29/12/2025: We found this trattoria online and, intrigued by the excellent photos and reviews, we called to see if they had availability. Arriving there from Giaveno, a short distance away, we sampled several of their dishes, partly on the recommendation of the owners, who were extremely kind and gave us detailed descriptions of the place and their various dishes, many of which come directly from their gardens and, in any case, from nearby.
Truly a delightful place and welcome, even towards our dog (who even earned little pieces of braised meat). We'll definitely be returning!! 😍

15/03/2026: We had dinner by booking in advance for a table of 27 people, and everything was excellent! The food (I recommend the paella), the service, the very kind and knowledgeable waiters, and finally, the very nice place with fair prices!

Friendly and attentive staff, fast service, though a bit disorganized at times, perhaps due to the large space. We had the mussels with pepper, mixed fried fish, and paccheri all'Ischitana. Everything was delicious, and there's also ample parking.
Highly recommended.

17/02/2026: Always busy: obviously a good sign, but it's also very chaotic. Many customers shout instead of talking, with little respect for the next table. I've been here several times and will definitely return.

01/03/2026: After a stroll through Giaveno, we decided to stop at this bar. We had a coffee. The idea of serving coffee with a small glass of zabaglione was a nice touch, even though it's served in ordinary paper cups, which undermines the importance of that thoughtful touch.
The coffee is very good, with or without zabaglione. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the staff's smiles are noticeably absent. Anyone who enters a bar expects a few carefree moments. And a smile from the person serving your coffee wouldn't hurt. Ad maiora!

01/03/2026: Three of us arrived on a Saturday evening, and we were lucky to find a table, as reservations are recommended. The staff were courteous and professional, the food excellent, and the accommodations comfortable. Highly recommended.
12/02/2026: Trattoria La Buffa in Giaveno was a wonderful discovery! My partner and I immediately felt at ease in the welcoming, informal atmosphere.
The food is excellent: generous appetizers, homemade first courses, meat-based main courses, and delicious desserts. A special mention goes to the liquored dolci, a truly delicious little extra that perfectly rounds out the meal. The wines recommended by the staff pair perfectly with the dishes.
Friendly, attentive service, and reasonable prices for the quality. An experience worth repeating: highly recommended for those who love authentic Piedmontese cuisine!

18/01/2026: I celebrated my 40th birthday on Epiphany Day with 30 people, and both the service and quality were impeccable! With the à la carte menu, everyone was served simultaneously.
The staff were kind and friendly.

05/03/2026: I had the 4 Stagioni pizza with porcini mushrooms. I've never had it with porcini mushrooms before, but this one was top-notch. The waitress and owner were very friendly, the place was clean and very cute, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.
