07/09/2025: A place filled with genuine people, a truly wonderful experience where you can enjoy good, authentic food and basic rooms for a relaxing break before or after hiking the many trails the place offers. The price is incredibly low compared to what we're used to, so don't expect to be treated like you're at a fancy restaurant. A simple place for simple people.

If you're in the Pellice Valley and looking for a place to relax and enjoy good food, Cruello is the perfect place!!
After a lovely hike, we ate some delicious food prepared by the fantastic Jen!
You can get there by taking a nice walk or, more conveniently, by car, and then reach the refuge in just a few minutes.
Absolutely recommended!
03/01/2026: Without a doubt, one of the best refuges we've ever stayed at: excellent food, generous portions, fair prices, very kind staff, and a truly picturesque location.
We went with a baby just over a year old and had a wonderful time.

05/01/2026: I can't give a 0, so I'll give it 1 star. Terrible quality!! Pasta with very salty sauce, anonymous tagliolini, but the worst part was the expensive sliced meat seasoned with lousy oil passed off as extra virgin. An infinite disappointment, €93 down the drain. I absolutely don't recommend it!!!
I'm forced to add, after your KIND reply, that fortunately, I eat out quite often and understand what quality food means, unlike you. Furthermore, since I'm acting in good faith, I didn't take a photo of the oil the meat was floating in, which, even to a less refined palate than mine, could clearly tell from a less than careful glance that it was NOT EXTRA VIRGIN OIL at all, nor even olive oil (probably seeds). I also limited my comment and didn't mention that the waitress had also added dishes from another table, and we had to go back. The truth is that, as I have read later, unfortunately, in the other reviews, you are not at all interested in the customer but only in profit, and this is also evident in the way you respond. Never again, definitely.

24/11/2025: Dinner featuring raclette, a typical French cheese with a bitterish note, melted over the heat of a stove and drizzled over cured meats and vegetables. Time flies in good company, and your belly fills with joy. Enjoy your meal and have a wonderful experience. 😋
18/11/2025: A delightful restaurant in the upper Pellice Valley.
The friendly and professional owner delighted us with typical Swiss and French dishes such as raclette and pierrade, which were very good and plentiful.
The cured meats were also exquisite.
The wine list was basic but exquisite.
A reasonable price.
An experience to repeat.

Not just a restaurant and pizzeria, but also a bar for aperitifs, but a place where you can feel at home!
La Diga offers a fabulous selection of pizzas (truly something for everyone), from the simplest to the most exquisite, featuring typical Pellice Valley products (especially cheeses).
The food and burgers are also excellent! And if you like bagna cauda, don't miss it!
The kindness, hospitality, and friendliness of all the staff make this place even more magical!
I can't wait to go back!
26/07/2025: Ordered 2 pizzas at home, arrived cold, no thermal bag for transport, burned, we spent the night with a stomach ache, also they were not very risen, an experience to forget

12/02/2025: Personale accogliente ed ambiente ben riscaldato ...ma qui finiscono le note positive. Locale arredato in modo anonimo, tovaglie di carta che coprono solo parzialmente la tavola, bagno... lasciamo perdere.
Scelta solo tra 2 primi e 2 secondi (la varietà è maggiore nella mia mensa aziendale che, vi assicuro, non è sulle guide turistiche). Qualità assai mediocre, un buon sugo pronto avrebbe fatto più bella figura di sé su quei primi
21/12/2024: Struttura d'altri tempi, al piano rialzato in antica villetta con giardino in centro paese.
Bella sala con soli 6 tavoli ed una stufa, con vista sul giardino privato e con il sole che riscalda il cuore.
La cosa migliore è il menu, semplice e genuino, spiegato con cura dalla brava e gentile signorina che serve tutti i tavoli.
Cibo fresco e appena cucinato come se foste a casa vostra.
Ricco antipasto alla piemontese, pasta con scelta di 3 condimenti, secondi con carne magra e di ottima qualità e deliziosi dolci con crostata, torta o bunet fatti in casa, probabilmente il giorno stesso.
Buono anche il vino della casa servito in caraffa.
Per finire un buon caffè fatto con la moka e il conto che non riserva nessuna sorpresa.
Qui non si cerca il lusso, ma si trova la qualità.
