22/05/2025: We came to Fenestrelle for a day trip and stopped at this trattoria with Piedmontese cuisine and more. We were welcomed by a very kind waitress who offered us the menu of the day including gnocchi which were wonderful and cagliette (a typical first course of the place) which was also delicious. A very tasty local platter full of proposals cooked by the chef accompanied by local wine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for quality, quantity, kindness and honesty in prices.
22/05/2025: Siamo venuti a Fenestrelle per una gita fuori porta e ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria con cucina piemontese ma non solo. Ci ha accolto una gentilissima cameriera che ci ha proposto il menù del giorno tra cui i gnocchi che erano stupendi e le cagliette (un primo tipico dei luoghi) anch'esso buonissimo. Un tagliere del locale gustosissiomo e ricco di proposte cucinate dallo chef accompagnato dal vino locale. CONSIGLIATISSIMO per qualità, quantità, gentilezza e onestà nei prezzi.

19/05/2025: We stopped to eat a pizza quickly in 15 people while we were waiting for the bus stuck in the street. The owner welcomed us and prepared the table very quickly as well as for the orders. The pizzas were good and the atmosphere was very informal. But for us it was a welcome thing.
02/05/2025: Excellent restaurant in Fenestrelle, very good prices and very friendly and welcoming staff. They also bake bread every day which is spectacular.
A slightly austere environment but beyond that nothing to say!

28/12/2024: Normal food although little choice. But sympathy just isn't at home. Zero smiles, annoyed responses from those who served us. To any question even about the dishes we received hateful answers, without considering that we were freezing to death and we had lunch with our jackets on... And wanting to give it a second chance we went back on our way home after 2 days of vacation to have dinner. But since there were 25 minutes left until 7.30pm (the place was open anyway with people sitting at the table having an aperitif) they told us that they couldn't let us have dinner and greeted us without even telling us that maybe we could have sat down and wait those 25 minutes. Nothing. They said goodbye to us and told us to go out and we left without dinner. Congratulations for your hospitality and friendliness!! Zero warmth and friendliness. Never again.
08/12/2024: For years when I'm in the area I've stopped here to eat. Great food, good service and moderate prices. Advised.

04/11/2024: Ristoro dentro il forte di Fenestrelle, porzioni abbondanti, servizio alla mano, molto disponibili e gentili.
Un 4 abbiamo preso 2 menu' con antipasto e primo e 2 con antipasto e secondo e li abbiamo divisi x 2. Nonostante la visita nel Forte di 3 ore in salita con un sacco di gradini ripidi x finire tutto abbiamo fatto fatica,cibo buono e digeribile.

26/04/2025: C'è molto da raccontare,e purtroppo tutto negativo. Si inizia con l'accoglienza a dir poco antipatica perché siamo arrivati alle 20.15 avendo prenotato per le 20.30. ci tocca aspettare seduti ai tavolini del bar. Niente di particolare senonché quando ci danno accesso alla sala scopriamo che i tavoli erano già liberi e probabilmente quei 20 minuti servivano per apparecchiare. Sul tavolo c'è un sinistro cartello che intima di restare seduti fino a quando non si sarà ricevuto il conto: ci si può alzare solo per andare a pagare alla cassa. Qualcuno porta i menù dopo altri 20 minuti. Tornano a prendere le ordinazioni dopo ulteriori 20 minuti. Per ricevere le sole bevande occorrono ulteriori 30 minuti, a questo punto siamo seduti già da oltre un'ora e ancora delle pizze non c'è traccia. Teniamo conto che in tutto i tavoli saranno una decina. Neanche a dirlo, quando esauriti pazienza e appetito arrivano le pizze la delusione diventa definitiva per la scarsissima qualità delle stesse, al punto da ricordare consistenza e aspetto delle pizze surgelate del supermercato. Dopo due ore di agonia lasciamo questo posto a dir poco disastroso con l'unica certezza... Mai più!
