous. Everything was very reasonably priced.
They accept cash or credit cards.
The restroom was clean and tidy.
15/11/2025: The atmosphere is old-fashioned, 1980s-style, and the wait times are incredibly long. We arrived at 8:30 PM and hadn't eaten by 9:15 PM. The dough was pale and white, giving the impression of a defrosted Cameo pizza. We've never seen the 4-cheese version with brie, but we're hungry, and after waiting more than an hour, we ate anyway.
Highly not recommended.

09/11/2025: Definitely a place to stop if you're visiting Palermo. Their food, like the paninis and cornettos, will leave you with the characteristic taste of Sicily. Their coffee is very good; you know, when you order it, it should be ristretto style, and you can order a cappuccino with plant-based milk—an important option for me, without a doubt. You have to order and pay and then sit down at a table, or sit down and order with an additional charge. It's a good place, though the staff aren't very friendly, but it's worth it to enjoy a sweet Sicilian treat.
