12/05/2025: If you are planning a trip out of Turin, I suggest the "Bon bocon" restaurant in Giaveno. The route, passing through Avigliana, offers a pleasant view of its lakes. Ah, I forgot to point out that "Bon bocon" is read "Bun bucon" and means "good morsel". I must say that we ate very well. The appetizers were excellent, in particular the fassone steak with artichokes and the fried artichokes, really crunchy. The Tarantina mussels, however, disappointed us a bit: although large, the muscle was very small, even if the flavor was good. Next we tasted the sea bass, prepared in two ways: one with artichokes and the other with grilled vegetables. The pasta, although a little al dente, had an excellent sauce. Despite some small inconveniences caused by crowding, the dining room staff was very kind."

12/05/2025: We went to eat last night, the food was excellent as always, it's a shame about the service: after asking the waiter Christian if he could please bring us a bowl for the waste shells (since we didn't know where to put them) and then two bottles of water, he arrogantly and annoyedly asks us: "do you have anything else to ask for? No because then I'd be busy" Let me start by saying that when the first ones arrived we still had dirty dishes from about twenty minutes at the table but we didn't complain because we also understand those who work, but arrogance and education are another matter.

11/05/2025: Always a guarantee! For the service, the friendliness, the professionalism and... the good food!!! Today we were there for lunch for Mother's Day, obviously as always based on fish: 2 octopus salad, a clam, an Ischitana, an a' parmigiana, 2 fried seafood, 1 chips, white wine, water, 1 cannoli, 2 coffees, 4 mirto. Everything super good as always.

20/05/2025: Sunday lunch after the visit to the Sacra di San Michele. Good food, fixed menu with various alternatives, informal environment and very responsive and kind staff, despite the great work. Excellent value for money

11/05/2025: Excellent bar in the center of Giaveno, everything is very good, from breakfasts, to ice creams, lunches and aperitifs, the staff is very quick and kind, the ice creams, croissants and appetizers are made entirely in their laboratory.

25/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant for the first time...and it will not be the last. The food is good and the staff is kind and attentive. Fish appetizers: (very good red mussels, excellent calamari and shrimp tails, very good seafood salad). First courses: spaghetti al Cantuccio (spaghetti allo scoglio) really good. Very large dish to share between two. Mezzemaniche with mussels and saffron very good. Second courses: fillet of sea bass, mixed fried food and fried calamari good. The only note of attention is the desserts. They need improvement. Well done.

12/04/2025: I found it shameful to pay €3 cover charge for eating a pizza on a paper tablecloth, moreover it's inconvenient to park because there isn't enough parking there are about ten cars in total, however in the PACE pizzeria also in Giaveno you pay €2 cover charge and there are plenty of parking spaces and also at PACCHERO
